It is a super easy to use site/program and allows me to restream to multiple platforms at once with no drop in quality delivered. The combined chat from all platforms and related to other chats is EVERYTHING!

Nachteile

That I have to pay to restream to a Facebook page unless it is my own personal page...but can pay for that option, so can’t really complain I guess.

Vorteile

Set up VERY quickly, requires minimal maintenance to run smoothly. Streams to multiple platforms effortlessly.

Nachteile

Sometimes it fails to connect to youtube and reconnecting it can be tedious because it logs you out of everywhere at once, but that is relatively infrequent.

Vorteile

Restream.io user interface is extremely user friendly, and easy to use. Restream.io is feature rich, the combine chat is a huge plus, and is has a huge array of connecting streaming services.

Nachteile

As feature rich as it may be, is not cost effective to all budgets.

It does not pull in all groups from fb. That is frustrating

The software is easy to use. Restream is essential if you plan to maximize the viewership of your content. It also integrates Discord chat so that is another way you can maximize the reach of your content.

Nachteile

There's not much to complain about seeing how Restream offers a free option of the software. Sometimes there are issues with chat, but that doesn't happen often.

It's super easy to get your stream set up to go through the multiple services by just putting in the single stream site & code into your streaming software

I haven't really run in to many issues that turned me off of the service. It works as intended.

- Puts the Restream website in my description, on top of all of my links as well

I liked the ability to stream to several different places at once while not having to use any more bandwidth in the process.

Rare occasions in which my streaming software and their servers would not make contact properly, but again, this was rare.

Restream is easy to use and very affordable. I love the all in one chat during lives.

Honestly so easy to use. You can also very easily add branded graphics either behind your video or as an overlay. You can also pull audience comments onto the screen LIVE. Honestly, I'm obsessed with this software. The definition of doing one thing really really well.

Nachteile

You're sometimes beholden to the usage limitations of wherever you're streaming to. So, for example, you can no longer stream to an individual LinkedIn event. You have to stream directly to your page or set up an event in Restream itself.

What I like most about restream.io is the dashboard, updating titles, social alerts, chat, bot, and analytics

What I least liked about restream.io is when I get disconnected from the server and/or broadcast using the software

The analytics are not working well. I think it's because this function is still in beta. I hope they fix this soon.

We use it with OBS to stream to Youtube and Facebook. It does the job well, and it is easy to setup. It acts like a middle man and then streams your live broadcast to different sites. It saves bandwidth. The connection is stable.

It is a little expensive compared to the competition, but otherwise works fine.

Restream very easily allows us to live stream our worship services to both Youtube and Facebook. The analytics are easy to process and helpful for assessment.

We have no qualms with Restream. It does exactly what we ask it to do and for a reasonable cost and without much training.

Lots of issues with titles. For example, you pay for the FB addition. But the title of your stream is never correct.

It just works. Very easy to use and is reliable. I have never lost a connection during a stream, it just works.

The delay in chat is a huuuge bummer. Some platforms the delay can be almost 10-20 seconds, and when trying to have conversation across platforms it is a mess.

I used to go live on Facebook through Facebook Live and the quality of my live videos wasn’t great. The problem was I wanted to stream to YouTube and Periscope, too. I was happy to find Restream as it helped me stream to all of these three platforms simultaneously. Before that, I had to choose only one platform.

My audience wasn’t happy to see I was live on Facebook and kind of ignore them on YouTube and Periscope. Now I don’t have this problem. Also, the quality of the stream is better because I am using better equipment.

We recently bought into Restream when our church services were forced to go online-only during the COVID lockdown. We previously were using Livestream. We still use it but have found Restream is more effective in streaming to other platforms like YouTube and Facebook. It also allows us to schedule pre-recorded events, but stream them as if they are "live."

Nachteile

It's a little "clunky" on the backend in terms of interface navigation. Also, we have to use a third party provider to stream to Instagram Live. It'd be great if Restream could make that a built-in option.

I like how it's a free browser software that allows you to stream on multiple platforms at once. You should use this service.

I don't like the watermark. However, they need a way to make income. So paying would be a good way to remove the watermark.

I can stream to multiple platforms at once for free, I get more feature as a premium member. I also can see all of my chats in one window. All chats are shared so everyone is in on the conversation.

Restream aren’t upfront with their annoying logos on the stream even with a paid plan.
Also, scheduler is a different subscription, not included in restream and quite expensive for what it does IMO.

There is an issue with the chat program where it doesn't keep up with all the chats I run through it, like a large portion of the time, Twitch's chat doesn't show up.

I like the user interface of Restream because it's intuitive and clean. I think it's easy to add and edit channels, schedule events and stream pre-recorded videos.

Despite I like the RTMP protocol, I think that Restream must implement SRT protocol to ingest the streaming from external sources, because it is more reliable and has less latency.
