Vorteile

Vor allem der guter Service bei Fragen und die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten der Software, angefangen bei Buchungen über Angebote und Vermietung bis zur Rechnungsstellung sind für uns hierdurch in einem Tool gelöst.

Nachteile

Leider ist der Preis für kleine Unternehmen, die zur Zeit häufig zu kämpfen haben, nicht so erschwinglich, weshalb nur wenige Personen bei uns Zugriff auf die Software, sprich eine Lizens haben.

Vorteile

Das Gesamtpaket, welches Rentman bietet ist super ausgearbeitet und vereinfacht viele Arbeitsprozesse. Das managen von Inventar im Bereich der Lagerverwaltung und Inventar in Projekten ist einfach super!

Nachteile

Bei der Stundenerfassung wäre eine automatische Berechnung der Überstunden und Resturlaubstage angenehm.
Außerdem wären automatische/dynamische Kalendereinträge des Zeitplans eines Projektes fantastisch.

Vorteile

Wir nutzen nur einen begrenzten Teil von Rentman (Materialien, Projekte, Lager, Werkstatt und Aufgaben). Die Bereiche sind für uns ideal und gut nutzbar.

Nachteile

Die Zumietungen funktionieren nicht immer zuverlässig (oder wir verstehen nicht genau, was, wie zusammenhängt). Die Bestände i. den Projekten stimmen nicht immer.Beim Support habe ich den Eindruck, dass vor 2-3 Jahren mehr technisches Know how vorhanden war. Heute eher weniger, aber die Anfragen werden sehr schnell bearbeitet und es werden intern die technischen Fragen abgeklärt.

Das Cloudprinzip, die Übersichtlichkeit, das schnelle zurechtfinden , der durchdachte Ablauf. Der Perfekte und schnelle Service

Nachteile

Die etwas ungünstigen Lizenz Optionen, das man immer Gleich ne Poweruser Lizenz enbötigt um zB Material planen zu können, es sollte noch einen dritte Hinzens zwischen Anwender und Poweruser geben!

Nachteile

Teuer... gerade wenn man die Power User erweitern möchte. Ich würde ich mir wünschen das für kleine Unternehmen wenigstens 2x in einem Standart Paket angeboten werden (unter 50€/Monat)

Vorteile

Rentman ist sehr übersichtlich und voll auf Rental Companys ausgerichtet. Der Kundensupport ist sehr schnell, hilfsbereit und sehr fähig

Nachteile

Die Anbindung an die Buchhaltungs-Software Sage 50 war direkt nicht möglich, wir mussten uns ein Conversion Excel Sheet bauen damit wir eine lesbare .csv Datei erhalten. Ein integriertes Tool in Rentman um eine passende Tabelle ausgeben zu können wäre sehr hilfreich.

Aus den Kontakten können keine Projekte erstellt werden, was für unseren Arbeits-Ablauf sehr hilfreich wäre

Vorteile

Das Produkt ist gut zu bedienen, ich kann jederzeit die Werte anpassen. Für unser Anforderungen ist es das Perfekte Programm. Wenn ich eine Frage habe kann ich mich jederzeit an den Support wenden, und das Problem wir dann auch bearbeitet und gelöst.

Nachteile

Wir haben vorher mit Exeltabellen gearbeitet und es war nicht sehr schwierig das Produkt in unsere Geschäftsprozesse zu intrigieren. Klar braucht man am Anfang eine Zeit bis man mit dem Produkt vertraut ist und alles eingerichtet hat, aber man kann ja auch an einer Schulungen teilnehmen.

Einfache und logische Handhabung für die ersten Schritte zum Kommissionieren und Disponieren.

Nachteile

Ich habe immer wieder kleine Probleme bei den Formularen, der Vergabe der Rechnungsnummern (werden bei mir nicht mehr automatisch vergeben), Mahnungen erstellen unter Berücksichtigung von Teilzahlungen, das Rechnungsjournal addierte bei älteren Versionen die monatlichen Umsätze (das hätte ich gerne wieder)

Vorteile

Für meine Kaufentscheidung war hauptsächlich ausschlaggebend, das ich Projektvorlagen erstellen kann, da wir sehr häufig mit immer wiederkehrenden Setups arbeiten und ich somit sehr schnell ein Angebot erstellen kann.

Nachteile

Manche Einschränkungen sind nicht nachvollziehbar. Es gibt Funktionen, die an manchen Stellen nicht verfügbar sind. Ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, wenn es eine Funktion gibt, sollte sie doch auch an allen Stellen zur Verfügung stehen.
Und das Personal- und Transportmodul (Standardfunktionen) bedarf für meine Wünsche noch eine deutliche Verbesserung. Hier sind viele bekannte Funktionen gar nicht vorhanden (eigene Ordnerstruktur erstellen, Filter setzen etc.).

Wir nutzen seit gut 4 Jahren Rentman täglich. Die Cloudbasierte Lösung und dahingehend der einfache Zugriff von überall aus erleichtert vieles. Zudem ist der einfache Workflow von Angebotserstellung über das Packen/Laden im lager bis hin zur Rechnungserstellung besonders hervorzuheben.

Nachteile

Es wäre wünschenswert wenn alle Funktionen, welche in den neuen Verträgen implementiert werden auch zeitnah den "alten" zur Verfügung gestellt werden (z.b. Nachverfolgbarkeit über Änderungen in Projekten)

The system is constantly evolving with weekly updates and features added from inputs of the user base.
The pricepoint is great for a system like this and very flexible in terms of different functions and users. To have unlimited free users is valuable for us with a lot of freelance users that need access.
The support is outstanding! Answers quickly and always replies to feature requests or bug reports.

Nachteile

Its not always simple to navigate and some functions can be hidden. Overall the system can feel a bit overengineered sometimes.
For our usercase the system lacks in terms of tracking specific equipment and being able to book it by serial number.

I like that the day to day running of the company can be completed solely through Rentman. I don't need added Calanders or planners to manage the equipment, crew and vehicles

Nachteile

The app can be quite limiting when on the road. I would like to be able to book a simple reminder or enter a basic job so when on the road I don't forget when returning to work to complete a full job entry. Probably a me issue but could be useful.

crew planner by far is the best i have seen.

equipment module is good but not having the ability to receive new stock or generate PO for new equipment purchases means using another system for assets tracking. also the equipment image field needs to be present on the app and picking of projects. kind of pointless with out this i think.
need a second app or new function with in the app for crew planner on the go.

Overall logic on the software is very fluent and easy to follow. I never read much of the tips and tricks section, but after couple of hours use I was able to figure out the key functions. I like the amount of time it saves me in quotations and planning for resources.

Especially I like the Crew Planner.. That helps a lot when booking people to gigs. Our freelancers are also happy with the Rentman App for phone.

Web based service is also a very good thing for smaller business when the need for own server base and maintenance is eliminated.

Nachteile

I tried to think this quite a lot, actually. The only thing that really bugs me is the section of documents which takes in data from tabs (customer name, location, project number..)

For me, and probably many other, who do not understand that much about coding,(think the section is using css?) that there would be a simpler way to edit the general data of the document.
I also happen to know that what I just wrote, corrupts the very idea for the software to fetch the data on the section automatically.

Document templates are a bit annoying to get "just right", but well worth it in the long run.

One does need a specialist within the organization who is very "into" the software and wants to learn more, and train others, in order to make things run smoothly. It is not that simple, for most of the users.

For us this puts together perhaps 3-5 other softwares that we have been using separately without any synk in between them making every job to be entered manually in each software for each change or update.
Rentman totally takes this away and saves a huge amount of time!

After starting using the software, the tremendous customer support is also worth mentioning as one of the pros of the whole Rentman "experience"!

Nachteile

Quite steep learning curve if coming from a much smaller similar solution. Some parts have extremely detailed individual settings for user customization, making it quite confusing and overwhelming at times, and some features on the other hand have way to little options for customization.

I love the customer service. They get back to you as soon as they can. They have plenty of warning if their team is not available. They act fast in emergencies. most importantly, they listen. We have come to them with ideas of features that should be added only to see an update the next month with our recommendations/implementations.

The learning curve and functionality. The learning curve was difficult although [sensitive content hidden] and the plenty of resources they had made it go by fast. You really just need to learn the terminology and then you can almost use it however you please. It is very customizable in the sense that there are multiple ways to complete a task. IE schedule, book equipment, take inventory, check gear in and out, truck pack weight/power requirements. Just once you get 3-4 layers deep like editing a document template, or creating your own QR tags. It gets a little buggy, without hesitation you use it because you know the Rentman team is there to help once a problem arises.

time tracking system feels more difficult than it needs to be. As an admin not being able to punch in my end time 5 minutes before is frustrating. as well as not having the option for tagging that time to a PO#/ Job # without first creating it as an action item. seems like an unnecessary step.

We have multiple account reps that had different names for different inventory items. Now we have a standardized inventory with pictures and locations, so everyone is on the same page. Calculating shipping costs is so easy now. The reps can book items and see what their total weight is. I'm not wasting time on projects that may or may not confirm.

Nachteile

There's still some features I would like. For example locking down a project so an account rep can't change something day of. Or being able to get a notification that something has changed the day of. We're spilt between 2 warehouses so the account reps can't always walk in the back and talk to the crew. Being able to see Internal Remarks when booking equipment out on the app would be helpful.

De grootste pluspunten zijn dat Rentman in de cloud draait en dus op elke computer te openen is. Voor degene die huiverig is voor cloud diensten kan dat juist een nadeel zijn maar Rentman is zelden offline.
Dat al onze medewerkers en freelancers direct bij hun informatie kunnen via de app is geweldig.

Nachteile

Wij werken met kickback fees bij het offreren naar klanten van klanten (en het vervolgens factureren naar klanten direct). Daar kan Rentman helaas (nog) niet mee om gaan.

Een alles-in-één programma: van offertes en facturatie tot planning. Heel overzichtelijk en compleet. Het is gebruiksvriendelijk. De automatisering zorgt ervoor dat we efficiënt kunnen werken.

Nachteile

Het is zo uitgebreid dat je soms door de bomen het bos niet meer ziet.
Na een update zijn zaken soms veranderd waardoor het opeens anders werkt dan voorheen (niet altijd een verbetering in mijn ogen).
Handmatige aanpassingen in materialen worden niet altijd goed doorgevoerd. Voorbeeld: zodra een prijs handmatig aangepast wordt, wordt op de offerte/factuur nog wel het originele btw bedrag berekend.

Pas assez de tuto/vidéos multi-langues. Nous ne sommes pas tous bilingues :) Et même si nous avons un minimum de connaissance anglaise, sur des termes techniques comme comprendre l'utilisation et l'utilité d'un conteneur par exemple n'est pas si évidente que ça.
