I have been using Fixme.IT for a few months now and it's extremely easy to use.
Easy for the client on the other end of the phone to log in and download the product in order for me to start fixing their issue.
Vorteile
I really like using fixme.it because it is easy to use. Having a customer call with issues on their end can be tough and then I need them to log online and that can be frustrating but with this program it's easy for them to get online and download the product and the rest if up to me.

Great program, but needs better functionality for UAC
saves time and money by remoting in and taking care of problems.
Vorteile
Cost is excellent. plenty of unattended clients. I like the short url and the automatic cleanup after using the client install.
Nachteile
sometimes i cant type in the password field. i'll have to restart my system then I can do it. also the UAC is a big disappointment. I feel the developers and find a better work around.

It's pretty seamless to get a session started, and pass the info to the customer to enable access.

I have used FixMeIT for a few years now. Great Price and does what I needed it to.
Vorteile
Price. Ease of Use. Great functionality. Even allows drag and drop from administrator to remote workstation.
Nachteile
I cannot think of any cons. The only problem I have experienced is occasionally having to coax a remote user on locating the icon on their desktop, launching it, giving me the code that is generated and remaining at their workstation long enough to manually grant me access.

An awesome tool for quickly assisting users.
Our organization has a different integrated remote support tool that we use daily for controlling workstations. However in an emergency when that software is corrupt, unusable, not installed, etc. Fixme.IT is a lifesaver for those instances where we need to quickly assist a user and get them back up and running.
Vorteile
The best part of the software is how it runs on the fly on a client without needing to be installed beforehand. The per-seat instead of per-user is a great value as well.
Nachteile
The expert console could be a little better designed. But after an initial learning curve, it does work well.

Intuitive interface.
Ease of connecting with our mobile users without having them come to the office.
Vorteile
The simplicity of usage. The interface is clean. The interface is not overburdened and cluttered. The interface is quick.
Nachteile
The software is Microsoft Windows only. I would like to see an Ubuntu Linux or other Debian linux or an Apple Mac version.

It is a great affordable products that we have been using with no issues for about 6 months.
Vorteile
It was very easy to train my reps. on the new product. The customers find it quick and easy and they don't have to go through any lengthy downloads.
Nachteile
I have really don't have anything negative to say. The only complaint I get once in a great while is difficulty when trying to transfer a file other than a pdf.

Simplicity - my clients are amazed at how easy and quick it is to connect and receive help.
I have used similar products but with this product, I have not experienced any connection issues
Nachteile
Cannot service Macintosh clients. I service both PC clients as well as Mac users, however, there is no way for Mac users to download and connect to the system. It would be great if such a capability could be added

Allows us to connect to shared customer servers and computers from various companies in various countries in the Caribbean. No need to purchase the same license over and over, just purchase seats is sufficient.

Another help me from far away, software
Vorteile
It is easy to use, it is lightweight. No more fighting to control the mouse :) I haven't use the program up to 10 computers, but it is great even with 4 :) There were no lags while starting the remote maintainance of the remote PC.
Nachteile
No Mac users, no mobile support. No way to block the users input (I was talking about no more fighting but.. maybe sometimes is better to block the other side customer)

I can sit at my desk and resolve any end-user problem whether they are in the office, on the road, international or home.

Connection is seamless and easy for clients to use. It allows me to brand the product with my logo and information.
Nachteile
I wish I could blank the screen, on occasion, when I'm using the unattended mode, the screen is visible to passing workers.

Pretty easy to use. Good value for the money.

Inexpensive for the functionality you get. Fairly easy for the client to use.
Nachteile
Often the unattended access doesn't connect the first time and may take disconnecting and reconnecting 3 or 4 times. When it finally does work it's only after letting it sit for a couple minutes.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
We love these guys and we are soooo happy we found them. We are a small Mom and Pop business and we sell and repair copiers. Sometimes our clients need us to set them up to print and using fix me IT has saved us so much down time since my husband is the only tech. We used Log Me In and Join Me for a while but we kept having to create new accounts as their annual prices were high and only priced for the larger companies. Currently you can only remote in for PC and not for MAC but they said they are working it. Again we highly recommend using these guys since you cannot beat the price and how easy it is to use.

FixMe.IT is similar to other remote support tools, however, a big difference from the others is 4K support.
Nachteile
Other than 4K support there is really not a huge difference between FixMe.IT and others like LogMeIn or TeamViewer.

We had an old Bomgar device that died, and this service replaced it completely and for a very affordable price.

Great Remote Access Software
Overall it was a great choice to go with FixMe.IT. I specialize in Windows Servers/Workstations so the product works for me. The app is not clunky and just works flawlessly. Everything I need in a remote support software is here.
Vorteile
It's fast and reliable. It's much better than a lot of competitors for a cheaper price. I like that no matter what screen size your connected to you don't have problems. I often have problems with GoToAssist where I need to end a session and reconnect, this has never happen with FixMe.IT. It's just a smooth system that works really well.
Nachteile
Would be nice to service Macs, iPhones, and Androids.

I used the Fixme it software for showing my probelm to IT support folks
I liked this tool, easy to handle, convenient as it is recommended by the IT service personal.
Vorteile
I liked this product as it allowed my IT support service staff personal to view the error and fix it from a distance. I have saved the screen shot of the error and I could show it. I could do a live demonstration with this application and so he did complete my task within short time. Other wise, I had to share the huge screen shots which may exceed the limit in a email.
Nachteile
I did not know this tool until our IT support staff personal used it and endorsed to use it. This is not very supporting. It would be great, if this tool is well advertised for solving the needs of the customers.

The software has worked exactly as needed. Very satisfied.
The primary benefit was to be able to provide remote tech support for my clients.
Vorteile
The product is very affordable and very easy to use. This allows me to maintain the software even though I would only use it periodically. It also allows me to give the client a link and thats all that is needed.
Nachteile
Only works with windows, no plugins for MAC. I have had several occasions where the client needing help was utilizing a MAC and I couldn't remotely manage their pc to assist.

What was expected from the software
Vorteile
It is easy to use and connect with remote locations for support. I like the fact of the unattended remote access when trying to make changes after business hours.
Nachteile
I have not really found any cons yet with the software. It has met all the needs that I was looking for when I purchased it.
