Vorteile

Excellent, friendly customer support is my favorite feature of Ninox. These guys love their product and listen to their customers. They are very quick to respond to questions and have helped me add features to my database that I couldn't figure out.

With the templates they offer and the tutorial videos they have posted on YouTube, anyone can understand the basics of how Ninox works.

Nachteile

The interface is not the prettiest and can only be modified to a certain point. I can't wait to see v.3, because that is when software hits it's stride.

The software is easy to use and you can use the icloud on apple to connect the desktop with ipad or iphone. There are a lot of features and a small learning curve but most should be able to create a useful database. There are power user features as well.

I wish it had a way to see all map data on one map. For my sales job, this is important.

I have no background in databases but this program is easy to use no technical programing needed product is easy to set up and use daily i keep track of all of my online students using this database and the cloud feature is super fast try it out you will not be disapointed

None so far wish the reports were easier to use wish they could be broken down by week months or days not easy to customize on the PDF side however downloading the CSV is ok

I used Nionx for my business and personal use, this is a really good flexible platform that helps me to do my developments really fast. I used this tool to develop an Invoice and document management & CRM system for my own with custom database without more knowledge in DB design and app development.

Pure codeeditor should be improved, less errormessages and sometimes a Little Bit complicate Syntax for the indecies.

Easy to use and to deploy. The screen is simple and uncluttered so users are just concerned within data input. Support has very good.

Nachteile

Adding colour to tabs would highlight these to users as they tend to look down along the left. Adding a print button which automatically produces a pdf file. For a developer if you have many users each using the same "template" you can make changes to all of the "templates" without going into each database and changing to program. There is no scope or encouragement for a "developers program" - where we could sell the package to our customers for a reasonable fee.

Very user friendly and its only limit is the users mind, unlimited potential. Support Staff are amazing and extremely useful.

Support team only works on Central European Time (CET), so if you are in the United States and having issues, getting assistance can be delayed and a little irritating.

Ninox is very easy to use, anyone can create a very functional database in minutes! Access through the iphone app is free.

If you need to do something a little more complex you will need to code a little, but this does not detract from the overall product at all, support is very responsive and they even write the code for you if you need it.

Not as easy to use for an aggrigate view, like summarizing or averaging data from multiple data cells. Needs to be exported or represented as a graph.

Easy to Use, Excellent Customer Service, Quick to Set Up. I had never implemented a database before and with the help of the Ninox folks I had this up and running within a week. Awesome!

The only thing that I would like to added is more skin customization but that is a minor, nit picky thing on my part.

This is a good CRM software, very easy to setup and easy to understand UI’s. Manufacturers will develop more and they should make beautiful UI and looks. Overall very useful to business and professionals. Money wise worth.

It is very easy to create a database, and it's easy for end-users also. The screens and navigation are all user-friendly.
Its cross-platform and offline capabilities on iOS make is a standout product, and the support from the Developers is excellent. Great online community too.

Nachteile

Some of the coding behind the scenes isn't as straightforward as VBA, and some of the functions aren't entirely intuitive, but after ready some tutorials, it becomes apparent.

Ninox is extremely to use and customize to your needs once you figure out the fundamentals. Customer support is solid, and they are continuing to improve the instruction manual. I haven't had any issues with the Ninox cloud being unavailable. Overall a very stable product.

Learning how to use it can be complicated at first, especially for those who have little experience with databases.

The software itself is great for its value, it's very easy to get going with your own database and set it up suited to your needs, simple, easy, and far from complicated. Their customer service support is stellar, I've had a few questions and issues and they've reached out to me in no time and helped me solve all the problems I had.

The only con I have experienced so far: It doesn't have the functionality to import images in a "batch" setup to match with records in the database where a field is reserved for an image.

For a small business it does everything I need it to. Simple to create new databases, new fields, etc. It's low cost, and it works on my Mac!

If you're entirely brand new to using databases, then you might need some help to produce reports, but the customer service is absolutely brilliant!

Onboarding was so easy, moving from an Excel environment​ was so easy, within less than half a day I was able to operate Ninox and see the value it held for my business. I even moved my private life onto Nino. The support was unbelievable, I really did not expect the extend Ninox was prepared to assist me.

It is easy to get started and the templates and forum are really good, though it is easy to lose a great deal of time in the forum.

There are certain aspects that can be improved like the correct print layout on iOS devices, the possibility to recover deleted data and the split screen option to check two tables at the same time.

Very easy to use. Very fast to develop an application. Easy sharing with a team. I made a complex database for multi company and it work well. I will not go back to Filemaker or MS Access.

That it can be used on iPhone, iPad and a Mac is a killer feature for me: data available everywhere. Of course: the formulas can be produced only on the mac - but can be used everywhere. And that is a often seen characteristic in other apps too: The mac to produce datas, the mobiles to view them. In this case: the mobile can be used to generate data - but without changing the data model - what seems reasonable.

On the other hand I wrote a question and had a solution to a rather complex formula in less then 24 hours from the support.

A few functions did require a little programing, but customer support helped me through it. Ninox Customer Support was there whenever we needed assistance, and was able to quickly resolve our requests.

I love the ability to not just enter the data but create the structure of the database as I want it. It means I can create databases adapted precisely to my needs rather than adapt our data to a preset structure. The access via phone app is really useful as well. And the support team is excellent should I ever need help!

If you really have to nitpick, there are two things that could be better. One is filters — there is no way to filter
or order the table view by column A, then column B, at the moment, or to filter a multiple choice column with choice A AND choice B or by choice A OR choice B. The second is maybe an ability to remove all non-visible fields when printing a record, as currently the capacity for adapting the print layout is fairly limited.

The interface suits a logical, traditional approach and method for building a relational database. It behaves very well. No hidden, mysterious functions taking place. Everything is accessible so you can easily figure out complex relationships between tables. I can keep all my data local.

Still waiting for security on iPad so I can set permissions for other users of the same data - hide sensitive data and prevent edit/deletions.

Interface could be improved and the cloud edition don't sync dates with Apple calendar. Moreover, for some kind of records miss an 'empty records' filter.

The Software is really user friendly, I did have (almost) no experience except for some on high school 15 years ago and still easy to work with.

The way it is designed it easy to start your data base en by trail and error you learn fast. And the manual on the website covers almost al the basics

The online support they offer by confrenscall works great! The tip's they gave makes the work even easier.

Dind't find many cons. The manual could be a bit better but it think they are working on that. And they sad the connection with mail chimp will be there soon so then they have solved that for me.

When I made a duplicate database, renamed it, made it empty I discovered that the original DB was also empty. And what is more, all daily archived copies before the date of duplicating were also empty. In other words, one year of work is lost.

Extremely convenient to be able to enter/edit contact information from phone or ipad and have it there on your desktop when returning to the office. No negative concerns. The product is a simple, basic CRM which works extremely well. The questions I had getting started were answered completely, fully and timely by Ninox' incredible customer supprot team. This truly is an amazing product.
