Great documentation tool
Vorteile
Taking minutes of meeting on a weekly basis, seems to be a stressful task, having to listen to recorded sessions and typing all over again.
With google voice, it has become less stressful for me, i am able to capture words while meeting recording is ongoing and i only have to worry about listening during the meeting and proof reading. This has really helped me with saving myself a lot of time spent on mundane task.
I get to save stuffs in my google keep in a more smarter way, i can capture my thoughts quickly and have it saved as a Voice note as well as text. For me it is really a great tool and a smarter way to work.

Nothing comes to mind , its a great tool and a smarter way to save time.

Great addition to our business
Overall this program has been a great addition to our business. We use it to make calls to clients while keeping our own personal lines private via their choose your number function in the initial set-up.
Vorteile
This has allowed is to keep in touch with our customers when our cellular service is down or lacking.
Nachteile
I don't see any cons to this product. Quite the opposite actually. We have recommended it to friends and colleagues alike.

Excellent low cost VoIP service for the USA
Given the low/no cost of the service it is quite good despite its limitations.
Vorteile
Ability to integrate with a real phone number and redirect calls to that number. It has a slew of features to do things such as manage spam and provide voicemail as emails via a voice to message service.
Nachteile
Restricted to the USA rather than being supported internationally. Limited SMS capability as it can receive but cannot send to international numbers.

Google Voice provides easy connectivity
Google Voice has provided me with a safe, easy to use tool to stay connected with my families while teaching virtually. I am very thankful for that!
Vorteile
I like the ease of use with Google Voice. As a teacher, I do not often want to give my personal number to families but I also want them to be able to easily reach me. Since I currently do not have access to my school, I needed a way for families to call me with questions and/or concerns.
Nachteile
I do not like that it can be difficult to get a phone number that falls within your area code. Many families will not answer a call that is out of area code.

Google Dictation
I used Google Voice for many months dictating about five novels. I loved having a completed novel in a fraction of the time. The issue was in editing and remembering what I had dictated. A good workaround is to record it while I'm doing it.
Vorteile
I loved the ease of using Google Voice when dictating my manuscripts. The words typed onto the document the moment I spoke it.
Nachteile
You can't train Google Voice so many of the words I spoke were wrong. And it didn't type out the punctuation.

Service for calling partners in the USA
For VoIP programs, it is important that the software integrates into existing services and processes - Google Voice is not doing well with this. I would also like to receive lower rates for calls within Eastern Europe.
Vorteile
With the minimum subscription package, you get unlimited calls and SMS in the USA. Integration into Google services for business. There are convenient mobile apps for Android and iOS.
Nachteile
Weak integration with Gmail and Google Hangouts. Quite expensive service plans from $ 10 to $ 30 per month, which loses to competitors for use for calls around the world.

Review of Google Voice
Google voice is nice as a method to have an alternate phone number for texts and calls. I don't think I would utilize the service for a full telephony solution although for simple usage it is a good choice.
Vorteile
Google voice is quick to setup and start receiving calls or text messages. Incoming messages and calls come in quick and the audio quality is very good. For single use, generally it works well.
Nachteile
The phone number choosing is very limited. It is difficult to get a number in an area code you prefer, from my experience. It also does not have a Fax solution although nowadays this may not be a big deal.

As with most Google products, the price is right - Free. We use this as a way to communicate to some of our parishioners via text.

The Google software can interpret multiple texts to multiple individuals as spam. This provides understandable limitations to the use of the product.

Allows Separation From Work
The best value, as it links up with my Google business email and costs me no extra money!
Vorteile
First of all, it's free. Secondly, it has given me the space to separate myself from my business, in a world where we're expected to be available always. Google voice gave me an independent phone number that links up with my cell phone, allowing me to cut costs while maintaining a professional boundary with clients.
Nachteile
If there were a way to notify me that the incoming call was from my Google voice number, that would be ideal. But it doesn't seem to be a function quite yet.

A great rollover voicemail service
I really like the voicemail rollover feature and will continue to use it until the app is no longer supported.
Vorteile
I liked that I could roll my phone's voicemail over to Google Voice in order to save storage space on my device. Also, you can't beat getting a virtual phone number for free.
Nachteile
Sometimes enabling or disabling the voicemail rollover could be tricky to do. I would have to try mulitple times before succeeding.

Google Voice
Overall, I love using this app to contact parents as I can send a text or call just like I could with my cellphone. However, I do not have to worry about sharing my personal number.
Vorteile
Google Voice has been a lifesaver in making parent contacts as I can easily use my phone to contact the parent without having to worry about sharing my personal cell phone number. Then, if a parent calls my Google Voice number, I receive an email telling me of the call and can call the person back at my convenience.
Nachteile
I cannot think of any cons with Google Voice. This software has made my life a lot easier when contacting parents.

We needed a pure web based phone system for calling customers and it met that basic requirement.
Vorteile
It's nice being integrated with our Google workplace suite but it's a really basic solution for calling customers.
Nachteile
Too basic, no auto recording, very slow to load into the browser and the layout of the system wasn't nearly as user friendly as it should be.

I like being able to use Google Voice as a privacy shield for working from home - publishing it on business records and marketing materials especially.
Nachteile
Signing up and trying to find what I needed on the site was such a time-consuming affair, I've dreaded going back in. I wish there were a better message retrieval system than clogging up my emails.

Good app for setting up a "secondary" number
It's good but you also need to keep your Google voice account active, otherwise it will be disabled.

It is free and yet very useful. Help you keep your real number info private in many cases.
Nachteile
It's good for texting, making calls, and receiving text but NOT for receiving calls. The caller would need to wait and listen to a message from Google voice before being able to reach you.

Cheapest for long distance
Vorteile
Google voice has been incredibly helpful to make the absolute cheapest calls to international mobiles or landlines. The interface is clean and easy to use and super easy to lookup contacts in your phone directory. It is also easy to manage credit and reload your balance as long as you have a google account.
Nachteile
Initially the way you dial with Google voice was somewhat foreign to us. It tkes some getting used to but eventually does the exact thing you need at a fraction of the cost.

A fantastic FREE resource
Google voice is a fantastic free option for any small business, start up for budget savvy business. For companies or organizations that don’t need a “real “phone wine but just need something to handle incoming calls, it’s a perfect option.
Vorteile
Google voice is invaluable to our business in that it is a free resource for us to use which helps us be cost conscious in addition to the fact that it is integrated with all of the other Google suite of products which only adds to its value.
Nachteile
My one and only complaint about Google voice is the fact that it is not a “free for life” phone number that you can link to your business. If you don’t have incoming calls after a certain period of time, Google will cancel the phone number.

Great for small businesses and also great protection from spam
I use it for temporary registrations or when I need to give a phone number to a service and don't want to be bombarded with unsolicited promotion offers .

Voice messages can be left on the virtual line you setup .You can also forward them to your email as needed . The call logs are organized and it doesn't take you time to find what you need .
Nachteile
The app can be buggy and "selective" when it comes to when and what kind of notifications you receive . The installation process can be confusing but there are a lot of online tutorials that help .
