I love how easy it is to use. It works just like you own paid for cell service. I’ll Dan even receive confirmation codes. I LOVE GOOGLE VOICE!! If you don’t have it what are you waiting for???

Nachteile

The only thing negative I have to say is that Wi-Fi is 100% necessary. Which is usually not an issue, but things happen. So no Wi-Fi, no phone. If you do t already have a paid cell service provider.

I use Google Voice for their VoIP. It's fabulous! I can be extremely busy juggling call after call. With this feature I'm able to convert my tablet, laptop or even my desktop computer into a telephone. Allowing me to talk to multiple clients,employees or investors at the same time, without any interference.

Occasionally I lose service and drop a call.

Integration with other Google products is a huge plus for me (Android power user). But Google Voice is also very easy for those who may use other products (cough - Apple users - cough). When traveling I find Google voice to be extremely reliable and able to scale quality of call to match my internet speed.

Nachteile

Some of the interface is beginning to show it's age, though I am hopeful they will update this alongside the improvements to other G-Suite products such as gmail. Skype and FB seem to be ahead of the curve, feature wise, and Google voice is not as ubiquitous as those services IMO.

I like the way it is formatted, it is easy to navigate through and join the required business meetings.

I do not like the fact that a lot of scammers use this platform to aid in their cause to use peoples real number and convert them to VoIP number s by using their number in the signup section and getting the victim to text them the confirmation number, hence allowing the scammers to use the real persons number asa coverup and avoid all backlash and investigations.

One of my favorite features of google voice is the ease and cost to use it as a way to communicate withy family. It is easy enough to use even my children can use it.

One of my least favorable things about Google voice is that it sometimes does not have a good connection and the quality of sound is not good.

It's free, easy to setup and you can choose your phone number. It's the best way to mask your real phone number and maintain professionalism if youre on a budget.

In my experience, it was really hard to remove the service and oftentimes the Google Voice number would appear while I was trying to reach my contacts from my real phone number, which was quite annoying and confusing for a lot of people

Google Voice is a great free app to use for communicating with other numbers in the US. It is very easy to use and has a great layout.

The two cons that I feel it has is that if you want to communicate with numbers out of the U.S. you need to pay in order to make those calls. Second, when transcribing voicemails it is hardly ever accurate, which could be frustrating for hearing impaired individuals.

Okay, so I know from both personal use, and from calling people as sales, that it's very effective at keeping unwanted callers out lol I worked as a recruiter and it makes you say your name depending on how it's set up.

It's also free, so cheaper than having a second line.

None. There are no negative features for the product. If you choose to have a second line, or make this your first one, it acts exactly like another phone line.

I really liked the feature that I could call any number internationally regardless they are landline or cell phones.

You can't really buy money to make the calls. Application requires additional steps like getting a virtual phone number, which I do not understand why.

I like most about Google voice is that it's easy to use . Very convenient. You can log in using your Google information. It comes in handy and you can easily make calls right over the internet

The only thing I don't like is that it only works with Google apps... And you cannot call toll free numbers on it

I've used Google Voice mostly for sending texts. I just say out loud what I want to write and the software takes care of the rest. I'm impressed at how accurate or sensitive it is at picking up words. For the most part, it translates most of what I want to say in written form.

Sometimes it might be tricky to use, especially if you're pronunciation is a bit off or if the word you are trying to use is very similar to another one phonetically.

Oy this app! If you don't use it often enough they take your number. Scammers can use it to hijack your cell number. It's slow, sounds lousy, and isn't secure.

The text/ transcription can be pretty far off from what the voicemail says. It's hard to rely on just the transcription, but it does give you an idea.

Google voice was easy to set up and use. During covid and remote learning times I had to work from home a lot and needed to communicate with parents often. I didn't want them having my personal cell phone number so I used Google voice, it gave me a phone number I could share with parents and it gave them a way of communicating with me while keeping my personal cell phone number private.

The only con was that toll free numbers aren't supported.
