Really Frustrating
Frustrating, almost 1 week to setup an account, no support , far from being a serious platform

Data scraping without pain
The easiest platform to just jump in and start solving your problems
Vorteile
1) ease of integration
2) ui where all is easily available
3) maintenance - the fact that containers i use are always up to date made me abandon my own custom scripts
4) magic proxy management - this is the last thing i want to do manually or even think about, and yet it is the most crucial part

Not actually an apify problem, but i have a couple of usecases where i really would have wanted a fast responce which i'm not entirely sure how to achieve now.

Good product which can even be better!
I enjoy working with this product, it has reach documentation and sound developer support, which makes this product stand out. I appreciate the webinars and tutorials to showcase the usage of their new products.
Vorteile
There are a lot options to customize the web crawling and scraping solutions, it is great to see there is a lot of automatization for workflow integration.
Nachteile
The time it takes to run an actor is a major bottleneck(restarting actor every time a request has been made) when working with limited RAM, with new Standby mode I am excited to test whether that can be addressed.

I use many data extraction software but what best about apify is it take less time and have many tools to extract data.

Apify makes data extraction very easy....
Before apify I need lots of time to extract data from web but after using apify scraping very simple and take less time because data that other tools cannot extract is easily extracted by apify.
Nachteile
I don't have any major issue with apify but my customer support experience is not good.....

Apify is an indispensable part of my tech stack. Their platform is both the easiest and most powerful web scraping tool.

Apify is incredibly powerful, yet flexible. There are virtually no limits to what web scraping tools you can build using it.
Nachteile
For non-developers like myself, there is a learning curve. Easier error codes for non-technical users like myself would help me build actors much quicker.

I’ve been using it for work for the past year and it has been a great data base for my scraping tools I need for work. Some were free other with fees but overall it has been a great experience for a really decent price.

Developpers offer a lot of tools for almost everything you need to analyze.

Some tools are way too expensive but developers are the ones to blame.

It's been good. It's one of those rare services that just does what it says it does.
Vorteile
It does what it says it does and, does it well. Well priced and has a good selection of pre-made 'actors', as well as the functionality to create, host and sell your own actors
Nachteile
Sometimes it takes a while for the creator of an actor to reply when reached out to. But, I understand they're users of the site, not staff.

Vorteile
i like how easy it is to extract data and automate workflowd using Apify . Especially when i have to collect clean data from various sources. It is very user friendly. I totally love their code templates that saves me a lot of time in setting up scraping projects.
Nachteile
with lot of options and libraries, it feels a bit overwhelming sometimes. But as i use it more and more, i find it less complicated.

Great SDK for web-data extraction
It's been great working with Apify. We recently switched to it from Scrapy & haven't regret this decision at all.
It's much more performant & more robust against anti-scraping.
Vorteile
The SDK is open-source and very easy to use in our own projects.
Next to that there is solid documentation & an easy to use user-interface.
We like that this software allows us to scrape in JavaScript, the language of the web, as opposed to Python.
Nachteile
We haven't used the fully managed solution much so not much to say about it.
The SDK had some bugs that we had to make PR's for but at least we were able to do so & the team was very responsive in resolving these issues.

Best crawling platform
Apify has great documentation, technical support and also chat support. Their customer support is really great.
Vorteile
We like scaling, easy to use solution and completely outsourced infrastructure.
Nachteile
Pricing plan could be better. Team plan is a huge step in comparison with personal plan. I would prefer a middle small team plan between them.

Definitely works and it's worthy
Generally, I was super well-assisted and the system worked 99% of the time, I have experienced only one outage with the SERP Proxy service in more than 12 months using. Considering the difficulty of scraping google I understand that this is very acceptable.
Vorteile
The proxy feature works very good and the dashboard allows me to watch exactly how I'm spending my money. The marketplace is also very interesting although I haven't used it.
Nachteile
The proxy service doesn't allow me to choose the country for the requests, so the websites that have IP-related restricted access doesn't work with the Apify service.

It was just to experiment and play around, but getting uses to it makes you realize that it is a necessary tool in business.

Great automation platform for web scraping
Overall experience is great I had mostly no issue with the platform. Sometimes I found some actors that were not working out of the box. I use the platform for my hobby projects and it works very well for my usecase.
Vorteile
It is easy to use, offers great SDK for easier and faster development and is easy to add to your automated workflow.
Nachteile
I miss some middle ground in the pricing between Free and Personal plan. I find the Personal plan too expansive and would love something like Hobby plan which would be cheaper but still offered some of the paid features.
