Very user-friendly, you are also able to write your own scrapers and publish them with the Apify CLI, which is simple.

Great! I liked the Facebook Post scraper actor and their costumer support.

Get the data you need from any source
We used Apify to extract scientific articles from our affiliaties in an automated way for reporting and publishing. It was fast and spot on.
Vorteile
Configuring an actor and obtaining the data was an efficient process, and we obtained the required information easily.
Nachteile
Proper configuring and extraction requires an user with a certain degree of technical knownledge. They might reason on adding a few more preconfigured examples or tutorials.

I especially appreciate the wide range of easy setup options, the large number of crawlers and the quality support.
Nachteile
In some ways, it's the price. In particular, the subscription pricing policy does not suit my usecase. I would have preferred a program with an unlimited period of validity of the credit.

Apify is excellent to get databases based on webscrapping
Excellent. Of al the webscrapping tools I have used or try to use, Apify was the best solution.
Vorteile
I loved how easy it was to understand and to work with. I have a limited knowledge of coding so I needed a solution easy to manage.
Nachteile
The pricing was a bit confusing. I wanted to buy more memory to get a bigger database but I think that even If I bought a month more, my data transfer was way too high due to using the trial. I didn't understood that.

Great for users at every skill level
Apify is excellent. While its aim seems to be focused on B2B, I found its tools to be the best option as an undergrad researcher. Friendly customer support at every level indicates to me that Apify not only cares about customers, but also about its employees.
Vorteile
Apify wins in my book based on its excellent customer support and its effective and proven actors. I am a researcher whose specialty is not programming, so having an interface that was easy to understand and work with as someone who has only passing experience with the backend was vital. The live chat was an excellent tool for me to get help from a pro when I ran into any trouble at all, too.
Nachteile
I did sometimes run into small hiccups based on a mismatch between my input and the scraped output. CS let me know that one specific bug I ran into would be addressed by the end of the week, but if I had to list a con, that would be it.
