I like that when I first downloaded it, it provided optional tutorials to familiarize myself with the environment. As someone who spent months trying to figure out visual studio and other IDEs, I really appreciated the support.

So far, I haven't found anything that I really dislike. I am using the free version and so I don't have the same capabilities as other employees that have the paid version but I expect that.

Definitely Code formatting is the one thing I like the most about PyCharm, this saves a lot of time. The download and setup process is also very easy.

Well it is heavier than other applications of their kind, therefore sometimes it is very slow. I also like how Jupiter is designed there, it made me less it use.

Having used IntelliJIDEa and Android Studio a bit, I've really come to appreciate the features that Jetbrains packs into their IDEs. Other than Google Apps Script, I probably write in Python the most often. Python is such that you don't *need* an IDE to work with it, but the virtual environment with command prompt and debugging is helpful to run projects from one location, rather than switching back and forth between editors and command windows. Syntax highlighting and code completion are a big help, too!

Nachteile

I don't love that there aren't more tiers to the pricing. At my level, I mostly write what I call "weird little utilities" to help me at work -- I'm not a 'real' developer -- $200/year isn't bad when considered month-to-month, but for something that is effectively a luxury to help me with a thing I do on the side of my job, that's a big number. I would be willing to use a lower-tier, community version (similar to IntelliJ) for less money.

An outstanding interface and ease of use makes this software most favorable to me. High quality facility like debugging and plugins makes it fastest from all other IDE and easier. It's accuracy really appreciable.

Too much space, ram, rom and processor power requirement creates problem for user like me. Sometimes, it suddenly stopped and it's really disturbing. Over expansive, is another factor of disliking this.

Personally, I love all Jetbrains IDEs and this one is no exception. When I switched to PyCharm, there was minimum amount of getting to know a "new IDE", because I've been already using similar others. Obviously, this one contains few features specific for Python development nuanses or tools generally used.

Nachteile

The only issue with these IDEs is, when someone runs into it for the first time, it feels quite complicated and complex. It also takes a lot of time to master all functionalities and features included.

It's a bit heavy on OS resources and there are random crashes sometimes, but that's not a big issue.

I starting my coding journey with this lovely IDE and I found it extremely user friendly and adaptive that I changed my mind about coding. The organization of your python or django projects is so efficient that you won't be getting confused with the project structure. Rapid detection of wrong syntax and required blank lines made my coding stress fall to zero. The flexibility offered according the different tastes of people for coding interfaces like fonts, size etc makes this IDE get one step further in terms of user friendliness.

Nachteile

In the console area, there are enough interactive options to confuse a newbie coder to play in this huge coding ground but that actually counts as a plus as well because after a while, the newbies would soon be getting attached to the awesomeness of PyCharm that they will love use each and every feature.

In my opinion, PyCharm is well designed. I decided to use this software to have a better overview of my code, as a recommendation from a coworker. I really apreciate his advice because the software make me work more confortable and organized. Also PyCharm have some tools to find errors and helps you to correct them. I also like the style and colours, very nice for me.

Nachteile

I felt lost in some cases because I spent to much time finding tools or fast commands to run my code. In my point of view I have not spent enough time neither to have a better understand.

I liked the code suggestion a lot. Error identification and correction are easy compared with other IDEs.Adding other packages and libraries is too easy.Installation and configuration can be done even if you don't have any advanced programming knowledge.

There are plenty of online and offline IDEs available for python. Among them, Pycharm is the best one. Ease in using terminal, importing extensions and typing ahead makes developers' life easier. Comparing the default idle there is a lot of code checking capability available there.

The software is available in both free and paid versions. Installing this in the Linux-based system is a little harder. Lags in performing huge codes in the low-end models.
