Occasionally, for reasons of poor internet connection and other issues related to integration between systems, one or another note ends up being duplicated, which takes time to understand what happened and eliminate duplication, but it is common. when using a lot of environments with multiple installations.

I use Evernote personally for about when it first emerged on Iphone and Ipad. Since then it went up and down and donw and up, it was a Rollercoaster Ride. Sometimes I came close to quiting, the again I carried on with it. Everything became more severe when I started to invite Colleagues and Friends for personal and professional Projects. a great Boost always was - most knew the product and had next to zero animosities or better to put it the other way round: Even the not-so-much bunch of people were okay in colaborating via Evernote. On Top of it, it was available on their favourite Platform (no one had to switch form Android to iOS or vici versa). Everyone knew how to use the editor, things didn't look to pretty at the start but then, after a while, like a game you get the hang of after a couple of rounds, it got better and better. Tables, Images, even embeded Videos. It all got together. Also we could choose which data would be encrypted and which was okay to stay unencrypted. Thinsg synced fine and we also had an integrated chat. Basically, Evernote had covered a lot of the needs we had as a team as wel as a band of friends in private Projects. The Features you require are there and they are easy to use.
Also, the team behind evernote is quick regarding upcoming Platform changes and usually Evernote is up to the newest iterration of the Operting System it runs on verry quickly.

Nachteile

Speaking of the features which are there...as it is often the case with growing platforms, there are some which are just not...my type of thing. Document templates might be something for some people, but not for us. Also, the Features are not homogenous on the different platforms. Thats right, if you want to do search-and-replace you better do not try to do it on a mac. Right Features like this are missing. Inviting People also can get a real pain in the arm in case they use Evernote privately without a busines account, as can the abominable dialogue for sharing notes on mac. It is absolutely clear that evernote is incredibly ambitious by supplying native clients for iOS, Android, Windows, MacOs PLUS a Webfrontend. This realy is awesome but it leads to raged edges when you are power user, save a team of such working cross Platform un complex projects.

I love that this platform is so simple and the search is so powerful. It is the place I store literally anything I could ever want to remember later, and the information is completely unrelated and a mess in there, but Evernote's search feature makes it completely functional with no effort required on my part to organize the data.

Although it enables backup, its limitations are that it is only able to export all contents to a local device; it would be great to have either its cloud backup system. Additionally, as the number of files grows, it can become difficult to manage and access them.

This software has more bugs and problem while using it from smartphone as it keep on crashing when i am trying to add a new note to the application. Other than that, i also keep getting error trying to synchronize my note from smartphone to the desktop.

The platform has allowed our team to stay up-to-date with our company taskings and client services that we offer, although team members work from three locations across 11 time zones. Having a tool like this to keep everyone abreast is essential to our business.

The set-up and navigation are very easy to grasp, and the tool works flawlessly for us. I brought the platform to the company and all the team members love using it. I use it daily as does every team member.

It also integrates well with some of the other automation tools that we use to streamline processes that are in place for our operations and we have had no issues with having data exchanged between the platforms.

For any company looking for ways to automate their operation, this is a must-have tool. I highly recommend giving it a try so they can see for themselves just how useful it is for their business. It has helped us immensely.

It's simple to use and setup. There's no unnecessary functionality or things in the way of the user yet it's powerful enough to categorize and maintain a long term personal log of notes. It helps me get things done.

It lacks in exporting functionality. When I want to take my notes to the next level, to write a longer or more formal document, then it lacks enough functionality to export it to, Word, Google Docs or something like that. Also, launch times can sometimes be a bit on the slow side.

Once something goes into Evernote, it's there forever (unless you delete it). You have unlimited space, with the only limit being the amount you can upload each month (and it's generous).

I was able to completely digitize every document and photo in my home within one month's limit and I wasn't even close to going over.

Evernote offers great apps for all platforms (except Linux), and also has a very nice web app. You can do everything you might want from any Evernote interface available to you.

Nachteile

The applications are sometimes very different from each other. The desktop application has a totally different experience than the web application. The mobile experience is somewhere in between, but that's to be expected.

If I forget to properly rename scanned documents, sometimes they sort of fall into a black hole where they're in Evernote but nearly impossible to find via searching, and looking manually for them would take a long time.

Evernote business provide a lot of unique and interesting features like it is possible to search the document with the text it contains be it a pdf or an image. Version control is also an important feature which enables restoring to previous versions if something goes wrong with the latest one. It is easy to create repositories at one single centralized place so that all the information is accessible to relevant team members. It also gets integrated with other Apps we use like iMessages and few others. Reminder is also a nice addition to the feature set which can help not to miss an important note related task.

The document editing functionality is limited and is only available with the desktop app which somehow takes away the advantage of doing things on the go. Also, the document hierarchy system is less intuitive than a normal notes structure which makes users take a longer time to get used to it.Also, security is an issue with Evernote. There is no way to enable 2 way authentication for access to Desktop version or restrict access with a password.

Evernote is my best digital notebook. I've used a lot of similar notes software but none comes close to its smooth and easy usage. If you ever want to document a note in a highly organized way and have access to it anytime online then Evernote is the way to go. Apart from my business, I use Evernote to save important short digits and note so that I can have access to it anytime and anywhere. All I simply do is to log in either from my phone or pc Online and it will be there. I have important pieces of information saved for years that I don't remember but can still check on it in Evernote today. Also, one of the best features of Evernote is that it has a well-organized interface. It keeps my library of notes in an orderly fashion.

Nachteile

The major con of Evernote is its text editor. The text editor sometimes lags and I often find myself making a lot of corrections after typing out a long document. This has been a major problem for me, so I rarely use it for long writes-ups. So sometimes I still work offline and copy the whole document to the text editor to save my work online.

I feel like I am doing 5% of what this software can do. Mainly, I wanted to keep client notes in case I ever needed to reference them. Since I like to take notes long hand, I needed something that could scan my writing. In my dream world, my handwritten notes would turn to typed ones but at least in Evernote I can search them. I upgraded to the business version so I could also scan in my business cards.

Nachteile

You always feel like a bit of an idiot when you have to take a whole class to figure out how to use a piece of software. Yay for a paperless office but not sure how to organize all this stuff without it turning into digital clutter. I was also initially confused about having to click the sync button when my notes I took on one computer were not on the other computer. I haven't even started using tags or integrating my scanned business cards into my CRM.

I can check Evernote on every device I own, including my laptop, iPad and Samsung Note. The notes update within seconds of being created. Now that I have the paid version, I can upload everything. I've been slowly moving docs from my computer's hard drive to Evernote. It's been much easier to use/access material than iCloud.

The reason I upgraded was because I wanted to be able to annotate PDFs. But that function didn't work the way I intended. Instead of printing with the annotations on the document itself, it prints the annotations as a separate document from the PDF - which was useless for my purposes.

I love how easily you can make quick to do lists, take down notes, reminders and add images etc to them. It is such a great organizing tool. It is also really great at collaborating with others in your group/team. You can work on documents together, leave comments and notes and just be so much more effective. Being able to put your stuff on the cloud also helps you clean up the clutter on your computer. And of course once its on the cloud, you can access it on the go.

Nachteile

Its not cheap. I am not sure if it would make sense for small sized businesses or small teams to use this. I think its worth the money but if you are crunched for budget, you can get by on some cheaper options.

Evernote is without a doubt the software that has most revolutionized my way of working in recent years. Since always, I juggled with files and their backups, texts stored as word files, emails, ...
It was everywhere.
Now it's all centralized and I'm saving a lot of time. Plus, since everything is automatically backed up in the cloud and synchronized with my phone, I don't have to worry about losing data.

Being a bit paranoid, I've always liked to make several local and cloud backups of everything I use.
I regret that Evernote does not allow Pcloud (which has requested it many times) to open its API to allow users of 2 software to save all Evernote content automatically in Pcloud.
Facebook, Googldrive, Dropbox, Instagram and onedrive have allowed Pcloud to do so. How about Evernote?

I've used Evernote for as long as I can remember now and couldn't live without it. Serves as central repository of all my information. It's by far best feature is search. At anytime I can search by location of note, PDF texts, etc. I always find what I'm looking for!

The desktop and mobile apps have always been bulky and slow. The in-note editing might be good for some people but I always found it messy. Similar to Microsoft Word, it always tries to do "smart" formatting but it's never right for what I want. The formatting was simultaneously too limited and too generous - finding the right size and color to match something that you pasted in was nearly impossible.

The folder organization system is better than it used to be, but I still found it lacking. Wish it had more robust sharing and nesting options.

I love the different notebooks! I think back to middle school when we had those HUGE notebooks that had separators. But now we can create as many separators as we want! Also, the search functionality is on point, if I want to search a specific key term it brings up every single note that could correspond. It's brilliant.

I started using it as a note application and then realized collaborative functionality and implemented in my organization to use it as a team. It's good to keep the your notes and all interactions with collaborators in a single place. I have my notes dated back to 2012 and I still use some of the info there.
I usually use it to store ideas and then later go over the idea list and filter them.

When a colleague leaves a comment via chat, the reminder function is not properly showing that there is a recent comment.
