Na jarenlang trouw klant te zijn, is mijn abonnement zonder enige waarschuwing omgezet naar een Teams-abonnement, enkel omdat ik ooit één keer met iemand heb samengewerkt aan een uitnodiging. En dan krijg ik nog een mail ook waarin ze beweren dat ik een "voordeel" krijg omdat ik al zo lang klant ben, terwijl ik nu ineens 70 euro meer moet betalen! Dit is absurd.

Ze hebben zonder mijn toestemming mijn abonnement omgezet naar een duurder Teams-abonnement, terwijl ik altijd een Pro-abonnement heb gehad. Dit is duidelijk te zien op al mijn facturen. En nu moet ik mijn abonnement opzeggen en zelf een nieuw abonnement afsluiten? Dit is hun fout, niet de mijne!

I love having options! Canva has so many templates and pictures to choose from it makes creating a quality product much easier. I love how other share their product, so you have different visions to work with when coming up with your own.

There isn't much I don't love about Canva. It truly is a quality product. I do wish the document feature held more quantity of pages. I created a document once and it was over 100 pages. It capped me out at 100, so I had to adjust my content over two separate documents. Not a huge deal, but would be nice to not have a cap.

It needs more video background replacement and also more layering. At least 3 layers: background, middle and foreground to add an illusion of depth. Also maybe more 3d background space allowing some illusion of movement like a green screen?

One of the main reason because of which I like Canva is it's vast template library. There is every kind of template available.
It is easy to use because of its smooth interface.
It's basic feature are free of cost which was one of the reason to try it.
There is a collaboration feature in which multiple people can edit the design on the same file. I use Canava frequently about once a week.
The customer support is helpful and usually replies within 3 days.

Canva requires the internet connection all the time because of which I cannot do any task offline.
It lack in text formatting options.
On exporting the final design from Canva, there is often a drop in poster quality.

The program has a ton of templates. The customization is tremendous with being able to change colors to match your brand. It's very easy to create cohesive, professional looking marketing material. They offer free pro accounts to non-profits so we can have multiple users and have full access to pro features. I love being able to share projects with co-workers and download in multiple formats.

I wish there was more flexiblity with adding guidelines. I was creating tri-folds and wanted to add another guideline and was only able to have the tri-fold guides.

Canva is hands down the easiest photo editor, presentation maker, greeting card maker, invitation maker, etc. Just about anything that you can think of can be made on Canva easily and quickly more features are added pretty much monthly.

The background remover is good, but if you have to make a revision, it’s not as good as Photoshop. Pro is a little expensive in my opinion since most of the features that they offer on pro can be done for free elsewhere. For instance, the PNG’s and stock photos that they offer can easily be downloaded from different websites for free. The background remover is also a paid feature but personally, I think that Photoshop background remover is a bit better but of course photoshop is pricey and not feasible for everyone. I just think Canva pro is expensive for what it offers. The app is clunky but not horrible, use the desktop.

Something I struggle with on Canva is aligning my images on the page. If you move an image even slightly, it can get out of place and not be aligned with the other images, and it can be frustrating. I wish there were other ways to keep the images in place or align them to be the exact same size/place as other images.

I've been using Canva for almost a decade, for everything from creating social media post images and Pinterest pins to producing professional-quality logos and printables for my online parenting blog/related ventures. Upgrading to the Pro plan was well worth the money because of the additional graphic/image options and added features, such as the ability to set/save custom brand palettes, fonts, etc. Once you know how to use it, it's super-easy to generate professional looking results every time, even without a lot of design background - so easy, I've taught my kids and their peers to use it for school and personal projects. The constant addition of new features (easy ability to curve text, background remover tool, and even AI generative capabilities) ensure it keeps growing in value over time.

Nachteile

The only downside to Canva is that it has a somewhat steep learning curve if you're learning how to use it for the first time on your own. It's not as intuitive as I would like, or as other graphic creation programs I've used; when I've had kids use it for the first time without much guidance from me, they have had the same experience. However, once you know how to use it, it's a powerful tool that delivers fast results.
