The best small-business email automation
Drip is the best product that I've used for small-business email automation.
Vorteile
Drip's workflow automation is the easiest way for small businesses like mine to create sophisticated email campaigns and marketing sequences. The automation workflow is extremely powerful, and allows multiple branches and entry points. It's possible to personalize and target subscribers with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
Nachteile
The workflow interface can easily become overwhelming as your workflow becomes more complex. It's not easy to test workflows, especially when actions span multiple days. Sometimes you have to put together steps and hope that they work as expected.

Brilliant functionality if you're techie enough
It's worth digging into again, its capabilities are probably the best out there if you can get your head around it.

It's pretty techie. And a really vile colour scheme. I can overlook the colours but the techie-ness has been a barrier for me.

Best automation platform for SMB
Drip is, in my opinion, the best marketing automation platform for the SMB. I've worked with more automation platforms than I can count on one hand, and Drip simply takes something that's supposed to be complex and makes it super easy. We now use Drip with most of our SMB clients.

Cool Features.... If they work and you can get any customer service.
Frustrating. Some features work well, the pricing is decent, and it is easy to use. However, I can't deploy my automated drip campaign because I have one little problem but can't get anyone to help in a decent amount of time.
Vorteile
Pretty intuitive and easy to set up workflows. They have a lot of integrations with other software which makes it easy to import contacts.
Nachteile
Their customer service is pretty much non-existent. If you have a problem, be prepared to wait for days by email. We have had an issue with SMS and I don't know if it will ever get fixed since I can't seem to be able to talk to anyone.

It’s ease of use when it comes to fully automated workflows, when you delve into it, Drip becomes an extremely powerful marketing tool
Nachteile
The default page you see when you log in is pretty useless, in the sense that it shows you three stats that have no actual meaning for us. Maybe it’s just the way we are using Drip, but I don’t have any need to see the monthly website visitors when we are checking that in Google Analytics anyway

Versatile Email Marketing Automation

It is very easy to build a marketing automation sequence with several steps. You can connect Drip to a lot of other services as well.
Nachteile
Granted it's an email marketing service so it makes sense that the email address is the most important piece of data; but you can't have a record in there that does not have an email address. Therefore it's not good as a CRM, although Drip doesn't claim to be a CRM, for that you want to connect it with another service.

Full Featured Autoresponder does it all!
Drip does what I need it to do. There are some integrations that I wish worked better, but I am not sure if it is on the Drip side or the other services. Overall though, it works well and requires very little input from me after the initial setup for a campaign.
Vorteile
Many features are easy to use and they work very well without any input from me. The main console is easy to understand and the knowledge-base is full of helpful articles. Tagging and custom fields allow subscribers to be segmented with ease. Support is top-notch.
Nachteile
The workflows can tend to get a bit difficult to set up and manage. Integrating custom fields with Leadpages could use improvement.

Nice and cheap to start out. Then gets more and more expensive. If you constantly clean your database you'll like it. The live chat is really helpful when starting out
Nachteile
Where to begin. Super rigid software that sits on the line of inflexibility and looking awful out of the box. The reply tracking doesn't work, the email open tracking doesn't work. Weekly support outages.

Powerful & Simple to use (like the iPhone)
I've searched long & wide for this. It's not perfect, but it's the best one out there for email marketers.
Vorteile
Drip is what I've been looking for a long time. I went through many different options before I got here and, so far, Drip is magic. The automation and the features are great. But what brought me to Drip is the ability to write emails sequences all in one screen. The ability to have an overview of all the emails in the sequence and just click any one to make all the edits, is invaluable. This is why I'm going to stick around.
Nachteile
Drip is a powerful and yet simple email marketing software. It doesn't have the community and automation marketplace like Active Campaign. If that's what you're looking for then Drip is not for you.

Drip has a visual workflow creating a very user-friendly interface. It also offers email templates and generates installation codes. It makes marketing automation easier to grasp for newcomers. Pricing is also very reasonable.
Nachteile
While a lot of the process are user-friendly and simple to follow certain workflows can be intimidating, and the knowledge base isn't very extensive. I found that particular options were hidden away in menus. It took some time to teach myself the ins and outs, but it was worth it. Customer support was beneficial, but depending on what membership level you have, the response time varies.

The lovechild of ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit
ActiveCampaign frowns upon using their service for affiliate marketing. I understand that there are spammers out there, but there are increasingly more entrepreneurs and small businesses that build their business on affiliate marketing. Drip seems to understand this while also offering an amazing product.
Vorteile
Over the years, I've used multiple email service providers and am passionate about being able to appropriately tag and track a customer's activity online. Drip offers amazing automations that can be as simple or complex as you'd like them to be. It is essential to be able to create a tag immediately whenever someone signs up for your email list. Drip offers the ability to develop a lead scoring while also implementing tags and automations. It is simple to use, easy to set-up, and delivers where you need it to.
Nachteile
While Drip is a partner of Leadpages, ConvertKit actually has the ability to craft a landing page directly within the software. Although Convertkit has this built in, Drip's integration with Leadpages has a far better end result, but it is an additional expense.

I like Drip
We needed a marketing automation and simple CRM app. Drip has handled these requirements acceptably.
Vorteile
Drip was easy to set up once I got past some of the non-intuitive features. Their help documentation and responsive support made a huge impact on my ability to get started.
Nachteile
Poor reporting capabilities, very limited and some of the reports are confusing or misleading.

I've had to tweak the templates somewhat to be to my liking.
Also, it's not as friendly to small lists as other providers, but I do find the investment to be well worth it.

Primarily, it's easy to use. If you don't want to have to take an advanced course in email marketing, Drip will serve your purposes. Writing the emails is easy. Setting up the options is a snap. Overall, I have found it easy to use and popular for all services that I need it to integrate with.
Nachteile
I wish I could tell you one thing, but overall, I do like most of the features and the interface. It's clean and easy to use. Maybe more templates would be useful.

My overall experience is that this software allows me to quickly support my clients and blog readers and I prefer this to my previous platform which involved monkeys!

Email marketing at a great price with functionality only limited by your creativity.
Drip allows you to set up multiple accounts at no extra charge. So long as you're under the total number of contacts for your tier, you can manage several businesses under one roof. While there are a ton of features I love about Drip, this alone was worth the switch.
Vorteile
I love the flexibility. Coming from other software that relies on lists, it was a breath of fresh air to work with custom fields and tags, powerful segmenting options and more advanced features like lead scoring that used to only be available in software packages considerably more expensive.
Nachteile
There is a learning curve, but it's gotten lower over the years as the software has progressively improved. As Drip moved from text-only to bringing out a WYSIWYG editor, it didn't always play nice with corporate (i.e. Outlook) inboxes that like to strip styles from email. They have been implementing workarounds for this as well.

In-depth and personalized
I've had a great experience using their CRM platform. It's given me a better understanding of what my clients value and it's allowed me to create deeper segmentation and personalize their marketing track.
Vorteile
From what I've sen, Drip is the best CRM for creating personalized marketing tracks and providing in-depth segmentation. Their multichannel touchpoints help me to maximize the contact I have with clients and make sure I'm hitting them where they'll actually see me.
Nachteile
I haven't had a problem with their program. The user interface is simple and clean, their workflows are easy to map and customize. The platform integrates well with others.

I was able to put together my email list and apply tags so my marketing messages are relevant to the people I want to speak with.
Vorteile
I think that the customer support does a great job at letting you know when they will and will not be available - there will be popups that let you know when you can chat. Chat is also pretty responsive.
Nachteile
I think that there are a lot of features, which means there is a lot to take in. Some more video tutorials or how-to guides on how to use Drip would be helpful.

Easy to use yet highly comprehensive
Behavioral email campaigns are often complicated to setup with other softwares, however with Drip it's really really simple. Tracking works flawless, triggers and automations never fail. It really helps us to build complicated email marketing campaigns, yet without spending too much time as it is quick and simple to setup.
Vorteile
Drip provides an incredibly easy-to-use and intuitive interface that is suitable for both novice and advanced email marketers. It provides all the necessary features and more, is easy to set up, and offers everything you need for your email campaign. The software was recommended to us by my good friend Andre Chaperon, who's is arguably the most significant email marketing specialist in the internet marketing industry, and so far lived up to every expectation.

I don't really have any cons honestly, the software works perfectly for our needs.

I just signed up for Drip last week and have had a horrible experience so far.
Vorteile
At first glance I liked how easy Drip was to use and the automation and integration features it provided at no cost.
Nachteile
First off, my account was banned after just a few days of signing up because I haven't purchased an email account through my domain name, which I plan on doing, but didn't realize my Drip account would be banned before doing so. Secondly, I contacted support yesterday about this and have yet to hear any response. Thirdly, it would've been nice to know this would have been the case so some of the sequences I transferred over from ConvertKit weren't unable to accessed by me.

Drip is excellent, except the support team takes ages to reply
I love everything in Drip, but the support team takes ages to reply (From 1 day to 7 days!!) . They desperately need to work on this, if they are serious about staying in the business.

Drop Ecommerce CRM is the Best B2C CRM available today!
Overall great experience, it's allowed us to expand our offering from a standard e-commerce site, to full-on marketing pipeline implementations.
Vorteile
I've only managed to work on Drip Ecommerce in a trial period, but so far it blows every other CRM out of the water. It's purely designed to work well with Ecommerce websites, so you can quickly integrate it with your platform and start marketing like a true professional ecom business!
Nachteile
So far we love the software and have no dislikes for it. We recommend it strongly for eCommerce websites looking to expand their marketing efforts.

I moved from MailChimp to Drip and am learning as I work.
The support doesn't just teach me about Drip, but about the email marketing process.
Vorteile
The support -- weekly seminars, lots of videos-- is great. Several times a support tech worked through a process with me on the phone, and I know that whenever I get confused, that option is available.
Nachteile
I find the terminology a bit confusing, campaign, list, broadcast, form-- these all work together, but they're titled almost as if they are different categories. Everything seems a bit cumbersome because the titles seem counterintuitive.

Great product!
Great product at a great price for someone with a smallish email list
Vorteile
I like Drip b/c it's easy to learn and use and the customer service is very helpful. They often respond with personalized videos on how to solve my issue or sometimes they just fix the problem for me if I ask so that I don't have to do it at all.

Simple way to create a sale funnel
I really like the support with Drip - usually not more that a day to get things answered and resolved.
Vorteile
I really like the the drag and drop functionality and visual approach to creating a followup system. I also like the fact it works well with Zapier as I have it set to detect sales from my cart and then send the customer into another sequence of emails.
Nachteile
There are just a few limitations but you can get around them with apps like Zapier.

I'm using Drip for more than email. I'm using it across my customer's journey and interactions with my brand and that lets me know when they're ready to receive more communication or special offers from me.

You can do a LOT with Drip. The workflow actions are vast and the visual builders are really awesome.
Nachteile
Still feels really "techy". There's a lot of steps to complete to add Rules, Tags, and Actions. I feel like I need to back out of where I'm at regularly to go back and do one more thing elsewhere. It just feels clumsy sometimes.
And it doesn't function very well on mobile.

I absolutely love all the features that allow me to automate the majority of my tasks. Drip is incredibly user friendly and very intuitive. It thinks of things I didn't even realize and suggests them to me. Also, the tutorials are incredibly clear and helpful.

We love using Drip
We've really enjoyed using Drip on our platform and have seen an increase in conversion since implementing it.
Vorteile
I was most impressed by the sales and customer support team at Drip. When we first got the system set up their team was responsive and helpful, eating their own dog food and communicating with us through the drip chat tool. When the team didn't know about an error, they quickly connected with their dev team on it and had a response to us by the end of the day. They are a truly wonderful team to work with.

Drip has become one of the worst CRM
All they want is money. They even charge me twice within 3 days.
I’m making my complaint.

Bad support (can take 7 days to receive an answer, and they reply with another dumb answer rather than a solution).
Pricing is a scam.
Integration with Elementor and WooCommerce is extremely bad.

Very capable, but complex and time-consuming to setup properly, which was the main hurdle for us in migrating over to Drip, however it's great functionality will hopefully make all the effort worthwhile.

Migrating over from Mailchimp, this offering is infinitely more functional and will allow us to implement more automated marketing efforts.
Tracking subscribers across multiple platforms through official integrations or by utilizing Zapier makes the system even more powerful.
Filtering subscribers to target them for cross-selling our various products/services is incredibly powerful.
Nachteile
Setup is very complex and it takes quite a while to get things really setup and working properly.
Support is sometimes a bit slow in responding.

Beautiful emails made easy
Drip has allowed us to interact with our subscriber base like no other. The statistical information given is also a huge help. We love it and will continue to use for some time.
Vorteile
The ease of customization made it possible for us to create just about anything we wanted.
Nachteile
Campaigns are hard to set up on the fly. I would like to be able to add an email to a campaign at anytime without interupting the campaign. Its a guessing game if you send an email out 1 week and the next email has to be sent on a random time variable instead of immediately or with the option to schedule.

Love Drip!
Drip has made it easier for me to reach my customers where they are and in the way they want to be comunicated with.

Love Drip...easy for beginners
Vorteile
We just started using this with one client and it was super easy to explain how everything worked to the client (who doesn't really understand marketing). It also integrates with Shopify which is convenient. It also allows you to build your own customer segments with a point system which is very cool.
Nachteile
I haven't found issues yet. I didn't love the layout of their actual website when choosing Drip.

Really great lightweight marketing automation
I am really impressed with drip. I've tried about 10 different email service providers including the really expensive marketing automation ones and drip is still my favorite. Beautiful UI, very intuitive, fantastic support, and a great value.
