About Acronis Cyber Backup
full and satisfactory experience of use, however having found other vendors offering solutions with equivalent functionality at a fraction of the cost, I have opted to switch (just a question of cost).

we are definitely talking about a market leader in backup solutions; few vendors can match it in terms of functionalities and capabilities.
Nachteile
costs; due to costs this vendor is not an alternative for customers with low budgets. if lower costs were offered, it would certainly be a recommendation for any type of case in backup requirements.

Expensive, but effective.
Vorteile
Acronis is very good for what it does -- it takes backups quickly; the backups are easy to manage, and it offers all of the basic features you'd expect if you came from a legacy solution like BackupExec.
Nachteile
Sometimes... it just acts weird. I've had to have support come in and run scripts against our backup database several times in the last few years, because it just gets in a weird funk (for example, showing "next start" for some backups as being in the past, or perpetually showing a task as "running" even though it completed weeks ago. Support is quick to help, though, and solves the problem every time.

Nachteile
Sifting through their support site can be a bit much when looking for a specific issue or article. Clean that up a bit and they will get an extra star

Good and packed with features backup software
Its really good and highly adanced backup software, if you can afford it, then i can recommend it. For me it's too much for backup software.
Vorteile
Acronis is definitly advance backup software with a lot of features. It does support almost every if not every platform you are probably using. You can start a copy of your machine directly from backup if you are in a hurry situation.
Nachteile
To be honest, its the price, I think its to high.

Acronis Cyber is so easy & effective
Vorteile
It came preloaded with a portable hard driver I purchased and was super easy to install & set up. It works flawlessly and I back up my entire pc each week to ensure I don't lose files or images that can't be replaced. It doesn't take much space on my pc nor does it seem to require much memory to run effectively - you won't even realize it is there!
Nachteile
I don't have any dislikes at this time. I've been using it for over a year and have zero complaints to register about the product.

For me the most important program ever
Vorteile
Due to frequent changes in the software, such as Updates and new installations or even the risk of viruses make it absolutely necessary to make regular backups. I have been using Acronis for many years and have never been disappointed When I had to restore the system it worked great! I like it best that you can search the backups at any time and copy data from it. Thus one can repair small problems also on the fast. The possibility to restore the backup also on changed hardware or to integrate own drivers round out the whole still.
The rescue media has worked on every computer so far and is regularly updated with new features. Almost every year under the Extras menu you will also find new functions such as system integration or tools from third-party manufacturers. If you want to be on the safe side, you can also use the Try & Deside function to undo system changes immediately. The backups can even be converted into a virtual machine via detours and integrated in Virtual Box, which allows you to try everything without risk.
All in all a must have for me!
Nachteile
Some years ago there was the possibility to buy a Plus version. In this one got additional futures. This was later abolished and the futures were so available. For some reason, parts of it did not exist one or two years later. That was not enjoyable then. In the meantime, the best futures are back and everything is fine!

Acronis backup - value for money
Overall I think this software is every bit worth the money it costs because if you don't have a backup then it will definitely cost you more to recover the data and maybe you may never be able to recover the data. Apps can always be installed, but imagine losing all precious family photos and videos.
Vorteile
What I like most about this software is the capability to make hot backup. Not long ago, I had problems with my laptop and I had to send it to the manufacturer and since I had Acronis backup I was able to restore my data and apps after I got my laptop back. This software will save a lot of trouble and money in case something goes wrong with laptop/PC.
Nachteile
Sometimes, when doing cold backup this software does not recognize my external hard drive. There are also times when mounting a backup as a drive takes a few attempts which could be frustrating.

Perfect for backing up from cloud platforms or even physical servers. Works as a great backup situation or even for imaging purposes. Support is always helpful and can work through issues over the phone or a virtual meeting.
Nachteile
Interface can be a little confusing at times with a lot of options on the screen, interface also freezes from time to time when using it.

Acronis imaging
I love using Acronis to backup my desktop to my NAS and also to create images of computers that I am working on.
Vorteile
I like how easy and quick it is to make an image of a computer. I also REALLY like the universal restore feature, this is great for restoring a system on dissimilar hardware.
Nachteile
The one con I can think of is that in order to explore an image you have created, you must have the Acronis software installed on your computer to do so. Windows cannot open a .tib file on its own.

A great backup solution for everything.
Vorteile
The product is very easy to use, the everyday check of the backup is very clear. Need a specific file? No problems ! Check the backup and restore it with ease. Multiple backup location is easy too.
Nachteile
There not much cons about acronis. The cloud plan is a bit expensive, and you can't really have a FTP plan as easy as the cloud plan but it's worth.

Great Backup, When You Know How!
I require backup software that is consistently reliable, yet offers the flexibility to backup my entire computer system, including system files. Then, I want to easily restore any of my backup file versions as required, especially if I purchase new computers that need the same configuration as my existing ones. Crucially, if any of my computers should break beyond repair, I want to use my backup files to restore on any new computers.
Acronis, delivers on the above. I am very appreciative for this and have had cause to use these features. I am accustomed to a backup routine and do this weekly. I keep three generations of backup. Acronis has a great feature of validating each backup that, I presume checks each file for errors. Comforting to know when your data is important.
Vorteile
Acronis has an extensive suite of backup features, with a myriad of options. You will find all that you need from backing up all of your hard drive to selected files. You can backup to an external drive or to the cloud, you decide. Your backup files are available whenever you require, for the inevitable disaster, when you will be thankful you backed up regularly. Its one of the few backup software that actually backs up your entire computer system. Very useful if you have a complete breakdown or need to restore to a new computer.
Nachteile
At first glance, the software can appear daunting to the novice. The Menu looks clean and simple, yet you look around, bemused, because you don't really know what to do. The instructions are not good. I found my way around, more, trial and error. Discovering the features, by exploring the Menu options and reading the prompts. Initially, it took over hours of my time. Now I know what I am doing, I think the software is great. However, if I go on holiday and come back to Acronis after a period of time, it takes a little time to refresh myself on how use it again. Its not intuitive. With this in mind, this is my backup software of choice.

After many years they have finally achieved a good product
In general, after spending a few years in which I had it crossed off my list, it is the one that I like the most at the moment.
It is very rare that a backup fails and the ability to configure them is one of the most extensive.
The protection against ransomware did give me some problems and I disabled that functionality.
Vorteile
It's easy to set up, even for people with no computer skills. It is fast in the copies and in the upload to the cloud. You can make images of all the disks you want, as well as highly configurable backups.
They have fixed most of the bugs they had before, I stopped using it for 3 years.

The price, for personal use I have had to do without it and change software

Great backup software!
I received a free version of Acronis TrueImage software with a hard drive that I purchased, and I liked it so much, I bought the full version. It was very reasonably priced, and it has proven to be such a good tool that I can recommend it to my customers!
Vorteile
It is very simple to use, and has some features I haven't seen in other backup software -- at least not working! I have tried many different backup programs, and many of them say that they're backing up a full system image while it is running. No other software has actually given me a system image in this way that could be successfully and completely restored to a hard disk. Acronis did, and very quickly, as well. It's also easy to set up scheduled backups and to choose different folders to include. I now recommend it to my customers as backup software, especially for Windows 10. It will do a clone of a Windows 10 system on a new hard drive that works perfectly. Add to that its affordability and the fact that it runs well on Windows 7, 8 and 10, and it's practically perfect!
Nachteile
Well, the only problem I've had was solved pretty easily: I changed to a new workstation and tried to install the Acronis software I had purchased. The activation process said that I had installed it on too many computers, so I had to deactivate the previous installation before it would work. I did, and it did!

The best backup software I've ever used
I had a very old Windows 7 laptop that had a hard drive that was failing. I installed the Acronis software and used it to clone the internal drive to an external USB drive with an SSD hard drive in it. Although the drive was failing and had many errors, Acronis was able to successfully clone the drive. I replaced the failing drive with the newly cloned SSD and the system booted right up. I had to reinstall a couple of drivers that were corrupted on the original drive but other than that the new drive works perfectly. I was concerned cloning a traditional drive to an SSD but Acronis handled it with no problems.
Vorteile
This program is very easy to use and very powerful. It performs traditional backups including full, incremental and diffierential as well as cloning entire drives. It also supports building the recovery software into your backup drive so that if you need to do a bare metal restore, the software is all there.
Nachteile
When cloning a drive with many errors, it seems to wait a long time before it asks you if you want to ignore them. Once I told it to ignore the errors, the clone worked great.

Non si capisce come mai a volte l'esecuzione del backup non coincide con la pianificazione. Altre volte non esegue il backup sovrascrivendo il quintultimo (noi teniamo ad esempio gli ultimi 5 backup). Risultato è che si accodano X backup riempiendo il disco dedicato.

Outstanding Product, the very best, a bit expensive but worth the investment!

This software has ALL of the features you could ever want in a backup and security system. Scheduling Incremental, Full backup, and Differential Backup and maintaining removal of old backups so space is always available. Bare metal restores from full and Incremental backups. Has wake on Lan so the PC can sleep.
Nachteile
Complicated to install, but no brainer for workstation user once set up.

Backup Solution for Servers
I thought it did the job for the most part. I would not say it's the best software out there as I have moved on from Acronis to others. Pricing is a bit high to be honest.
Vorteile
The layout of the interface was decent. I was able to customize it to use it for our company with branding. It did give notifications of failed backups on a regular. I was able to easily see what was backed up and when it was backed up.
Nachteile
I thought the pricing is a bit high. I am not sure if it was because I went through a vendor to purchase and deploy this but there were quite a bit of limitations of what I could do as an admin and user. For instance, I was not able to have 2 admins share the same interface and get notifications. Only one of the admins were able to get notifications. Again, I'm not sure if this was because our vendor did not set it up right.

Very reliable and easy to use
Vorteile
I once had a backup server fail and it was a nightmare. I found others had success with Acronis so I gave it a shot and am very impressed by how easy it is to use. Plus, their support has been really helpful. Knock on wood- we haven't experienced anymore failures but I'm more than confident in the backups.
Nachteile
I haven't found anything to dislike. It's stable and we've found it to be reliable. Therefore, Acronis is well worth the investment if you're in the market for a workhorse of a backup solution.

Great Software
Very good its easy to deploy and cheap and does its jobs without having services go out.

Great Tool But Hard To Use And Support Is Slow
We're able to backup and restore our systems quickly and efficiently.

For a large company like ours we find that our backups need to be done frequently and extensively. Acronis has been able to give us the option to backup our systems and restore in the event of a hardware failure. It has kept machine downtime to an all time low.
Nachteile
It's not exactly intuitive, and the support either are slow to respond or don't work quickly enough to reach the end goal quickly.

Great Features But Hard To Use And Harder To Get Support
We're able to back up, clone, and recover our machines even in the event of a catastrophic event.
Vorteile
Acronis is for the most part the most comprehensive and well designed bare image backup and recovery tool. Everything you would need to clone and back up your hard drive/system is there. and for the most part easy to use.
Nachteile
Acronis can be unwieldy at times. There was certainly times where I felt frustrated trying to do a simple task and it wasn't as well laid out or as well designed as it could be. Also Support takes weeks to respond to tickets. I had to post on Reddit just to get someone to look into an issue seriously.

Very good backup and recovery software!
Vorteile
I've been using Acronis Backup for a few years and never had any problem. It's amazing how fast you can backup a drive of 100GB or more!
Nachteile
Some versions had a complex GUI and I always had some questions, but now they fixed it and everything is straight forward and easy to understand. I wish they had a lower price on this too.

Ever since my harddisk crashed on me a few years ago and I haven't had any backup back then, I have learnt the importance of backups. Acronis backup is easy to use and has been a trusty companion to my important data.

As Kingston distributors, every SSD that we sell comes with an Acronis Activation Key which helps us a lot especially when a client is requesting a storage upgrade without losing any of his data.

I liked the fact that the software was supposed to do bare metal backup, meaning you could restore it to a new machine. I got this software because it was recommended. I should have done more research.
Nachteile
The software has not worked at all. It has not made one single complete backup without error in the 6 months I have struggled with it. I am very sorry I purchased it. Also, I thought I would be able to back up to my own cloud, but it will only back up (if you can get it to work) to their cloud that you have pay extra for. Customer support responded at first, but now they are just ignoring me.

Decent backup software
I do a weekly backup of the main business PC. A simple but vital task.

It works - and is easy to use. You can setup a backup schedule and let it run in the background. Adds peace of mind!

Excellent tool for any organization
We had terrabytes of historical photoed and newsletters. After a scare where we almost lost a hard drive, this (& a external hard drive) solved a panic over having orderly backup.
Vorteile
It was simple to setup, simple to implement. It took less than 2 hours to install the software, make a backup and train the end user.
Nachteile
It was a little tricky to automate the backup but I believe an update solved that issue - it really does not have negatives for backing up a stand alone pc.

Secure and easy backup and recovery of files

What I like most about Acronis Backup is its excellent capacity to securely backup and quickly retrieve files and its simplicity to use as it is easily tailored to all kinds of customers. Acronis recovers information that has experienced some kind of attack or merely an unforeseen incident in a secure and easy manner. In my view, Acronis technical support is very useful to fix any inconvenience. They always are in continuous communication until the resolution of the issue.

Until switching to Acronis True Image, Acronis Cyber Backup was my primary Home Backup Software for Windows PCs.
Vorteile
It is intuitively easy to use, simple to set up, effective and reliable. It works fairly quickly and makes easily restorable backups.
Nachteile
Because I am a small business and because I believe Acronis Cyber Backup is designed for larger firms, It does tend to have capabilities I don't require.

Great Virtual Backup system
Vorteile
Their backup speed is too high. Acronis Backup has a lot of pretty nice features and it's compatible for all systems and virtual machines. Syncing is too responsive. Good Customer Service, great design.
Nachteile
Sometimes it can completely freeze and does not working. And security system does not have 2 factor authentication.

It saved my life few times.
Vorteile
There is a free trial available and the price, for the paid sunscription is not too high. There are so many features, but still the software is relatively easy to use.
Nachteile
The customization is not that easy, still this doesn't affect the overall performance of the software.

Amazing bit of kit, That allows you to backup multiply systems with ease.

It's amazing how easy it is to use and it gives you that safety knowing your systems are being backed up and are easy to restore is anything happens.
Nachteile
Not a great deal not to like, It does what it says on the tins. I guess if I have to put something the UI could look better.

Amazing backup tool
Vorteile
Acronis has it all. A great dashboard in the cloud thats easy to navigate, fast backups and even faster file restores. I cant say enough about how much this has help our company secure critical data for us and our customers.
Nachteile
My only issue is that the support is a little lacking

Acronis Backup is a great backup solution that is relatively cheap depending on your use case. Acronis also has a lot of features and works very well.
Nachteile
Can be resource intensive when running a backup. Sometimes can be difficult to manage for large environments.
