Excellent Time Tracking Software

Very usable. Nice integration with QuickBooks. Excellent customer support. Back end integration provided means to deposit expenses either into an AP account (for reimbursement of personal expenses), or to liability account (for expenses paid using company credit card).

Great Project Manager Software

What a Savior this has been for our firm

We are a small sized engineering firm, but have grown over the past 20 year. We had a one person, manual entry (paper timesheet) based program. Changing to Big Time, a program that allows employees to enter their timesheets online, has totally streamlined our billing process. We are thrilled with the program.

We are very happy with the system. I have ideas of how to make it even better. I know that this can go further. Jacob is a great assist to your company. He's been a great help. In fact without his assistant I wouldn't gave chose this system.

Great Training and Service

Brea was very helpful and tech support has been responsive. This software is new to us but has taken the time to do billing down to 1 hour from 10 hours. We know know at a glance were projects stages are and who is tasked to work on them.

Happy Beginnings

We've just begun the transition period and next month will be the first full month all of our users are onboard. This software has the capability of doing everything we were looking for and I think as we begin to fully utilize the features, will bring economies and information we didn't expect. Brea has been great to work with and has enhanced our experience.

To date, the integration and training by BigTime has been excellent.

Frustrated User

We are new clients of BigTime; your software is completely different from the one we used previously. I really was lost and frustrated, but was lucky enough to contact MaryPat Holtrop. Her customer service is outstanding. Every time I have a problem, and this is quite frequently, she's there for me. She has a very calming, soft voice and she has the patience of a saint. She's very good at explaining the process and is willing to go over things several times if necessary. She is a credit and an asset to your company.

BigTime Intergration and Training

Just stated using BigTime this month for time tracking, budget tracking and invoicing. Did training with customer support representative. She has been a wonderful resource to reach out to. After going though both sessions of training we came across some issues that we didn't come up while training and the cust care representative was able to walk us though the processes smoothly. I am finally getting a handle on the BigTime software and am looking forward to really exploring all its possibilities in the future.

Nancy was so helpful with showing me how to post expenses to QuickBooks Desktop. Once she explained the one field that I needed to complete, the process was easy. I am very pleased with her expertise and patience.

BigTime definitely saves time for a small business

Pros: easy to synch with desktop QB Pro customer file, track hours by projects either using desktop pc via web or mobile device, posting hours back to QB was smooth that made getting QB invoices out to clients a snap, BigTime reports are flexible and really matched the needs and their customer service rep. helped from the point of sign-up with helpful screenshots specific to the monthly business cycle. Very pleased with this app and the support team behind it!

Made a huge difference in our time and billing

It's such a great piece of software. We used Excel spreadsheets to keep track of our time before this, and it was a nightmare for a web consultancy firm with a lot of projects going on. BigTime's app really helped us in being more effective in our billable hours.

There are a couple of small bugs that you need to refresh to fix, but other than that, it was great.

The amount of value it added to our business outweighed the minor bugs, which we can see are being addressed.

Excellent Time Keeping/Billing System

I've found this system to be user-friendly, especially when it comes to reporting. I like that I can now run a report for billing and timekeeping that previously had to be done manually via spreadsheet. Saves me a ton of time!

BigTime On-boarding support

BigTime is relatively easy to use and for end users to adopt. However, some of the administrative functions are a bit hidden and hard to notice but overall the value for the money is great. The mobile app is a work in progress, but once the app is more refine it will no doubt be useful tool for the end user.

The on-boarding session with BigTime support is great. It is very informative and useful. The support team is helpful and quick at responding technical inquiries.

Served a need and solved a problem

Looking for a better way to track time in QuickBooks and provide means for employees to enter time online from anywhere. Big Time fit the bill perfectly. Setup and integration easy, time tracking and reporting is easy. Customer Service has been great for making sure we are running smoothly. Their sync product to Quickbooks is superior to what Intuit had and has been working very well. Very effective and economical product. Employees use with ease.

Very handy

I've worked at agencies where we used excel to track time -- this is a huge step up from that. Very easy to use, has a mobile app version, can access my time off tracker and more. Highly recommend.

SO SO Software System

More work to set up then expected- Feel we really didn't get good training to start and feel like we are playing catch up now.

Great, but big learning curve

BigTime has a ton of functionality that is great for our timekeeping and invoicing needs, but the software can be a bit daunting to use. After using for a four months, we are still figuring out how the software works and have to frequently go back and edit entries we discover are incorrect through trial and error. That said, we are lightyears ahead of our old timesheet tracking method. Quickbooks integration is also a huge plus.

We have recently transitioned to BigTime and Quickbooks from a historical system using a conglomeration of softwares for time, billing, accounting and project tracking. Big Time has alot of flexibility and options for setting up the system to meet our companies needs. The support during the setup phase has been very well structured and useful in answering our questions and getting us rolling.

Search feature can sometimes be slow to react when trying to find a project. Not sure if this has to do with the number of projects we have or not.

Feedback on support help

Mary Pat Holtrop responded to my email for support this morning about a pesky problem. She investigated my problem and went beyond to see what else might be an issue after I fixed the initial problem. She was quick to respond, gave me a clear explanation of the problem, and specific instructions about how to fix it and how to deal with the changes for time already submitted. Wow!

Our employees have really appreciated the convenience and ease of logging their hours.
