YouCanBook.me, might not be "Novel", but
Overall, I've had a great experience with the platform outside of a few issues getting calendars to sync and a late adoption of virtual appointment integration, i.e. Teams, but beyond that, it's been a joy to use.
Vorteile
What I love most about YouCanBook.me is that it is completely online/web-based so there is no complicated setup or deployment process. You simply pick your subscription plan, create a profile(s) and you're ready to begin scheduling out of the gate.
Nachteile
It can be a little lite on features compared to some other platforms I've used but if all you're looking for is a simple, effective, appointment/scheduling platform at a reasonable cast, look no further than YouCanBook.me.

Great Scheduling Tool
This is one of the best scheduling solutions available. I would highly recommend use for anyone looking to avoid sending multiple points of communication to schedule meetings, dinners, gathering et.Al.
Vorteile
You Can Book Me allows scheduling across multiple email platforms and instant syncing. The setup is simple and easy to use.
Nachteile
There is not a great solution for iCloud accounts. Email accounts with 2FA will require additional setup steps.

Seamless addition of new services
Fantastic. It's a set it and forget it kind of program. I rarely need to adjust anything on the YCBM site - nearly everything has been manageable via my google calendar.
Vorteile
This was easy to customize and extremely quick to implement and go live with. While it's not been used as heavily as we expected, having bookable appointments has been an extremely benecifical addition to our service offerings, particularly with all of the remote services we've added.
Nachteile
It took a bit of digging through the (expansive and well written) help documents for some of the customization we wanted (specifically booking to a single service account, but having multiple team members able to take the appointment without rescheduling/reassigning). I thought this would be simpler, but honestly it wasn't even that bad - just some trial and error between the Zoom integration and YCBM settings.

here are my thoughts after six months of using YCBM
Overall, YouCanBookMe has made my life easier, but there's a lot of manual management required. I love the automatic calendar invites and reminders.
Vorteile
There is an easy way for students to book on their own. It takes away the most time-consuming part of my job (going back and forth discussing availability) and increases the chances that I'll actually end up meeting with them.
Nachteile
I really hate that the calendar can't simply sync with my Google calendar. That I need to create blocks of time, name them, then mark myself as "free." I also don't like that folks can't choose between 30 minute meetings and 60 minute meetings. I have to make them all uniform and then I feel like there are snatches of time that could have been booked, but there's no mechanism for it. I also find it hard to go to my page and log in. If I click on my own link, why is there not a link on that page to log in? Why is it so difficult to find my dashboard and manage my account? I'd also love the ability to indicate my working location: remote or in the office.

Fantastic service for teachers and professors
This makes my job immensely easier and is a better platform for my students to use, also. For a laboratory with shared equipment, it ensures that every researcher has time blocked out for their use.
Vorteile
This offers a LOT of very useful features to organize meetings. My students love the ability to sign up for office hours, know that they have that slot blocked out for them, and get a reminder email the day before. I get much better utilization of my office hours and the student satisfaction has increased. I also use this for advising meetings and to sign up for shared equipment usage. In every case, the service performs flawlessly. I cannot recommend Youcanbook.me highly enough.
Nachteile
I would like to see a few more themes for the sign up pages and/or the ability to customize a theme. Otherwise, everything is fantastic.

Gets the job done
Vorteile
It was not difficult to set up and I like that it helps me manage appointments throughout many countries.
Nachteile
If there are issues with the software, it is not easy to reach out to customer service to receive an update or estimated outage time. This can be frustrating since we schedule hundreds of appointments per day with this software.

Appreciate using YouCanBookMe
I like the ability to have two separate scheduling calendars. I provide advising and support to two different populations on campus and wanted to have specific appointment schedules for each. The cost of adding the second calendar was nominal, which we appreciate!
Vorteile
I like how easy it is to use and get around. Instructions are clear and the site is well laid out.
Nachteile
Honestly, I've not had any problems so there's nothing that I've found that I don't like.

Great for scheduling student meetings
YouCanBook.me has helped speed up my scheduling process.
Vorteile
I love the ease of use and the ability to embed the link in my email and on my company's website. I also love the hands-off approach to scheduling this creates.
Nachteile
There is nothing that I least like about this software. The software saves time and allows me to schedule meetings efficiently.

the best scheduling system I have found, it helps to organize various activities, training clearly and objectively, synchronization with outlook and other calendars is simply incredible.

it was difficult to get used to the system at first, the use of the codes to configure some things is complicated for those who have little knowledge in web language

Free version still feature rich
Helped our small independent school set up parent teacher interviews.
Vorteile
Love the connectivity to personal calendar. Pretty easy to set up, and even easier for clients to use.
Nachteile
Can be time consuming to set up. Only ever used the free version, so can't compare to functionality of paid.

Excellent product to stremline apoointments
I have been very pleased with the software have all my appointments scheduled with the software.
Vorteile
Appointments happen automatically and can be rescheduled. Life is so much easier - I used to spend about 20 minutes scheduling an appointment that happens automatically now.
Nachteile
We are not able to mass unschedule when an unexpected issue comes up.

Perfect for trade show meetings
Vorteile
This is a perfect tool for our sales team to schedule meetings in our in booth and out of booth conference rooms at trade shows. We are able to show when the meeting rooms are in use or available for use. The reminders are a great feature to remind the salesperson when and where their meeting will take place. The software makes it easy for the salesperson to book a meeting before the trade show begins or impromptu onsite.
Nachteile
The only thing I wish youcanbook.me would offer is an iOS native app instead of a website only.

Must have scheduling for every group project!
Very easy to use and very fancy.
Vorteile
I like the customizable scheduling options. You can schedule for an individual or for a group, can automate a consecutive schedule, customize the reminders and it has calendar sync with google, iCloud and Microsoft calendar, so you can sync more than one calendar. You can create workflows and add your emails directly as a completed task.
Nachteile
You get charged if you want to add more than one calendar. In my case, I have two different calendars: one for my personal appointments and one for my work. It has problems with apple devices.

Easy to use with great things on the roadmap

The customer support, its so timely and accessible! The product is also incredibly intuitive

It can feel clunky at times, especially against more seamless tools like Calendly, but not worth it for us to switch

the flexibility of time slots, the notification system both for the client and administrator, the customization of the front end is no more and no less than needed as well, I was under the non-profit plan and I liked the unobtrusiveness of the self-referring ads at the bottom of the page even though the product was being provided for free

Good software for booking
Vorteile
Easy to use. The free version can satisfy most basic needs for creating a booking platform. The paid version has more functions, such as sending automatic reminder or allowing for multiple booking.
Nachteile
The free version doesn't allow for multiple people booking one slot - this is allowed in the paid version but I feel like this is one of the basic needs for appointment booking and should be in the free version as well.
