One of the Best CRM Tools in the Market

Salesforce is intuitive, easy to learn and use. As a person working in Marketing/Sales, Salesforce has all the info needed to better target and reach our customer base. The biggest plus is that because it's one of the leading CRM software in the market, it easily integrates with other Marketing/Sales software that we use.
Nachteile
I'd love to receive a certification on Salesforce by taking some courses. However, they are quite pricey and more geared towards corporate-level training. I wish there could be an accessible/affordable course offered by Salesforce.

Salesforce has grown over the years into a mega platform and so it has something for everyone, but you need to really understand your requirements to ensure it's the best fit for your organisation.
Nachteile
It can be overwhelming if you don't know what you need or want to build. The User experience has improved but I feel is still behind some competitor products.

I love how this platform works and integrates with so many other tools, allowing for easy tracking and monitoring of leads, successes,etc in the client life cycle

Fairly simple to use, however, some education is necessary to fully enjoy the platform.
Nearly unlimited uses for how we manage the information, pull / run reports, display dashboards, and maintain oversight of our multiple plans throughout the globe.
Vorteile
Very robust, capable of much more than we utilize it's capabilities. Along with Conga, it allows for the running of reports, plans, etc. Virtually limitless in how you want to manage things.
Nachteile
Somewhat clunky at first until you start using it, so it comes down to time in the tool to become more comfortable to expand how we engage the tool's capabilities.

Great cool for tracking leads and business efforts

Salesforce is a very streamlined platform. We use it to track sales leads as well as reporting. The reporting is very robust and it allows multiple users onto one account.

The reporting has a little bit of a learning curve but besides that the new interface is much better than the old one.

Salesforce as a platform is extremely easy to use. It holds all relevant data in an extremely organized manner, and the data is at your fingertips. I love it!
Nachteile
I have no cons with the product. Even when there are bugs, it's fixed quickly and efficiently. The only con comes from now having proper training from my company

The updates are nice, but takes some getting used to.
Seems to work great at integrating the entire company. Love the customization tools!

Recently started using the lightning platform it's taking a little time to get used to the change of SalesForce Classic to Lightning. I like the style!
Nachteile
Having a hard time finding some of the features I typically use and sometimes have to default back to classic but after a little more training I should have the hang of it.

This is a good platform to use for sales team members that work remotely or from home. It allows you to view several different sales metrics in an organized format. Our head office is located in Ontario and we had account executives in both Quebec and British Columbia, so we were able keep track of them and make sure they were successfully building their client pipeline.
Nachteile
It is a little on the pricey side. We are a small start-up so it was at the top end of our budget in the beginning. There are some other crm software that have comparable features for less.

New layout, less clicking
It has made every customer interaction faster and more efficient.
Vorteile
This upgrade has made it easier to manage my customer accounts. I get more information on the dashboard and easier menu navigation. It is more effecient.
Nachteile
It just took a bit to get used to. I was very familiar with the salesforce classic look, and adjusting to the Lightning platform took a week or so.

A strong, easier-to-use upgrade
I was not one of the decision makers for this product, so I haven't tried competitors and don't know if any of them work better, but Lightning seems to be comprehensive and functional.
Vorteile
Compared to Salesforce Classic, Lightning definitely looks cleaner and feel simpler to use. I mainly use Lightning to view the status and progress of feature requests, and find that the information is laid out clearly and concisely. Lightning isn't the most beautiful UI but I'm able to find what I need.
Nachteile
After using Salesforce Classic, it's a little hard to get used to Lightning, which doesn't have all of the same functionality. It can be a little annoying to have to switch back to classic to access certain features (like article management, which is either unavailable or very hard to find in Lightning).

I didn't have a degree in SalesForce
I have nothing against this product or company, it just did not work well for us.
It is a powerful tool, but you have to have the right knowledge and the right implementation.

You can pretty much do anything with it. There are hundreds of tutorials to teach you, you just have to know exactly what you are looking for.
Nachteile
You basically need a degree in SalesForce for it to be worth the incredibly high cost. It is not designed for small businesses.

API is well documented and a pleasure to work with
Creating tickets and events based on integrations with third party tools.
Vorteile
We mostly interact with the API from Salesforce. It is very stable and a pleasure to work with. The REST API Developer Guide is very welcome and usefull.

Authorisation with OAuth 2.0 can be a bit of a trouble.
