Namely HRIS is a fantastic program, layout, very easy to use. The integration process was great and our implementation manager for Namely HRIS was fantastic.

Nachteile

Namely time is very basic and hard to use. The scheduling feature is very basic and time consuming. In addition, the integration between the Namely systems don't exist at all. Simple information needs to be entered into both systems and the integration capabilities are very basic. Switching to this system was supposed to cut down on every day HR/admin work, however, now she just spends her time making the programs match. Basic integrations like making an employee inactive doesn't even exist, you have to do it first in Namely HRIS then go to Namely Time and do it again. For employee hours to feed back into Namely HRIS, you have to pull a report out of Namely Time and import it back into Namely HRIS. I was promised seamless integration by our sales rep and I feel very mislead. The Namely HRIS application is completely different from the Namely Time application and it's different sign-ons.

Namely is committed to continued growth and feature advancement. They hold quarterly webinars to showcase new features and updates to their roadmap. The payroll, HRIS, and benefits functionality is very good.

Nachteile

The customer support has been uneven at times, and they recently restructured to a pod support team structure.

HRIS system is easy to manage and understand. Our employees like the feed. Love the customer service - they are super helpful and friendly. Love eSig.

Nachteile

I don't like Namely Time. I wish it was more straightforward to use. I also wish that Namely had a background check integration providers. I wish there was a built in ATS system.

The fact that it is fairly intuitive when you get into the system and the general ability to customize is nice.

Nachteile

The interface leaves a lot to be desired and the ability to report out on certain fields is limited and clunky. Creating reports is more difficult than it should be and certainly is compared to other HRIS vendors. Namely also doesn't have a robust recognition or performance portal that allows for badges, feedback to be shared, etc. for enhancing PM forms.

Easy to use platform that is intuitive out of the "box", yet customization to the needs of the business and HR Team. The news feed is a great way to add transparency to your communication efforts throughout the business and is easily recognizable from a social media perspective. The data is captured and maintained effectively and it is one of the easiest payroll experiences I have had.

Nachteile

They are still working on integrating the HR and Payroll side of the product. They are a doing a great job getting there, but it is something to be aware of.

Namely has been very customizable and adaptable to our way of business and the “weird” oddities we have. Other vendors told us many times to “just do this instead”, and those solutions were not going to work for us. However, Namely was able to come in and solve each of those needs.

Very hard to think of one. However, Namely is on a path to make the great experience, even better.

Namely is a super cool software that gets the Job done. Very easy to use. Very easy to navigate. Needs a little supervision at the beginning though but very easy to use when u get used to all HR processes in one platform. Will easily recommend this software.

This is my own opinion. And the only con I have has to do with the cost. As far as am concerned Namely cost is a bit too high. No matter the cost am still going to use this software. It can however be reviewed to help a lot more people come on board because it’s a great software.

I like that everything is housed together. I like the HR consultant that comes with the membership license. It's great that you can keep everything employee specific tied to their profile - signed documents, performance reviews etc.

Nachteile

Our company roll out wasn't smooth - it seems like there was a lot of back and forth to make sure everything was set up correctly and/or fixed. Some of the set ups don't seem intuitive, but once you get used to it it's easier.

Namely, newsfeed has really had positive feedback from our employees. Love that we can have documents and HR information all in one place - the employee's profile.

Nachteile

The payroll side of things is not as easy to use as the HR side. They don't "talk" to each other as they should -- information doesn't roll over from HR to Payroll automatically - there are times when manual adjustments need to be made.

I used namely to look at our company org chart, complete 360 performance reviews, and check in on team birthdays events etc. We have since switched to ADP. I prefer namely since it was more user-friendly and intuitive in terms of where to find what, but, I do know that for an HR Administrator it had less functionality.

I do know that our HR admins would say it had less functionality.

Their customer support is second to none, and one of their greatest assets. We love our account manager and the support he provides us daily. Our employees old and new are excited to use this software, they love the fact that is it an all in one solution with one login and that the interface is modern and not antiquated like some of the other HRIS solutions out there. We have been able to customize this software to our need and add different parts of the platform gradually as we grow.

Nachteile

We had to make a few tax adjustments when we implemented our payroll with Namely, our state has some intricate nuances with state tax. It seems like they are growing their tax department and they work to help with these issues.

It's very confortable for our employees and human resources manager. It help us to get human talent very professional and supply with the payments

Sometimes simple things weren't contemplated early enough in building out an HRIS system (e.g. 3 different direct deposit accounts (some people like auto debit from payrolls; state tax categories)

The payroll section can be more detailed, since only said the date and amount, maybe with a file with the receipt, to be more detailed information.

Listen up HR, this is the program to go with. I've used other programs and Namely is 100% the leader in HR services for employees. It's ease of use, clear outlook on logging, and most every other function has never been easier to use. Love this.

Nachteile

I cannot think of any cons. Setup may have been a little spotty but otherwise it has been nothing but smooth sailing on logging from an HR standpoint. I really enjoy how easy it is to use overall.

It’s very new in my opinion and requesting time off UI/UX is kind of off. Often times it doesn’t actually send the request. So definitely some improvement for the UX is the website.

Their systems rarely work correctly which means you have to reach put to their support team. Their support team doesnt seem to know how to aolve problems. They will mark your ticket resolved with no resolution which means you have to continue contacting them for the same problem.

It's convenient to track and manage all the employees of our remote teams and even for supervisors to manage their subordinates effectively and easily.

With a lot of features, it's a bit hard to get used to this software for new employees.

The product looks nice. But it is a glorified facebook page. The system does not operate well. I thought they would automate my recruiting, onboarding, HR and Payroll. It really does not work that way. It was much more work than my previous system. Then Namely did not disclose the extra costs to process child support, garnishes, and many other things. During the sales pitch, Namely said the price covered everything and I feel that they were not honest.

Nachteile

They do not tell you about all the fees. They messed up the quarterly reporting and never fixed it. They are absolutely horrible to deal with. Customer services reps are not helpful.

There is a dedicated team behind it to make sure that we're getting the most possible use out of it at all times.

I would like for our team to be able to utilize it for centralizing recruiting and applicant tracking. It would help streamline one remaining process into the overall software

One of the best things about Namely is that it’s extremely user-friendly. Compared to alternative HR software like Workday, it’s much easier to use. Enrolling in my benefits has never been easier. Some other features I like and use are its paycheck stubs, time-off, and notifications for coworkers’ birthdays.

Nachteile

From my side as a user, I have no complaints. However, my company switched to Workday (which I don’t like as much) because it offered some additional flexibility.

It's crazy how an app that's so simple can become so cumbersome! All the fun features like giving awards/compliments become moot because people avoid using it, it doesn't make reviews helpful at all, most people see 360 reviews as a chore and this app doesn't make it any better.

Nachteile

I think some tome of reward system, fun reminders, and other ways to boost engagement could benefit this application. Performance reviews are hardly fun, so you need to curb behavior by making it less painful, not just add on to the same pains of having to fill essays upon essays saying barely anything useful about your coworkers.

I liked how easy it was to log time off, how to find my benefits, and I liked how easy it was for me to find our paystubs. Everything in one place is great.

Nachteile

Hearing how hard it was for our administrative team to accomplish their goals through the software. This is part of why we switched away from it. It was just too difficult to administer

I wish one of these systems would make the performance management system more flexible. Companies have lots of different views of how it should be- wish it was more customizable.

It makes it very easy to enter data and to keep track of everyone. I did not upload staff pictures. It is VERY helpful to have a graphing feature that allows me to visualize data over time.

It took longer to enter the information than I thought. I went back to normal pen and paper because of this. Although this is a great product and a great idea, because I am a slow typer it just took too long to enter data. I also found field customization more difficult than it should be. Mayber I should have had my office manager deal with it!

They billed us on time. They did not give coherent or full answers 90% of the time, so I guess a pro if they did that with one out of 10 times for us.

The day before our W-2s was due they asked us to pay $11,000 extra fee that they had forgotten to mention. this was one week after saying everything was all set / ready to go. Our rep made mistakes with our off boarding that led us to get billed by benefits companies we didn’t have access to. I asked for our rel to be removed from our account three times with no response only for him to be fired and all of the mistakes he made I am now paying for... Namely consistently took 24 hours on support tickets, gave us wrong information and refused to take ownership over Porten things like onboarding and offboarding meeting my team to do much of the work.

What I liked the most about this is that I could see all my time off, expense reports, travel details, and financials in one place.

To be completely honest, there isn't much negative to say. Sometimes it took a bit long to load and maybe they could consolidate some tabs more

Extremely delighted with the fact that this is a super cool, easy on the eyes yet appealing software that allows you to have your people files, payroll, benefits and other critical confidential data all in one place. Employees can also have access to their data as they need it for self service. The software also provides HR with customizable and analytical reports by category or each individual employee. The software's dashboard is very simple to use and gives you everything you need at your fingertips as well as a mobile app.

It's expensive. Implementation time takes up to 2 months so be prepared in advance for the transition.

As a newer system, there are integrations that you find with other products that Namely is still working on (i.e. auto updates between HR and payroll). Also, there is no ATS incorporated in the product.

There was a slight learning curve when using, and the interface didn't necessarily make it easy to find things. However, after a brief training from our HR department, I found it very easy and useful!

Namely has been a huge help with our startup, particularly in streamlining all processes in one place. Having a dedicated Accounts Manager and Benefits Manager provides resources that assist across the spectrum. Accessibility and support are a outstanding.

Nachteile

As with anything, there are hiccups, such as importation of employee payroll from another product to Namely, but the good news is that the folks at Namely always work hard to get through those challenges, take the issues under advisement, and work toward solutions.

Once I was able to login to my account the software provided all the information of my work history paycheck stubs everything. I was able to download my paycheck stubs and keep them.

When I needed to reset my password to get into the program I had a terrible time finding my work information I can never get it to reset the password. I had to find a phone number actually talk to somebody with the company to help them walk me through resetting my password it was not easy to use.

It's easy to see who has time off, most of the navigation is pretty easy - doesn't take too long to find what you're looking for.

I don't like that you can't specify hours for time off, or do half days. Benefits could be better laid out - as well as paystubs.

There are no pros. We have been using them for over a year, and the service has been horrendous. They continue to make basic mistakes that are costing us tens of thousands as well as credibility with employees. We've been with other providers and this one is even worse than imaginable.

Here is my latest to the Company's CEO: Ok, so given the persistent lack of response once again to our calls and emails, after tens if not hundreds of complaints, mistakes, phone calls, emails, and promises to do better, it seems clear that Namely is not interested in us as a client or client experience in general, and has breached the services promised by the managed services.
