An easy way to gather all board documents into one place to present. Easy for the board to approve the consent agenda.

It is not easy to track the terms of each member and committee.

A word document may be used to create the agenda, Zoom links can be viewed from the OnBoard, the calendar has been updated, and there is a Resource Library. friendly to users. Continuously adding new features, updates, and enhancements. Integration went smoothly.

Nachteile

In comparison to other well-known board pack software, OnBoard operates a little bit differently, so customers who are accustomed to other types may require more assistance to get acclimated to it. Because they are a little too subtle, upload failure notifications can be overlooked if you are working quickly.

Vorteile

As the administrator, from the beginning, OnBoard was very user friendly. There was a bit of learning curve for some of our board members, but most picked it up really well and really like having the portal to locate all meeting information. One of my favorite features is the click and drag to easily add and build meeting information. There really are so many features that I like about OnBoard and the software has definitely improved my productivity!

Nachteile

I really don't have anything to list here. Integration of the software was very seamless and the time it took me to learn how to use it was minimal.

The ease of use to get each Board member registered and using the software has been great. Now they can see the meeting agendas and all pertinent reports, etc. without staff having to send attachments.

Nachteile

I'd like the ability to separate out staff and guests from actual Board members in the "Attendance" function.

Easy to use as both an admin and as a reader/user. You really do not need any formal training. We have not had any major issues with usage, making the product very dependable.

Least...scrolling back through past meetings when you are looking for something in particular and not having the ability to somehow use a search.

The absolutely critical thing about OnBoard that my organization liked the most was that it was very easy to use. The board and committee members needed a solution that required little to no training. Onboard fulfilled that need.

Nachteile

I really can’t think of anything currently bad about OnBoard. At one time, we had an issue with annotations saving reliably, but support worked very hard to get to the source of the issue and fixed it permentanylny. Everything works perfectly now. Our users are quite happy with OnBoard.

I love how it empowers my Board members to get what they need independently and also work collaboratively. No more emailing sensitive documents. No more version control issues because we all know where everything lives. Plus, building the book and associating documents with agenda items is a breeze. I also like being able to do our annual document signing online as well as surveys and votes.

Nachteile

Edits don’t save instantaneously, it takes a few seconds. This can add up, but it isn’t a major annoyance. It would also be great if the e signature function had the option to edit the text. For example, Board members could type any conflicts of interest before entering their e signature.

Our university has been using binders of printed materials for their quarterly board meetings for many years and it was about time to move on with technology. After attending a demo on the many features of OnBoard I was amazed at what could be the end result for our university's board meetings. Some of the best features are the easy access from any device; the ability to have all the necessary up to date secured meeting materials; making one’s own notes and annotations, voting, esignatures; having past meetings and documents at one’s fingertips while still having the ability to print if the user chooses to.

Nachteile

It is too early to say what I least like about the software. It is really user-friendly and I don't foresee a negative reaction from the board members. Our first meeting is next week and the implementation so far has been met with positivity.

Vorteile

I love the intuitive nature of the software - it is incredibly easy to learn how to use. Our Board implemented it in March 2019 and the feedback from our governors has been overwhelmingly positive. The many features of OnBoard and customization options have made it an invaluable investment.

At times, the customization required can be a bit time consuming.

The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive. Setting levels of security for the different committees and officers is a critical feature. We have a complex set of permissions but we were able to implement them in OnBoard. Some of our members are not that comfortable with technology but everyone was able to use OnBoard to see their documents and vote.

This is not really a criticism but it would be nice to be able to input more information about members like a Bio, titles, previous experience, etc.

Vorteile

Onboard makes it easy for our board to access packets and other documentation within the security of an iPad application. Navigation is intuitive and the functionality meets the need of our business.

Nachteile

We have tried to use the collaboration tools but wish it was more like Google Docs - where multiple personnel could be working on the same document at the same time and be able to see what the others were doing.

I least like the fact that I had to re-load all of our information when the software had a major upgrade. I was happy with the new platform, though, so it was worthwhile.

The best thing about this product is that it serves as a one stop shop for everything we need to do for the Board. From scheduling meetings, to uploading training videos, and links to important news that affect our organization/industry.

The amount of time it takes for OnBoard to compile the Board Book so that it could be viewed and sometimes, depending on the formal of the file, the upload messes up the formatting of the document.

The site is very functional and makes it so convenient to keep all documents and notifications in one place. The ease of use has been fairly good so far. And, the customer service is incredible.

I don't like how the email notification looks a little like spam mail and it is confusing to Board members if they don't know to look for it.

The permission-based feature takes some getting used to. It was frustrating when minor changes cannot be made to the survey questions once the survey is open. A helpful functionality would be the ability for members to complete and sign Conflict of Interest Forms through the portal.
