OnBoard Virtual Boardroom: Goals Align

We selected OnBoard because of the coverage of the many features it has been designed especially for board and team meetings. Fears and risks for security compliance were another issue to be highlighted because most of our production data is considered confidential.

Vorteile

Using OnBoard‘s interactive process of voting and polling, it is possible to make quick decisions during an online meeting. Scheduling: The use of the AI-powered meeting minutes generator helps provide quick solutions and minimize time wastage by creating accurate minutes.

Nachteile

In particular, I would like to emphasize that utilization of OnBoard has greatly facilitated organization of virtual team meetings. Having all the documents in one place helps make meetings more effective, as does planning for the meeting and the overall productivity.

Pretty good but could use improvement.

Vorteile

I like the ease of use and the layout of information. It's fairly basic and straightforward.

Nachteile

I'm not a huge fan of the permission setting issues. Some things work fully but some only work in park (like some things you can duplicate if you have permission but others you can't). There are also some features that would be useful for example a messenger notification management or @ing feature.

Vorteile

It's very easy to use, especially with the tutorials. Even as a beginner, you'll pick it up very quickly.

OnBoard is a great tool

I really like the "Home" page and the flexibility I have to add or delete content for our Board, it's almost like our own website. The agendas are professional looking, the RSVP options is very helpful and easy and I like the messaging capabilities inside OnBoard.

Vorteile

What I love most about OnBoard is how user-friendly it is. Whenever I have a question, I can easily find the answer either through the help section or a quick internet search. This is especially helpful when I’m on a tight deadline and need to send out an agenda. The help section provides both video tutorials and written instructions, which makes it super convenient for me to find solutions quickly.

Nachteile

There have only been a few things I would like to change (not huge in any way). I like the fact that I can put in a request to the engineers with my suggestions.

OnBoard - the perfect portal for all of your board meeting needs!

Overall I am very pleased with the portal and am grateful to have a professional software to use. With my previous employer all agendas and packages needed to be built manually so I recognize the efficiencies that this portal allows.

Vorteile

I love how easy it is to build board and committee agendas and packages in OnBoard. It's a great place to store and share all relevant information for our board members, giving them easy access to any reference documents they may need, when they need them.

Nachteile

My only suggestion for improvement to the OnBoard portal is to allow some additional customizations i.e., changes to font style and colour.

Easy to use

My experience has been great. I learned the system within a week of current role. It is easy to use and there is more to learn

Nachteile

The ability to update information for Board Members when they request it, such as an email address change. I can provide them with a link on how to do it, but sometimes it is easier for me to do it for them.

Streamline Management with Boards and Committees

Customer service and onboarding are great. Our board and staff like the way it streamlines everything. It saves me hours of prep work for meetings, by not having to format my own agenda or information packets for each meeting.

Vorteile

Meeting management through OnBoard is much more efficient than calendar invites and emails. Building the agenda is easy, and the board book it creates puts everything in one, professional-looking document. Communication with different groups through the messenger is also a time-saving feature. Eliminates group emails and makes it easy to find past conversations and information when needed.

Nachteile

It would be nice to be able to delete messages and clean up the messenger section. Also, the permissions feature is great but we often forget that you have to apply permissions to each meeting, file sharing, etc. Would be nice to have that pop up as a reminder.

Great Tool

It was easy to set up OnBoard and I like that it is the ONE place to find our members' directory information, committee memberships, and terms, and the one place to keep our meetings' supporting documents.

It is a bit cumbersome to synthesize all committees' meeting documents into one document for the meeting of the full board.

Continue to be pleased with the purchase

I've had an ideal customer experience with OnBoard! From sales to training to implementation ([SENSITIVE CONTENT] is awesome) to maintenance stage and IT needs. Improvements are continually coming. A very responsive team when it comes to questions or the occasional internet glitch. Great online resources for training, learning and best practices, in addition to live help.

Ease of use, organization, look, security, customer service, always open to ideas and making improvements, analytics.

Nachteile

Minutes builder and surveys could be improved. The ability to add custom fields to profile would be nice.

Great service!

OnBoard has been easy to use and greatly appreciated by our Trustees. They love how easy it is to find documents, and can't believe they can have all the meeting materials at their finger tips so readily. Gone are the days of paper agendas and packets of meeting materials.

OnBoard is really easy to use. Everything is at your finger tips, and the meeting book is extremely helpful for our busy Trustees. The OnBoard support team is fantastic, and when you have a question or issue, you receive help right away.

Nachteile

I really wish there was an easier way to enter in meetings. Most of our meetings are recurring monthly, and I wish there was a way to create a recurrence feature so that I'm not having to create each meeting individually.

Upgrading our Board Management software to achieve greater engagement

Experience has been excellent. The quality of the product is high, and the customer support superb. We were aiming to create a true board portal that is the first place the member go when they want information, through the resources, tasks functionality. Too much back and forth emailing of information was occurring. We wanted to change the way the board worked, and needed the best technology as a platform for enforcing such change.

Vorteile

The rich functionality of OnBoard, compared to our prior solution, sold us. A bit more expensive, but worth it. Since we are being force to transition to a new platform by our prior provider, we used the opportunity to license a best of breed solution, where the employees are clearly committed to their products.

Nachteile

There was a bit of learning curve, especially with the Member database, establishing groups, and roles, etc..

Digital Platform- Where have you been?

The transition to a digital platform was made easy with the support given by the OnBoard trainers. Questions were promptly answered, training was easy to schedule, and I never felt alone during the process. Using OnBoard has decrease the use of copying and mailing meeting packets and the time consuming task of putting notebooks together for members.

Vorteile

-OnBoard has been a wonderful addition to our organization. The easy of training and use has quickly changed the mindset of our groups and moved us into the age of technology! The meeting agenda set up is so simple to use and the Drag and drop feature makes loading documents quick and easy. Notifications keeps everyone abreast of upcoming meeting and materials.

Nachteile

-Annotations were a learning curve for everyone and trying to get eSignatures set up for everyone was a challenge. I wish minute building was part of the basic package. I realize it is an add on at this point.

OnBoard is the best board management software around

OnBoard has made my board management process easier. My implementation manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is always checking in to see if I need help and making sure that I am aware of new or other features of the platform that are available to me. I am very satisfied!

Vorteile

I love using OnBoard for my board management. It is the "go to" place for all of our governance documents, meeting calendars, meeting agendas and attachments. It also allows the members of my board to communicate with each other and with staff management easily and seamlessly. It's super-easy to look back at previous documents, policies, minutes, etc.

Nachteile

At this point, I really don't have anything that I DON'T like about the software.

Best Board Communication Tool

This has been a great tool for our board. We started with the basic, core option, and have added features along the way. Essential for our success!

Vorteile

We use the messaging tool regularly, to address items quickly and avoid getting lost in the never ending thread of email communication. We also value having all the board materials attached to the meeting agenda to make content easy to review in advance, and review during the live meeting.

Nachteile

The messaging feature is very basic. I'd love if it has some additional features, like a "thumbs up" or simple emoji's that one would use while texting.

OnBoard review

We purchased OnBoard for ease of managing the Board as well as ease of access to Board-related events/ materials for our board memebers.

Vorteile

Ease of member management and access control. Ease in giving accessibility to documents to board members. Ease in creating meeting books and managing meetings.

Nachteile

It's not that we don't like them, but the features we haven't yet implemented are meeting resistance. It will take time.

Amazing product and easy to use

It has been an easy going experience for both us admins and the VPs/President/and Board. We've stored lots of files under the Resources tab that is beneficial for the Board to review if needed. Putting a meeting together has been super easy and has saved our team so much time when certain things need to be changed/swapped out or added.

Vorteile

One of the best features of this product is how easy it is to use. Everything is easy to figure out or navigate through and it has a ton of great features. I'd recommend it to any other company.

Great product and good value

I have had a very positive experience with OnBoard, from the initial sales conversations right through to the feedback sessions as a client. Customer Service has been very good and the product has worked very well for us. It has greatly reduced the time spent producing paper packs and been very useful in meetings.

Vorteile

Simple to use from both an administrators and users perspective. Switch from paper packs to online packs was much simpler than we anticipated.

OnBoard listen to recommendations and suggestions from clients and implement them where possible - in the 12 months or so we've been using the product, I've seen a few upgrades which were a direct response to a request from clients. They are regularly updating and innovating to improve the product, which is great to see.

Nachteile

Operates a little differently to other well known board pack software, so users familiar with other types may need more guidance to get used to OnBoard.

Notifications that uploads have been unsuccessful are a little too subtle - meaning that you can miss it if you are working quickly (as we so often are during board pack creation).

OnBoard Has Upped Our Game!

My sales rep ([SENSITIVE CONTENT]) was super generous with his time and support! The end-user sees a smooth and organized face of the organization and that's what I was after.

Vorteile

There is a sense of having added a staff member, when all we've done is subscribe to OnBoard. Our Board members function in very sophisticated organizations in their "real" lives and had higher expectations than we were meeting.

Nachteile

There continues to be a random one or two people who can't get on the Zoom meeting, using the same "join virtual meeting" link everyone else was successful with -- and it is never the same people. It would be a huge benefit to have a trainer "on call" like the Technical support team is for support "in the moment" (not necessarily for Zoom but with other user-error hiccups that happen under the press of a deadline).

Easy to Use and Responsive Customer Service

We have used online board books for over 6 years, but just within the last year switched to using OnBoard. Going to from hard copy materials to digital is a HUGE time and money saver, but switching from a basic agenda book system to OnBoard has simply made everyone's days more efficient. OnBoard provides a one-stop shop for my board members. It makes their service to our organization more professional and my service to them a lot easier and less time consuming. Additionally, the customer service at OnBoard is phenomenal. They take every concern and suggestion seriously and judiciously. That was an extremely nice perk that I didn't expect.

Vorteile

The program is easy to use and quick to implement. Users can be set up in minutes and begin working right away. I also like that there is a built in resources section so the app can be an all in one portal for users.

Nachteile

This is some slight lag time in building agendas - my fingers type faster than the program saves - and I often have to go back retype items that didn't save in time. Would also like a little more customization in the emails sent, the agenda templates, and table of contents template.

Easy interface

Most functionalities in OnBoard are much easier to use, both as an administrator and as a user. Customer service response has been good, but there are some features that they haven't been able to improve upon (ie agenda).

Vorteile

The OnBoard portal is easy for our board members to use with fewer clicks to get the information they need for their meeting. The view is the same from different devices which makes it easier for them to move between laptop and phone views. Having access to AGB resources is invaluable.

Nachteile

The feature I would like to see improved the most is the downloaded version of the agenda to Word from the agenda created on the site. It takes a lot of formatting changes to make it look good. The version that downloads is very difficult to read. We have tried uploading our own agenda, but then we lose the nice online version when we pull up the meeting book.

Meeting and Conference Life Saver

This platform is a must-have if you are tasked with collating materials for meetings and organizing all material after the fact. The level of organization and time saved using this program more than pays for the fees.

Vorteile

I no longer stress out over how to organize documents, minutes, and communication for large meetings. I sit in and host 3-6 meetings a week, and felt very scattered for years. Now, documenting and creating required records, be it for training, OSHA, or internal collaboration take about an hour to prepare and finalize. If an employee can't attend the meeting, I patch them in remotely. After the meetings, I can send follow-up reminders to the attendees, disseminate follow-up documents, and/or share the meeting minutes with superiors.

Nachteile

Analytics could be upgraded to dig deeper into employee attendance, input, and overall activity with the platform. A few minor issues with different elements of the system not communicating in real-time....such as agenda and minutes.

OnBoard is an amazing board portal!

Vorteile

The transition to OnBoard from our previous board portal was quick and painless. With some brief training, we were able to setup our document library and transfer our documents easily. Support from the sales and implementation team continues to impress. We would highly recommend OnBoard.

Nachteile

The ability to edit notifications/reminders is on our wish list.

Good starter product for board administration, navigation experience is average, feature...

This is the first board management tool we've used, so moving from what we were doing previously to this tool was a positive step for our company. My understanding is that customer support has been fairly responsive but we've gotten a lot of "oh our product doesn't do that...its on the list" or "we limited that feature on purpose because of XYZ."

Vorteile

OnBoard was a good starter product for our company as our structure has become more complex with multiple supporting organization boards that we are administering. The multi-tenant capabilities of OnBoard and the ease of toggling between different boards was a major driver in our decision to purchase OnBoard.

Nachteile

The social feed is not great and we had significant issues learning how to post and correctly push communication updates to email and notifications. The opportunities for board interaction are limited. The messaging feature is primitive. The survey and approvals feature is not easy to navigate and tracking responses requires an unnecessary amount of hops.

Lund Loves OnBoard!

Prior to OnBoard, our board was exhausted and overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork they were receiving in their board packets. The board packets were averaging around 75-100 pages, and when you have 20 board members, they would take hours to print. It was a big waste of time and expenses. Creation of the board packet was an entirely separate time-sucker, as the Table of Contents had to constantly be adjusted. Since the portal, not only have the board appreciated the lack of paper and the convenience of being able to click to what they need, but we have saved hundreds in staff pay (and frustration!) of creating manual board packets!

Vorteile

OnBoard's Resource option has proven to be so valuable for our agency. We do not have an intranet or any one central location that board and staff can communicate and share documents, and the documents are constantly being updated. The Resource library has been great to keep the most updated documents all in one place.
The customer service is impeccable!! Their team is very helpful, receptive, and very competent. The rep has been great to work with.

Nachteile

There's not much negative to say about OnBoard. It is reasonably priced and though they have been making many updates lately, it is because they are listening to their customer's needs.

SFU Board of Trustees Engaged with OnBoard

Increased communication has definitely been the biggest benefit. Trustees like seeing everything available in one place.

Vorteile

It's easy to implement. The training for myself, admins and the Trustees was excellent.

Nachteile

Other than wanting to put in former Trustees to be able to track them, none so far.

OnBoard Made My Job A Lot Easier

Our experience has been nothing but positive. From the first reach out by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] right through to the customer service outreach with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]

Vorteile

Onboard is such a simple and intuitive product. As soon as I received access to the product I was able to log in and immediately start building the portal to suit our needs. We had a board meeting very shortly after signing on - I was able to build and circulate the agenda and board materials within the first day of implementing the product.

Nachteile

I have not received any complaints from the board members. All board members found it very simple to login and maneuver around the portal.

Features are limited, but overall good product

Vorteile

Everything is centralized in one place - calendar, announcements, board materials, etc.

Nachteile

I don't like that members cannot be invited to meetings through the software. For example, if I post a committee meeting and add the members that need to attend, OnBoard sends out a notification via email to the members that the meeting has been updated. This creates confusion because the members don't receive an invitation - just a notification that a meeting that may or not know about has been changed. I wish there was an option to invite members that would allow them to RSVP and add it to their calendars. When I called customer support, they told me that OnBoard is not set up to send invites and that I should use Outlook calendar. If OnBoard is to be our one-stop shop for all things board related, I should be able to do everything from it. The only way, currently, that members know about meetings is if they log on to OnBoard and look for themselves. Because of this, we are still having to invite them through Outlook and OnBoard is becoming an extra step for them to take to RSVP - they are busy people and don't see the purpose. It's essentially becoming obselete and not what we hoped it would be for us.

My overall experience was and still IS amazing! The team is so responsive, my sales rep [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is amazing as well. He is not the guy that makes the sale and ignores you. He has kept in touch with me throughout the transition and is always responsive when I need him, if ever.

Vorteile

I love that the software is super user friendly. We used a different portal previous to this one and even my board had no trouble transitioning.

Nachteile

The only thing I would say is a little annoying is the wait for the book to be built. Once you have all the docs in the binder it has to build the book, which is understandable but I wish it was just a half a minute faster.

Best Board portal we've used!

The customer service with OnBoard is top notch. Anytime we've needed help, they're ready. Setup was a breeze. We knew day one of our trial period that this was the portal we've been needing!

Vorteile

My favorite feature of OnBoard is the ease of use both for the administrator and the user. The portal our Board previously used was not nearly as user friendly for our Board members. I have heard no complaints from our Board since we've switched to this one! For the administrator, the features are nearly endless. Organizing this portal for our team was quick and easy, and everything is very easy to find.

Nachteile

The only feature this portal lacks that we would find helpful is a minutes builder. Although we have no problem having minutes written separately and uploaded to the portal, using the portal to create minutes as we move through the Board Book would cut our time spent on that in half.

OnBoard is just what we needed

Our Board and Executive Team is happy with OnBoard and I believe they have found the transition from our previous board site to be simple and feel comfortable with the features and accessibility of OnBoard. A satisfied team makes and Exec Assistant happy! :)

Vorteile

We are only slowly moving into all the features, to keep our transition seamless. The ease of use is very important and evident with both me and with the team of 19 others using it. We were able to roll this out to our Board and Executive Team so they didn't feel a while new learning curve was necessary.

Nachteile

Integration with existing processes has been very smooth, with minimal questions.
As to improvements or frustrations, they've been minor. One has been regarding the ability to change order on certain documents or files and needing label them a, b, d, or 1, 2, 3, etc...to get them in the order I want them. Another is that while I appreciate the analytics, I wish as an administrator, I had control over who sees the results.

Super excited about OnBoard!

Our overall experience has been fantastic! We are fortunate to have their executive on our side; they are wonderful at explaining our options and finding solutions to our specific needs. I personally create the Board packets, and my time has freed up significantly with OnBoard. It's just so easy to use! I'm very excited to see how our OnBoard platform evolves and makes our lives even more efficient than it already has.

Vorteile

This software allows us to provide a much needed one-stop-shop for our Board and Supervisory Committee members. Since OnBoard can be put on any device, our Board is able to securely review the packets well in advance of the meeting, which has really shortened our meetings and eliminated printing large packets. We also love that the Board has all of the resources they need in one location and that they can even sign the minutes and other documents right within OnBoard. More to come!

Nachteile

What I like least about the program is that we have not fully utilized the features yet... but that's on us! Looking forward to the day when our OnBoard is being fully utilized (although Passageways is constantly coming up with new solutions, so this day may never come - absolutely not a complaint).

OnBoard Software

As with every company, 2020 brought on some special challenges. The biggest was how/what was going to replace in person meetings. How can we continue to reach out to our Board. Zoom was a game changer, and was a great foundation. But for our committee & Board meetings the OnBoard software will definitely fill in all the gray areas that we were left with. I am actually very excited for the rollout of this software to our Staff and Board.

Vorteile

I am the one that makes up our Board documents and takes minutes for the Board Meetings. The binders practically build themselves with the software. The minute taking feature I have not yet been able to 100% investigate, but from what I can tell so far, its going to be a life saver.

Nachteile

I must admit, I was hesitant and extremely intimidated. But like anything else the initial set up and tweaking takes the most time. Once that was in place, just the ease of using the software was a pleasant surprise, for sure. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been amazing form the beginning to where we are now, and I look forward to our continued progress with her. She has taken "customer service" to the next level, we are so fortunate to have her.

Very intuitive board portal

Using OnBoard has improved the process of document distribution and creation. The two-factor authentication feature was critical for our organization.

Vorteile

Our Board was "on board" with the portal immediately - the interface is extremely easy to use and very intuitive. Having our directors use the portal was the most crucial criterion for adoption. There is no perceived value for an app extensively used by our organization's administration but not by our Directors. Customer service and support have been outstanding. The two-factor authentication won us over - it's easy to use and addresses our security concerns.

Nachteile

There are little things but nothing I would consider major: I would love to customize our agenda to include our logo, I would love for the app to convert to pdf each individual document included in the Board book.

Annual Review for Fulcrum - NGallagher

The OnBoard staff from kickoff with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] to execution with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been prestige. The team has always been readily available for support and random trainings if you are stuck on something. Excellent customer service!

Vorteile

The fact that it is such a user friendly product. The layers and options are simple to understand which is what you need for users that may only go into the product once a month or even quarterly for meetings. Its just a great tool for the need i have.

Nachteile

One thing that i had shared was that you are not able to edit any materials to an open vote. You have to close the vote and create a new one. If there was a way to edit a vote and notify the voters that it has been edited so they can go back in to view the edits.

Board Management Made Easy

Vorteile

1. Very easy to use.
2. Great support and implementation team.
3. Great options for training for staff and board members.
4. High level of security within the portal.
5. The board book. (it takes all your documents for your meeting and merges them into one easy to follow meeting package)

Nachteile

There is not a super administrator role that can see everything in the software.

all aboard with OnBoard

Vorteile

The overall menu and user interface is refreshingly modern. Login is simple, secure, and allows you to reset your own password, like any sensible online login system. The book viewer is great on the app and online--you can scroll through pages that load quickly.

Nachteile

Overall no complaints! It takes work to invite and manage the many users on our eight different boards and committees, but the Admin controls make managing users as easy as I can imagine possible for being so detailed, and the sales and implementation team was incredible.

OnBoard is definitely worth it!

Vorteile

This platform is very easy to use. Even our technology challenged board members are able to use and work through OnBoard. I am able to upload our most requested documents thus saving administrative time of sending and re-sending documents to the Board.

Nachteile

It's nice to work "behind the scene" getting the material ready for the Board members. However, early on I kept forgetting to change a status to "published" so the users could see everything.

Fully Engaged Board Members!

So far my overall experience with OnBoard has been great. It has benefited our Board meetings, and has made everyone more engaged.

Vorteile

What I personally love about this software is the ability to do everything electronically and no paper is needed! I also love the drag and drop feature when composing the agenda which makes things so much easier and faster. The board members are able to see everything in real time and there is no more waiting and having to have 100's of sheets of papers that will eventually just end up going in the trash. Board members are more engaged during the meetings and are able to annotate their notes right on the screen. I also like that I can see who will be attending or not attending in advance vs scrambling at the last minute sending out e-mails.

Nachteile

At this time, I don't have any negative feedback.

Has made Board administration so streamlined

We have been really happy. It has saved us so much time and everything is so organized. Board members can get what they need without needing staff aid. When I have needed tech assistance, they get back to me right away and are so helpful. All the training videos set us up for success.

Vorteile

I love how it empowers my Board members to get what they need independently and also work collaboratively. No more emailing sensitive documents. No more version control issues because we all know where everything lives. Plus, building the book and associating documents with agenda items is a breeze. I also like being able to do our annual document signing online as well as surveys and votes.

Nachteile

Edits don’t save instantaneously, it takes a few seconds. This can add up, but it isn’t a major annoyance. It would also be great if the e signature function had the option to edit the text. For example, Board members could type any conflicts of interest before entering their e signature.

Great product at a great price.

Meeting materials are easy to build for staff members and easy to access for board members. Allows for a terrific collaboration process.

Vorteile

Ease of building the agenda and supporting documents. What used to take me hours is now handled in seconds by OnBoard.

Nachteile

Can't think of a least favorite aspect of the software. It's easy to use and very cost effective.

Great product, must have for Board and Committee meetings!

Overall, this is a very good product and has become indispensable for my agency. We would have never gotten through this COVID shutdown without it! As the admin for the platform, it has made my life so much easier! I am very happy we have this product for our Board and Committee meetings.

Vorteile

Centralized location for all documents. Members can easily access documents. Easy to present during virtual meetings. Very good quality. Great way to communicate events and meeting dates/changes with members.

Nachteile

The zoom integration does not work well. It would be wonderful if it did. The inability to use the gallery view is very disappointing and the sound/video quality is poor with the integration. It works will when Zoom is used separately however. Also, so of the features are not very user friendly. For instance, it is difficult for members how to simply print a document. Also, the lagging when typing in some fields is very annoying.

Great so far

It’s very user friendly, efficient, with a professional feel to it. We no longer needs an extra person for keeping minutes now.

Nachteile

The price. Although I think we got a good price for the product, as a nonprofit that survives off of private donations only, the price always matters.

Conexus Indiana

We like OnBoard because we are able to share secure documents with our board members. If a board member leaves or quits the board I am able to easily deactivate their account and they will no longer be able to access those documents.

Vorteile

The thing I like most is the permissions settings. You can upload documents and only make them visable to certain groups or members. I find this is the most helpful when managing different groups of people on OnBoard.

Nachteile

Sometimes I find it confusing to figure out who can see certain things I upload. The permissions is one of my favorite features but at the same time I find it difficult to change them sometimes. For our board meeting we make 1 large powerpoint. In order for the powerpoint to be uploaded to OnBoard I have to separate it out by agenda item so that is a bit tedious.

An effective Board Management software that gets the job done

It has been a pleasure working with the Onboard team, they did a good Job in holding our hand throughout this process and the software has helped relive us of some of the duties that were time consuming

Vorteile

Love how easy it is to use even for those who are not already familiar to the software.

Nachteile

A Text notification feature would be a nice Add-on but I understand that this is something that can be easily requested for.

Customer Service is the BEST!!!

FANTASTIC!!!

Vorteile

I wish I could rank OnBoard's customer service higher than 5 stars! I couldn't be happier with their training and customer support. Their top level folks have taken the time to have conversations with some of our board members for input. The system is seamless when board members come with their IPads or use our tablets. Preparing for board meetings has never been easier from a staff perspective and we are definitely saving time, money and trees by using OnBoard.

Nachteile

Some of our board members still want to print documents so I've had to show them how to download the document (which is easy) and then they can print whatever they like.

Better than paper!

It is wonderful to be able to quickly update the meeting agenda a packet materials. It would be better if board members would use the RSVP feature so we know if we have a quorum, but members have been slow to catch on to the importance of that for the clerk. I am not very computer literate so I enjoy how easy this product is to use.

Vorteile

OnBoard has made moving to paperless meetings an easy process. I can quickly adjust each meeting's agenda and board members have easy access to the most up to date information for the meeting.

Nachteile

As our meetings moved to online platforms for social distancing we continue to use OnBoard for getting meeting information out to board members but are using Zoom in order to have public access to meetings. There are some features for board members to interact regarding documents but that could violate the open meetings act, so we do not use those features.
