Overall, our experience with OnBoard has been outstanding—from the platform’s ease of use to the exceptional support we received throughout the process. It has truly elevated the way we operate and engage with our Board.

Integrating OnBoard into our Board operations at Bet Tzedek has been a truly transformative experience. The platform has made it so much easier for us to manage Board meetings, materials, and communication in one centralized, user-friendly space. It’s streamlined our processes, improved access to important documents, and helped our Board members stay connected and engaged—whether they’re in the office or joining remotely.

Best for professional use.
From the first sales interactions through the customer feedback meetings, I have only had excellent experiences with OnBoard. The product has performed extremely well for us, and the customer service has been excellent. The time spent creating paper packs has been significantly decreased, and it has been very helpful in meetings.

A word document may be used to create the agenda, Zoom links can be viewed from the OnBoard, the calendar has been updated, and there is a Resource Library. friendly to users. Continuously adding new features, updates, and enhancements. Integration went smoothly.
Nachteile
In comparison to other well-known board pack software, OnBoard operates a little bit differently, so customers who are accustomed to other types may require more assistance to get acclimated to it. Because they are a little too subtle, upload failure notifications can be overlooked if you are working quickly.

It has been a very good experience communicating with this app and has very user-friendly interface. I use across different platforms with ease.

I have experience login issue at times but that is also very rarely but other than that no complains.

OnBoard has Outperformed Our Expectations
We have been so pleased with OnBoard since joining the platform. Migration of information to the site, trainings for Board and management, and all startups for the site were smooth and without issue. Since starting we have been very happy with the service we've received and the strength and functionality of the product. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
Vorteile
The ease of use and general intuitive nature of the platform is the best. Everything is offered on the platform so there's no need for multiple systems. But the absolute best part is the people. Their support staff has been nothing short of amazing. Any questions are answered quickly and in a friendly supportive manner. Our Board of Directors are thrilled to have everything together and easily locatable in one simple location.
Nachteile
While I wouldn't list this as a "con" I would say that there is plenty of room for improvement in the Assessments/Questionnaire area. Particularly in how the data that is captured is shared. I have submitted a ticket with the OnBoard support team, and they have shown true interest in improving this area and open to our idea of what we are looking for from the product.

OnBoard is worth the expense
Having a single location to allow for collaboration without having to use Dropbox, Messages, iChat, Google Docs, etc. makes a meeting go so much smoother. And I no longer need to print out hundreds of pages of documents for in-hand. And the Board members feel secure with the privacy and security that this system affords them.
Vorteile
This management software, now that I, as an administrator, have gone through the training, is easy to manage and easy to access from the board member's perspective. It provides shortcuts that allow for easy use, especially as it relates to minutes. I can create templates that shortens the administrative time needed.
Nachteile
There are some features to which one needs to adapt, but the team is very responsive to needs and offers the best work around for your particular needs.

Your Board needs Onboard!
I have nothing but good things to say about Onboard. I feel more organized, more in touch at the meetings because I am not shuffling papers,. I would and have recommended this product to other non-profits in a heartbeat.
Vorteile
What I like the most is the ease of access to the documents and that fact that I can make comments on these documents that I can save for future reference. I also like the calendar integration and the ease of getting into a meeting right from the software which is so much easier than digging for emails. When I talk to our board secretary who is our administrator, she tells me how much easier it is to use and how much time it saves.
Nachteile
The one thing I feel that is missing the most the document collaboration. I think that this would be a very useful tool to have included in this package. Other than that there really is nothing to dislike.

Great Board Management Tool!
Having board files in one location will cut down on the amount of Trustees needing me to track things down and will serve as a secondary backup of our precious files. Customer service is astounding, especially compared to what I experienced or see available with a more expensive, similar platform I demoed, and the interface is more modern than the other platform as well. So OnBoard looks and feels great and was well received. My life has improved since adding this feature, saving hours with creating Board materials.
Vorteile
This was a great cloud-based portal for full management of board materials, easy creation of Board Books, and creation of an archive in one location. This replaced a home-brewed portal that was difficult to use and clunky. Now, I can easily create and update board books instead of wasting precious time making manual, difficult updates using Adobe Pro. Great customer support.
Nachteile
Some features we don't have since unfortunately they cost extra. We also have a difficult usage case that has required some workarounds but that is on us for being complicated. I hope one day they allow more than one Zoom platform to be connected to the account.

OnBoard has made my Board management tasks a breeze!
My board materials are now professionally housed in one place with an easy interface for my board to navigate and obtain whatever they need. The agenda timer has encouraged speakers to be more mindful of the meeting progress and keep things running on track. As an administrator, I appreciate the visibility into meeting analytics to know how they board is engaging with what we're posting.
Vorteile
My top 3 benefits since using OnBoard include:
1. Very reliable customer/implementation support and ability to hold on-demand training sessions for our board members if/when needed.
2. Very user-friendly and streamlined dashboards to keep my board aware of what they need to pay attention to
3. Meeting minutes builder makes it so much easier to capture my minutes that fumbling with templates and paper notes as before.
Nachteile
Overall I'm very satisfied but would appreciate minor tweaks such as being able to see a preview of the notifications my end users receive before they go out or screenshots of samples within the training guides. Also, further customization in the layout of the meeting minutes builder, the ability to attach multiple links and documents to announcements posts rather than just one per announcement, and less clicks to view annotations within the board book + a reply button to annotations instead of the need to post a separate message.

OnBoard is a Success!
OnBoard provides a secure environment and ensures confidentiality of information.
OnBoard provides efficiencies. We are not coping hundreds of pages, assembling notebooks, and mailing board books. Preparation for meetings is streamlined.
Support from our customer success manager is excellent. I appreciate the training videos, webinars for users, and 24-7 support.
Vorteile
The board recognized the need for a secure platform for its work and wanted to move away from paper documents. We have a 13-member board, and trustees live across the country. The level of experience is varied among our trustees; however, the first trustee who agreed to move to a board solutions platform is the person with the least experience. And, she has had not difficulty using OnBoard. Some of our trustees were exploring OnBoard before we had a training session, and they found it easy to use. We offered one training webinar conducted by our Passageways customer service manager, which was recorded.
The trustees used OnBoard for its first board meeting less than three months after acquiring the product and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The trustees found that navigating the site and the board book is easy. They appreciate electronic board books, earlier availability of information, and the ability to add documents as needed, even during the board meeting.
In the past, material from investment managers and auditors was provided at the meeting. With OnBoard, these documents were available before the meeting, which dramatically increased the number of pages in the board book, but trustees had the opportunity to review information and prepare questions before the meeting. We were amazed that the use of OnBoard during the meeting went so well.
I appreciate the ease with which you can change the agenda and and update/revise materials.
Nachteile
Because staff members do not have access to all board materials, permissions have to be set individually for each staff member. While setting permissions is not difficult, it is a learning experience, but our customer success manager is a good teacher and patient!
While we have not yet implemented the actions function, we are looking forward to using it for approvals, surveys, and signatures.

AMBA Experience with OnBoard
We love OnBoard! It's compatible with all the browsers we use, its mobile app is superb, and when compared to other board portals we've used, it provides more capability at a lower price. Last but certainly not least, customer support has been tremendous. Our customer service representative, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], has been with us every step of the way as we tailored OnBoard for our needs, migrated the documents we stored on our previous board portal, and prepared OnBoard for our first meeting. I can't say enough about the support we've received from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and the rest of the OnBoard team.
Vorteile
As compared to our previous board portal, OnBoard is so much easier to use, more intuitive, and is an easier collaboration tool. We just held our first board meeting using OnBoard. Its integrated conferencing capability powered by Zoom made the meeting the most efficient and effective virtual meeting yet.
Nachteile
The platform needs an e-mail capability that will allow users to communicate with each other securely and with the ability to attach documents or find them within OnBoard's "resources." The current messaging capability -- akin to texting -- is good, but it lacks the flexibility of a more robust, e-mail-like communication capability.

OnBoard is the perfect solution for our organization
From day one, the experience was very positive. I was given the time I needed to learn the system and we received training for separate groups of individuals who are using the platform. Everyone I interacted with in the company had a positive attitude and genuinely wanted to help and make this transition a success.

It is very intuitive and easy to navigate. No need for lengthy trainings, it is simple for all users.
Nachteile
So far, we are satisfied with the system. As with every platform, there is always one item that is a bit of an irritant. To remove or change an email address for a user, you have to delete the user and add the information again in the system.

Moving to OnBoard was a great choice!
Overall my experience has been great. After demoing multiple platforms, we chose OnBoard because of the best affordability, it's user-friendly, and the support has been stellar. Our set-up and support team have been there 100%, and go above and beyond to address questions and resolve any technical issues. To me, customer service and tech support are a #1 priority and rep, as well as the tech support team, have always exceeded my expectations.

OnBoard is a visually appealing platform, that is user-friendly and easy to use.
Nachteile
Feature availability, such as 1) downloadable material does not include an agenda page 2) surveys have to be closed before reviewing results, which limits the ability to know when to close the survey 3) announcement permissions are limited to Admins only. 3) The survey questions format lacks more enhanced customization

Great value to our Board
WONDERFUL customer support with comprehensive training initially for the administrators, and very user friendly training for each member of our Board.

Board Operational Success
Awsome. The staff loves it and the board loves it.
Vorteile
We have an enjoyed every aspect that we have used thus far with the OnBoard platform. From meeting communications, to reminders, to board meeting agenda, to document sharing...we have found this platform to be a time saver and credit OnBoard with greatly improving our board commuications, board meetings and board functions. Trainings for Board and Staff have been wonderful.

No issues at the moment. We have a few board members that have not signed in yet and that makes communications difficult but not a fault of OnBoard.

OnBoard for Nonprofit Board of Directors
Thus far, I have used OnBoard to house all of our Board of Director-related documents, including agendas, meeting minutes, corporate materials, financial statements, etc. I have also been able to organize and execute one BOD meeting using OnBoard, and I found it very functional in keeping my board well-informed and well-prepared for their discussion.
Vorteile
As the Director of our Board of Directors, it is vital that we have an easy way to communicate with our Board members, and that they have easy access to documents, links, and meeting minutes and agendas. The OnBoard platform ensures that everything can be found in one place and that communication with th entire Board can happen easily, especially in regards to critical action items.
Nachteile
The only hiccup I have run into thus far, is when adding actions or documents to agendas, I have to make sure that my Board has access to them, or that they are "invited to them. I feel like it would be easier if access was automatically granted to all invitees of an agenda when the action or resource was added. I hope this makes sense.

Our Board Loves It
Overwhelmingly positive. I have received several comments from Board members within the first month about how intuitive it is to use and how much they enjoy it.

The ease of use to get each Board member registered and using the software has been great. Now they can see the meeting agendas and all pertinent reports, etc. without staff having to send attachments.
Nachteile
I'd like the ability to separate out staff and guests from actual Board members in the "Attendance" function.

Very user friendly
OnBoard customer service is amazing. We were assigned an implementation manager and she was fantastic - super helpful and happy to help with training users. She also attended meetings to help make sure the implementation went smoothly and helped ensure we knew how to use the voting function (among other functions).
Vorteile
OnBoard is very easy to use and intuitive. Our board adapted to the tool very quickly and is finding the tool very useful and effective. It makes it much easier to share information with the board and for users to find the information for the next meeting and access everything for a meeting in one place.
Nachteile
One feature we would like to see added is the ability to have the functionality of word and excel within the tool. The annotation tool is really useful, but we could also use the ability to make actual edits/changes in word and excel. (So incorporating the Teams functionality within the tool).

OnBoard is the answer to efficiency
I think OnBoard is great. It has helped me to be more efficient when it comes to getting our meeting packet to our board members each month. I can assign other individuals in the bank to upload their documents into the book, I don't have to upload everything. I can notify everyone with one click that the agenda/book is available for review. All the board members have one secure location to access the board packet; rather than sifting through tons of emails to find the one I sent to them.
Vorteile
The ease of use. I love that I can just drag and drop my documents into OnBoard. I don't have to browse for them. I love that I can keep adding documents to the book right up until the start of the meeting. It is very easy for my non-technical staff to use. The support staff at OnBoard is excellent. Everyone has been very helpful and very timely. Every time I've had a question, I had the answer easily within 30 min of emailing them.
Nachteile
The voting is a very nice feature. It is just a little cumbersome for my board to use. It takes them to a different screen to vote, then they have difficulty getting back to the book. When we have multiple agenda items to vote on, they also get a little confused as to which view approval to click. If that could be reworded to say vote for approval of "name of approval item". We usually have about 10 different items to vote on during each board meeting.
Another feature I would like to see is maybe an option to have minutes created after the meeting with who approved, denied or abstained from the voting in each item.

It makes the Board of Directors experience more efficient and helps them manage Board time with their regular jobs. It's a one stop shopping opportunity that is available anywhere they are.

The ability to put everything my Board needs in one place and not ask them to reference old emails is critical in helping them manage their Board work.

Only that there is a lot we haven't used yet, but that will come with time.

OnBoard for NonProfit Boards is Definitely Worth a Look! User Friendly!
Our experience has been favorable. The implementation team has been attentive, available and have answered all of our questions. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been awesome and extremly helpful. Two user trainings have been completed and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has offered to schedule another training if necessary. As mentioned previously, we look forward to resolving accessibility issues. We appreciate [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] efforts in assisting in resolving our accessibility concerns.
Vorteile
The layout is user friendly regardless of end user's levell. From an administrator perspective, OnBoard offers ease in configuring the organization and simplicity inviting users. We just launched the software and look forward to providing more feedback over the next few months.
Nachteile
Because we have users who are either visually impaired or blind, accessibility is an issue. The tool is not currently accessible. We are encouraged by Passageways efforts to meet this highly necessary requirement and look forward to OnBoard being fully accessible for our users.

OnBoard is a must for Associations
As a user who has worked on three different platforms now over the past 10 years, I am very happy that we selected OnBoard. The sales and onboarding team were 100% attentive in ensuring we were up and running and knew how to use the system by our deadline.
Vorteile
Using OnBoard for your Boards and Committees makes the production of meeting books super simple, provides for transparent and historical availability of information to your Board and committee members who use the system and allows users to access their meeting from multiple platforms. Committee members on the road - no problem, OnBoard is accessible from their phone.
Nachteile
OnBoard is a product that requires you to purchase a suite of services in various bundles and as you would expect, the feature you want is in the suite of services you didn't choose. This is not a deal breaker because the standard product is rich in offerings, it just makes it challenging upon start-up to choose the suite of products that you feel you will benefit from the most at the budget amount you are most comfortable with.

The right decision
For each new idea our organization has, OnBoard has made it super easy to 'ask' or create a wish list of sorts of things our organization would like to see OnBoard do. For example, we would like to be able to add all of our social media links on to the dashboard while currently you can only list one. We have also asked for demographics to be collected, which they are also working on this added feature.
Vorteile
Being able to streamline multiple programs into one has made managing our Board more efficient. We have been able to combine Outlook, Doodle Poll, Zoom transcription, Survey Monkey and archiving into one area. The product has been super easy to use and integrate into our own business processes.
Nachteile
Zoom integration would be the only area that could use improvement. Our agency has strict guidelines in place when using virtual technology so linking our two accounts have not worked as well as we had hoped but OnBoard is working to rectify the situation.

OnBoard helps with ease of board administration
The customer service has been outstanding!
Vorteile
OnBoard helps give our board access to documents and provides reminders. However, my favorite features are how it assists in my role as Executive Director. It is easier to load and build board materials across our 5 locations. I also really like the Directory feature. I'm looking forward to using the motion and vote feature as our board feels more comfortable.
Nachteile
OnBoard is receptive and responsive to feedback and changes, so even areas that we struggled with were updated. Like any technology, to be successful it takes some time to set up and organize initially. The only downside is the heavy permissions based by user. This may be key for some businesses, but it is harder for us to manage administratively for our size and scope of organization.

OnBoard has been a lifesaver
OnBoard has freed up a surprising amount of administrative capacity already by providing our Directors with an easy, online service where they can find what they need and communicate amongst themselves or with us. Quite often where we would have been asked to confirm important dates or track down documents in the past, our Directors are able to do everything they need using OnBoard.
Vorteile
I really appreciate the fact that this is a "one stop shop" for my Board of Directors. Anyone with permissions can upload materials, both past and present so we're busily populating our portal with everything and anything we and our Board think they may find helpful. The fact that we can generate agendas and hold our meetings on Zoom within the portal as well just makes this an amazing resource I can't now imagine doing without.
Nachteile
I felt like there was a limit to what users can do without at least some organized training and gathering a larger group of busy professionals volunteering as Board Directors for training sessions can be like herding cats: everyone has conflicts. However, our implementation manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been amazing. I simply cannot say enough about her.

Recommend this sofrware!
My experience with OnBoard has been positive. The customer service representatives are very helpful and always there to jump on a call and help you to solve things, as well as keep you up to date with new things that are being offered or training classes to learn more about different things that can be utilized in OnBoard. They are very sensitive to the times that we are in, with the COVID19 pandemic, and have been helpful in sending resources, etc.
Vorteile
This software is very user friendly and easy to understand and use. Their customer service is always there to help you and to answer any questions or concerns that you have. One of my favorite things is that when you are uploading resources, you can upload several at at time.
Nachteile
There have been a few things that I was like oh man I wish this was easier or this is a lot of work, but then literally for every one of those I later found out that there was an easier way, so there isn't really anything I can say that I don't like with this software. I am very new at using it, so there is a lot more to learn and to try, and we have more integrating to do, but so far so good.

CCA Foundation creates missional moments with ONBoard
Ninety percent of our board members quickly adopted the portal thanks to the easy interface and simple to navigate features. The OnBoard team was incredibly responsive and helped me understand how to use the tool, walked me through customizing the look and feel of the portal, and helped me build immediate muscle memory for utilizing the tool for multiple board meetings.

The ease of meeting agenda creation and document attachment; the use of voting and other actions that improve meeting efficiency; the ability of each reader to annotate documents and be well-prepared for conversations; the AGB board member best practice resources.
Nachteile
The editing of documents off-line is not that intuitive. The customization of the theme/design of the home page is limited.

Also the system is finickily. You can be working in the system and it will close you out or display something went wrong.

System is pretty straight forward to use. Easy to drop files in folders. Easy to schedule a meeting and pull in attendees.
Nachteile
Need to ability to created hyperlinks to take you from the agenda to the document that is referenced. Committee members don't want to have to go to resources and search for document.

OnBoard - a portal for better meeting management
We are finally getting away from binders of printed materials and OnBoard is making it a window to a new and productive experience.
Vorteile
Our university has been using binders of printed materials for their quarterly board meetings for many years and it was about time to move on with technology. After attending a demo on the many features of OnBoard I was amazed at what could be the end result for our university's board meetings. Some of the best features are the easy access from any device; the ability to have all the necessary up to date secured meeting materials; making one’s own notes and annotations, voting, esignatures; having past meetings and documents at one’s fingertips while still having the ability to print if the user chooses to.
Nachteile
It is too early to say what I least like about the software. It is really user-friendly and I don't foresee a negative reaction from the board members. Our first meeting is next week and the implementation so far has been met with positivity.

Great success with OnBoard so far!
Vorteile
Setting up OnBoard and rolling it out to our Board of Directors and committees was easier than I could have imagined! Throughout various calls with our implementation coordinator, we learned the best and quickest ways to get accounts set up and everyone ready to roll! The platform is so easy to use that all of our board members were able to feel comfortable without having training from OnBoard. Our internal team fielded a few questions but it was not time-consuming at all to implement this software.
Our favorite feature is creating the agenda and board book within OnBoard and letting our members know when they are ready to view. This is very efficient compared to the many emails we were sending with attachments before we started to use OnBoard. The calendar feature is also nice for members who sit on multiple committees and the fact you can add your zoom link in or do zoom integration is great!
Nachteile
So far we don't have any complaints about the portions we have used. I do think the signatures and approvals look like it could be more difficult to use than the board books but we will see when we get there.

User-friendly
We use OnBoard to manage our Board of Trustee meetings and documents and it is a great time saver and prevents emailing sensitive information and prevents printing out reams of paper documents for each meeting.
Vorteile
The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive. Setting levels of security for the different committees and officers is a critical feature. We have a complex set of permissions but we were able to implement them in OnBoard. Some of our members are not that comfortable with technology but everyone was able to use OnBoard to see their documents and vote.
Nachteile
This is not really a criticism but it would be nice to be able to input more information about members like a Bio, titles, previous experience, etc.

Board managment
It has been good. Most of our cons are related to use and you can't do much more to make it easier to use. That is all on our user group to make themselves more familiar with the service.

We use this strictly for board management and it has been helpful for that. All in all it has been easy to use. Just need more board members to actively use it.
Nachteile
Still haven't gotten the hang of messaging and meeting reminder, etc. that go out to board members. It feels like they get to many updates.

A Smooth Transition
We had not been using anything other than zoom and emails galore prior to looking for a board platform. We asked around for recommendations and did all the sales presentations and free trials. We selected OnBoard as the price was reasonable and it had an integrated zoom option so we could use the one system for everything. We made every effort to set this on a good path with training for our board members and complete testing before opening it to our board. We've been very happy with it so far and working on complete adoption. We would highly recommend!
Vorteile
The integrated zoom is a huge bonus! We also love being able to keep everything in one place and clear out emails!
Nachteile
Unfortunately the zoom integration doesn't allow for a room view, just the speaker view which has limited our full use in one place.

OnBoard Experience
There are ample Board portals and I have had to do my due diligence on each one and their capabilities, and OnBoard was able to meet all my needs, very pleased with the decision.
Vorteile
The Governance add-on is very helpful and efficient. As we establish a new normal and meetings are virtual, it almost eliminates the unnecessary travel and inconvenience.
From the Account Executive to the Implementation Team, it has been a very smooth transition.
Nachteile
The meeting minutes add-on will be a nice addition once it is released.

OnBoard Review
This software exceeded my expectations. I was relieved when I was able to build the board book, set permissions and let the board go from there without a lot of back and forth with documents.

OnBoard is so easy to use and manage. Customizing permissions and making notes right on the meeting agenda is so handy and all of our board members love using it.

I don't have any complaints thus far. We have only used it for six months and are still discovering new ways to use it.

OnBoard for a small trade association
Very positive. We are just starting to get our Board and Committees to use all of the functionality but COVID really made this platform a godsend for us during this time.
Vorteile
The ability to have all of our Board meeting materials including agendas and handouts in one place that is centered around the zoom platform is the right solution for our remote meeting needs.
Nachteile
Some of the file folders could be more intuitive in how they order documents. For example, documents are not ordered by date added which for our purposes would be better for folders that are building large numbers of files.

Great user friendly product for board management
It has been a good experience. Although I felt a little misled from my first exposure to the product. I felt that right away, all of the features were an ad-on. That was a little off-putting.
Vorteile
I love that this software offers a one-stop shop for our board members. There is no need for them to utilize any other means to access boar or committee meeting information, past minutes, supporting documents, etc. I love that meetings can be integrated from the software directly to my calendar. I am a new user and the customer service has been great!
Nachteile
It would be helpful to be able to have more access to member's assignments to specific documents, folders, etc. It would be nice if when you clicked on a profile, you could see what that person has access to.

My overall experience with OnBoard has been great! The onboarding to the software has been amazing! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] took care of us and even helped after the onboarding process! Any question I had, she was always there to answer.

Purchased the AGB OnBoard Portal for University Foundation Meetings
The customer service since we purchased the product has been phenomenal.
Vorteile
The Missouri State University Foundation purchased the OnBoard software in November 2020 to streamline and make our Foundation Board of Trustee meetings easier to get in the hands of our trustees. The customer support has been amazing and awesome. It is easy to set up one-on-one Zoom meetings with a staff member who has helped walk me through the process during our calls, and who responds quickly to email messages. The Help Center team also had a rapid response to a question I posed. Our first meetings are in January 2021 and I feel comfortable that I will have (hopefully) mastered the system before then. The system helps build your meeting agendas and you can attach documents for the meeting attendees to view during the meeting. We are very pleased with the product and would recommend.
Nachteile
We are new to the product, having purchased it a month ago. At this point I have no complaints.

User Friendly Tool
My overall experience was a pleasant with OnBoard. My OnBoard rep responded in real time and jumped on calls/meetings with me if I needed assistance with features on OnBoard. The help desk was quick to respond to my inquiries.

What I liked most about this software is the simplicity involved to create a meeting, agenda and add meeting materials on platform.
Nachteile
Yes, it would be nice to customize the subject line of the e-mail notifications that OnBoard pushes out whenever an item is added to the meeting page. This will assist members in keeping track of materials received.

We just had our first live board meeting in June 2018 using the portal. It was great! Liked...
Vorteile
I like that we can set up an agenda for a board meeting, and then be able to copy that same agenda to the next month's meeting (without the attached documents, of course). You can very easily see if you have missed uploading a document into the agenda. It is very user friendly; documents are easy to attach to the proper location in the agenda. It also allows us to store policies, procedures, or any other resource documentation we would like for our board members to have access to. This makes a nice contingency location for these policies too. We are just getting started with this portal, but from what we have seen in doing our first meeting using the portal, "it's a winner". Another great feature is that we can download the board meeting file and have it available for examiners.
Nachteile
We are just getting started, but so far I like it all. I had a couple board members that I didn't have an email address for, and it wouldn't let me build their user until I got the email address.

Onboard - Board Management Platform
The training and support from Onboard has been excellent. What can be a hard process (onboarding an organization into using a new platform) was made easy by great customer support. Using Onboard also helps to legitimize and demonstrate a level of sophistication of our board which will help us to recruit quality board members in the future.
Vorteile
This product is very user friendly both for the admin user and for those less than tech-savvy board members. It brings in all the documents, reports, and minutes into one place which assists our board to stay organized and on top if the things they need to-do. The onboarding of the platform was easy and seamless.
Nachteile
As a Canadian organization, we had to factor in the cost difference from US funds to Canadian.

Great system, easy to use, packed with features
Relatively simple implementation, we took a modular approach by adding what we needed to start with, then adding the other available functionality later on. All users have picked it up really easily, even those that are a bit less tech savvy

Its a bit fiddly across the different devices that can be used to access it, with different users accessing in different ways, it makes it a little harder to support internally

As for devices, due to restrictions on sizing on some, it can be a bit more difficult on devices like a Kindle or similar tablets.
