From day one, the attention I have received from the team has been second to none!

Vorteile
There are numerous things I like about this software! I appreciate how easy the software is to use. It has saved me hours of compiling paper documents for a board book. I can upload information as it comes to me in multiple file formats, and can reorganize the documents within the book effortlessly. When I first started using OnBoard, there were a few features that I had on my "wish list" (I wish it could do "x")--and the developers are so on top of things that I have seen many of my wishes come true as implemented features. They continually refresh the software to make it easier--not add extra steps like you can find with other software. And most of all, I value the immediate attention and service I receive from the team. They always pick up my call, and have an answer or solution ready.
Nachteile
There's a few minor things that could be tweaked, but overall it's an easy, clear and efficient system that has saved hundreds of hours and resource time and reduced the risk of mailing board books to members that live outside of our immediate area.

OnBoard is a great board meeting sofware, easy to implement and use
great experience
Vorteile
1. We use the tab "Actions" for approval of time-sensitive items in between Board meetings.
2. we use the tab "Resources" as a library to retain all important documents we want the Board to access easily at their convenience.
3. The convenience of uploading board meeting packages with easy access for directors at any time from anywhere (phone, tablets, laptops, etc...)
4. use of annotations features on documents.
Nachteile
No meaningful things i don't like. Maybe the user interface on the homepage can be more attractive.

OnBoard is great!
Overall experience is great! We use this software for our monthly board meetings and it has streamlined the process. We used to create a bunch of PDF files, then email via secure mail, then print a packet and carry to the meetings. Now, we just present the packet on a device of the board member's choice and go! Storage is great as well because it's contained within OnBoard and the members can keep their notes in their space also.
Vorteile
The software is very easy to use. Changing out documents when necessary is a snap. Publishing the book to the readers is easy as well. You can turn permissions on and off with the click of a mouse. Also, your readers can access the information from anywhere!
Nachteile
Maybe just learning the few tweaks would be the only negative - but that's with any software. Overall, I have no "cons" to mention. The customer support is awesome if you do get stuck.

Easy to use and set up Board Portal that is so much more
Overall very pleased. Wasn't complicated to learn initially and users have had very little trouble navigating it.
Vorteile
Ease of use for admins and users. Great for all all committees not just board meetings.

Would like the url share link to be customizable for a more professional polished look when sharing.

Streamlining board documents, calendars, contact information, and so much more!
This service is incredibly helpful for centralizing all calendars, files, announcements, surveys, and more.
Vorteile
We now have all of the files board members need in one central depository. We have a vibrant calendar that not only tracks RSVPs, but also eliminates the need for outlook calendar invitations. We also enjoy keeping the announcements pages lively and up-to-date.
Nachteile
The small idiosyncrasies that are easy to miss like granting permissions, etc.

OnBoard: Cost Effective and User Friendly

Vorteile
OnBoard is very user friendly for a variety of types of technology users.
It is cost effective and can be used in a very simple way or more customized for fuller integration with other systems.
The customer support is great as they are very responsive and friendly to work with and the online resources are also very helpful and easy to use.
Nachteile
Some suites have one or two elements that we would use but are only available in a bulk package at a set price so we can't fully pick and choose what we would use and not use.

OnBoard works well
Overall, our experience with OnBoard has been a positive one. We are using the technology to be more efficient and productive than what our past practices entailed allowing for more strategic discussions to be held .
Vorteile
OnBoard was easy to deploy for our board and board committee meetings. We now have all of our information available electronically, easy to access from anywhere and any device. It has provided much needed structure and organization to our meetings, allowing for more time to be spent on strategic discussions. We have also starting using the software for many other internal committees, to achieve the same benefits and reduce the amount of printing/paper that was needed in our past manual process.
Nachteile
As we conduct so many meetings on OnBoard, I have found it doesn't have a good way to organize them when you go back and look at past information.

OnBoard Review
My experience over the past year has been great. My OnBoard representative responds quickly to questions, the help desk responds quickly if there is an IT issue, and the program itself has everything I need to create successful meetings.
Vorteile
OnBoard has many functions and tools that are useful and time efficient when creating meetings, creating board materials within the meetings, and so easy for the end user to navigate and use. I especially love that OnBoard partnered with Zoom so I can create virtual meetings that allows everyone to participate either by phone, virtual zoom and combo of the two.
Nachteile
I wish a calendar hold option would automatically pop in/populate for my board members instead of them having to rsvp first to autogenerate a calendar hold. The current way isn't bad, but not easily found/figured out either. I spend too much time explaining to members how to get a calendar hold for their meetings.

Try OnBoard
Excellent. Their customer service is about the best I've seen, and they are continually making improvements to the platform.
Vorteile
Updating meeting schedules, content and board books has become so much easier. It also centralizes announcements, allows board members to vote between meetings on consent agendas, resolutions, other action items, and take surveys.
Nachteile
The survey feature does not allow for as much customization as other tools (can't we integrate a calendar feature or customize drop down menus, please?) We also had trouble uploading our data because of a large international contingency, but OnBoard customer service is excellent.

OnBoard is the Backbone of Our Board & Committee Meeting Materials
A few small downs, but overall the team has proven ready and willing to help address concerns and challenges. The platform allows our entire organization to maintain a large number of organized meeting materials, and consistently enables creative solutions to fit our needs.

Ease of use. The platform is intuitive, easy to get accustomed to, and and functionality is logical.
Nachteile
The directory and groups. With over 500 users, it can be a bit cumbersome to manage all of our groups with the current functionality.

Efficient to use and professional
Preparation for Board meetings are more efficient & collaborative, I can show and discuss them with my chair in advance. I often used to update papers after my PA had printed and emailed things out, requiring follow up information - we no longer do that.

It's saved huge amounts of time
We no longer email confidential papers
Trustees like having everything in one place
Being able to share and read annotations made by board members in advance of the meeting helps me to prepare

I am On Board for OnBoard!
Customer service has been great and is always ready to help.
Vorteile
I love that I can designate permissions for specific agenda items, not just the entire packet. Additionally, the fact that it is web-based and I can make changes anywhere at any time allows me far greater flexibility than my previous digital certificate based portal.
Nachteile
Sometimes it can take 2-3 minutes to "Build" the packet when you add one additional document.

Essential for Future Board Relations
In this new reality where virtual board meetings are essential to keep everyone safe, we felt ahead of the curve by already having partnered with OnBoard. Nearly all of our boards were already implemented and accustomed to the OnBoard portal, which made the transition to virtual meetings so much easier. Having an electronic board book makes last minute material edits a breeze instead of a nightmare!
Vorteile
This software is very easy to use and integrated smoothly into prior business practices. My favorite feature is the board book assembly. No more standing next to a printer for hours on end to assemble board books after spending hours organizing materials on your computer.
Nachteile
My least favorite feature is the management of permissions for every meeting and resource. The majority of our board meetings are open so we do not closely monitor access from member to member. However, we recognize we might be unique in this aspect and have benefited from the ability to manage permissions in certain scenarios in the past.

We Love OnBoard!
We LOVE OnBoard! We use it mainly for Board and Committee meetings and our users love the interface, especially using the app on their iPads. It is easy to use and have many great capabilities!

Ease of use and real-time document upload. The web-based platform is superior to previous programs we have used.

Sometimes the website can freeze up if left alone too long, but otherwise we have not had any issues.

Huge timesaving platform
Vorteile
I appreciate the instant updating and sharing materials for meetings. Initially this was purchased to help with virtual meetings, but even now that were back to in person meetings, this platform saves A LOT of copying, printing, etc.
Nachteile
There isnt much I can think of as a con, it works great as intended. I know there are many features I don't use, but what I do use, is great.

I'm onboard with this app!!
It's great because all of my employees have the exact same task to a certain degree that they have to complete and they all have different jobs and they'll have different schedules so they're able to plug into the same program to get the same information and do what needs to be done it's amazing

OnBoard - Easy to use and saves time
It is very easy to use and helps report generators to save time. The admin functionality is extremely user friendly and the product is easy to use for boards of all ages. This product has saved a lot of board meeting prep time, improved on the ease of getting information to board members, allows for more information to be made readily available and able to go back to information previously presented. The system allows for a secure method of getting private information to members that need to review information to make sound business decisions.

Great Product
We have board members all over the United States and it was expensive and difficult to get them meeting materials before meetings in an efficient and cost effective way. Being able to post documents as we develop them and ahead of meetings has been great. Regular updating ha been good. We should start using the group edit function to allow the board members to have input on documents is our next step. Overall great functionality
Vorteile
I like the value for the investment we've made and now that we are more comfortable with it, the software is proving to be a great resource especially since we have board members all over the country.
Nachteile
It can be cumbersome creating and using the agenda, especially as we upload documents to specific agenda items. You also have to use it a lot to get comfortable with creating agendas and then editing. If there was a step-by-step cheat sheet one could have access to it would help. I don't use the software every day so when I do post items and create agendas I find myself having to basically start all over again.

Easy to Use, Robust Security
Vorteile
This software is very easy to train, even to technology novices. I also really like the ability to set security and read/write or read only permissions and virtually every level of a meeting. Selectively sharing comments within the book is another plus.
Nachteile
There are a couple little things that seem to catch people the first time they use it, but after that it is pretty easy and I have no complaints. Everyone seems to get stuck on the Agenda Visible vs. All Visible setting the first time around.

OnBoard continues to impress
We are relying less and less on paper, and with the switch to OnBoard we can capture voting, conflict of interest statements and more on the platform.
Vorteile
OnBoard is constantly updating their platform and making it more and more user friendly each time. Uploading documents is fast and easy !
Nachteile
Suggested improvements would be to link directly to "resources" from an agenda/board book. Ability to organize resources in own preferred order. Would like to select certain items for the homepage instead of a folder/resources.

Very positive - Highly recommend.
Vorteile
We have been able to streamline our voting process for our loan committees bankwide. It has helped immensely with the efficiency of the process. The meetings I am involved with have been easier to put together prior to OnBoard.
Nachteile
I think there is some improvement needed on the Admin settings, notifications (limiting when they are sent out to all attendees when the status has changed), and also the sorting of the actions or being able to find them when searching.

Easy to Use and Quick to Figure Out!
We were able to set up OnBoard very quickly and being posting information about Board Meetings, remote access links, and Board documents right away.
Vorteile
My Board, my [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], other Vice Presidents, and I all love how easy it was to learn how to use OnBoard. It is very intuitive.
Nachteile
I would like to see better branding options so we can add our own brand in more easily. That being said, the aesthetic of the platform is very pleasing.

It provides a true central hub of information for our staff. We share a lot of info with our staff and the software allows us to ease off the email bombardment because people come to site to look for info.
Nachteile
While the set up options are good because there are so many options, that many options in front of you while you're still catching your bearings can feel overwhelming. This isn't really a problem with the software, more the implementation process.

Easy to Use
On-Board helps keep meetings flowing. It keeps us on task. It keeps our information in order and consistent. Better meeting flow leads to quicker (more productive) meetings which then leads to more time to do the things you have to do - probably tasks from the meeting. I can't imagine going back to the emailed agenda and 20 attached documents again. One place, one order and no printing...

I am on several committees that use this to organize our meetings. I really like the book feature. Having all of the agenda items in one place and in order for everyone helps the flow of the meeting. Everyone has the some information. Before - we would email attachments to everyone in the meeting. We would then email updated versions because something changed. Then in the meeting, we would have to describe which attachment you are on. Most would print out the attachments. Now that we are all viewing the same docs in the same order, meetings are more efficient and fewer docs need printed.
Nachteile
I would like a view that would allow me to view JUST the book - a popout of the existing window. A single sign-on feature would be nice as well. Could a link be created on the Portal to automatically launch and sign your user into On-Board?

I use this tool as part of the Board. We receive notices, files, and vote using On Board.
Vorteile
the dashboard is easy to read and follow. Also, the help button is very good. Your phone support is good as well.
Nachteile
It is difficult to print a file or power point presentation. I need to be able to print easily once I open the file. At this time, I do not get a download button option.

Simple, excellent features
Both our administrators and our board members adapted to using OnBoard very quickly! Our primary user says she loves the product every time she prepares for another board meeting - OnBoard truly works for us!

Drag and dropping documents into agenda. Creating the agenda is setup quite nicely.

OnBoard Software
We have gone completely paperless with our meetings and everyone loves the note taking ability within the app.
Vorteile
The software is very user friendly and very easy to use, even for older users. And the support is excellent.
Nachteile
I guess the only complaint would be that the program does not automatically refresh as new information is added. If someone has the program open, before new data is added, they must exit and re-enter the program to view the new information.

Timesaver/Lifesaver
OnBoard has been an incredible timesaver for me. It has enabled me to pull together all of my meetings in one place and makes sharing documents quick and easy.
Vorteile
The software enabled me to place all my committee and board meetings in one convenient location and eliminated the need for paper copies. Changing out documents is quick, easy and instant. I am able to call up documents for future reference and it complements regulatory reviews. For those who wish to print copies, the download and print features are quick and easy to follow. It has saved me a great deal of time!
Nachteile
In all honesty, I do not have any complaints or dislikes.

OnBoard Promotes Efficiency
We use OnBoard for all Board meetings, Committee meetings and Approvals. It creates efficiency as we longer have to prepare paper packages, distribution is electronic and it is our permanent archive.
Vorteile
The ease of implementation/very user friendly.
Nachteile
The interface with Outlook has been problematic.

Great platform!
I think this is a great platform for ease of organization and sharing documents with members.
Vorteile
I did not have any formal training when I started my position. I found it to be user friendly and easy to learn, make changes, etc.
Nachteile
I haven't found anything I don't like! OnBoard has been easy for all to access and manipulate.

Overall good, especially recently we have few to no issues and our older committee members now have significantly fewer issues getting logged in. (Although now that I say that, there will defiantly be one for the next meeting)
Vorteile
I find the ease of creating/adjusting meetings to be the best part. What we did before was stone age compared to this product.
Nachteile
I think that based on how we use the product the thing I like least or would like to see as an improvement would be to be able to invert the list or sort the list of past meetings? Or possibly be able to set up the "Template" meetings as the first ones in the list. This is a minor inconvenience, but we have somewhat built master meetings for our ongoing committees and they show up at the end since they are the oldest meetings.

OnBoard makes our meeting on time!
I strongly support and recommend OnBoard for office purposes. Its saves time for physical meeting and very modern tool to use .
Vorteile
OnBoard is a very reliable software for our office meetings. The entryway is very easy to use and convenient. The most amazing features are- Zoom reconciliation, paper-free work, and continuous experiences. Can be used from any device. Keeps virtual meetings alive and time savings. Communication with team members also its other features. Survey conducting, opinion from board members also possibles. OnBoard really keeps our meeting onboard!
Nachteile
I do not have any issue with OnBoard. They are continuously upgrading and making it more convenient and user-friendly.

OnBoard for electronic meeting material
It's wonderful to have electronic documentation that everyone can access, rather than printing large binders that have to be sent to everyone and brought to the meeting.
Vorteile
Works great for documenting and distributing all of our Board meeting materials electronically. Easy to update materials, and this way everyone has access to all of the same updated documentation at the meeting. Very user-friendly. Also nice to be able to go back to previous meetings and pull up old documentation easily.
Nachteile
So far, the software meets our needs perfectly.

Review of OnBoard - the Godsend for organizing meetings!
Having everyone able to access one version (the most up-to-date version) of the agenda package for any given meeting ensures everyone is on the same page and no one should be looking at older versions of any documents included in previous packages.
My Director tends to change her mind in relation to documents in agenda packages as well so it's great that I can upload things separately and keep changing documents without affecting the other parts of the agenda package and this can all be done before it's even "published". Also, most importantly, no intended recipient receives numerous e-mails showing just how many changes to a package have been made.
Vorteile
I love the newest updates to OnBoard, in particular. We normally use Zoom software often for video conferences but, like many others now, it is so much more frequent so it meant that I had to shift back and forth between the two programs. Now that the software for each works together so they can "talk" to each other, it makes arranging meetings so much faster and more efficient.
Nachteile
The learning curve. lol But, seriously, not having the OnBoard software work with Zoom before. I'm so glad that has changed.

I adore OnBoard!
OnBoard makes the Board and Executive Staff experience much smoother. Having all of the documents readily available and at your fingertips at an easy to access place is fantastic.
Vorteile
My favorite feature is the Minutes Builder. It makes the minutes much easier that prior to having OnBoard. I also love my Customer Success Manager, [SENSITIVE CONTENT]
. She is amazing!
Nachteile
I do not feel there is anything I dislike about OnBoard.

OnBoard Improved our Organizational Governance
Vorteile
The simplicity of OnBoard is its strongest feature. I manage the governance of 10 boards and committees within our organization. The implementation was seamless and users of all demographics have been able to transition easily. I also appreciate the ongoing education they offer through monthly webinars. They also release new product features often and stay up to date on what their customers need.
Overall, OnBoard is a highly effective system that does exactly what we need it to do, without a ton of unnecessary features.
Nachteile
You can track attendance per meeting, but I wish OnBoard could compile attendance over a certain timeframe.

Hits and Misses
Overall it has worked reasonable well for our organization. It is a stable product which can be accessed using several different methods. New features are added regularly. Videos introduce new features. Nice user and group management.
Vorteile
Allows an organization to have several distinct groups that can each manage their meetings. Private annotations of attachments.
Nachteile
Per-user licensing model. iPad app supports Touch-ID, but I have to re-activate it each week. Limited length of agenda item. Cannot change the format of the agenda item numbering/outlining. Public publishing of the agenda requires extra steps.

So Happy with OnBoard!
Vorteile
The ease of use of OnBoard and being able to train others will minimal difficulties has been incredible. It has also become a very valuable tool to store all of our Board of Trustees meeting information and resources. No more paper copies! OnBoard has made this whole process so smooth and seamless and the support from our account rep, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], is the icing on the top. She is always there to help, train, coach, etc.
Nachteile
I truly have not found anything I do not like about the software. And, every time an update to the system comes out, its even better.

Very user friendly, sleek portal
Since purchasing OnBoard, we have saved a significant amount of administrative time not to mention postage and stationery costs. Our Board find it really easy now to navigate to one place to find current and past Board papers or to locate details of future meetings.
Vorteile
I love the user friendly design and navigation. The dashboard makes it very easy to keep track of upcoming and past meetings.
Nachteile
Sometimes the formatting on some word documents doesn't come across when uploaded as part of a 'book'.

Wonderful Software
Vorteile
We have used Onboard for almost two years now and we absolutely love the features. They continue to make the software better with each update.
Nachteile
Overall, I don’t see any major weakness with OnBoard. They listen when you have issues, which is nice to see a company listen. They continue to develop more features year after year.

Board Packages
Very satisfied and great experiences using platform for board meetings.
Vorteile
I have great customer service experiences. I have one person I can always go to for questions, and then if he doesn't know he'll get me the person who can. He's very on top of training or asking if I have any questions about the new features. We will be training our board members here soon on the new features thanks to our reps willingness to help.
Nachteile
If you make a mistake after publishing you can't always fix it without re-releasing it to all members involved.

Using for over a year now
OnBoard allows our Board Directors to see the latest materials from their mobile devices. With the global admin feature I am able to see who has logged in so that my 'friendly reminders' are targeted to those that have not.
Vorteile
The software is convenient to use and share information with our Directors. Once you get the hang of how to upload (which is really just clicking and dragging files) it is very quick to create new packets or content for your Directors.
Nachteile
As a new user some kinks are still being worked out, although that is part of the fun... to be on the front end of the product launches. The team really listens to my ideas and concerns. I've seen some things implemented that I had on a 'wish' list.

OnBoard support has been great. Savings to the organization because all meetings are paperless since using OnBoard.

All the documentation is in a central location with the ability to share with Board and Committee members. User friendly.
Nachteile
Inability to search for members availability for setting up meetings. Not a live broadcast, still need to use a conference call feature.
