The free version has a lot of things going for itYou only need to be a little creative and you can turn one of the free templates into anything you want, or start from scratch. I like the flexibility and that there are lots of icons and shapes available

If you're not creative, you might want to level up to have access to over 600 templates. They have templates for everything and honestly it makes it so much easier and quicker to just choose one, and fill in the info you need.

Templates, ability to create fun visuals, easy to upload pictures to add to visual. They are easy to share and can be password protected or made public.

Nachteile

Only con that comes to mind is that the edits are live as you make them; meaning I can't make all the edits I need to make and then publish the document for others to review/see (they see the edits as I am making them).

Huge help to my small business! This platform allows drag and drop editing that is simple and easy to use. Flyers, posters, and presentations are easy to pull together using the existing templates. I only have the free account, and it is really all I need for my uses. This is a great tool for developing professional looking materials!

It doesn't always like safari browser, b going to chrome fixes everything.

Piktochart is absolutely the best infographics creator in my opinion. They have a decent selection of graphics and elements available for free, and their results are very professional-looking. The design of the software handles the nature of the strange size of an infographic quite well.

In the free version, there is still a limited amount of elements you can choose from, which makes it a bit difficult to achieve the results you may envision, but you still can create an image that is functional and modern.

What I like most about Piktostory is the workflow. I can quickly upload my video, title it, view the transcription and edit if necessary, and then share on social media sites. In a manner of minutes. Piktostory has increased the number of likes, views, shares, and responses to my content. It is now my go to product in covering Notre Dame athletics and others are following my lead.

The templates make Piktochart a great asset for any beginner needing to convey their organization's information. The software allows easy use of different graphics, and assists in formatting your information in a way that is clear and helpful. Templates also have creative ways to display information.

Nachteile

Piktochart can be a bit limiting for more experienced design users. Some elements are hard to create if you don't obtain the element from an already created template. The free version limits your ability to download PDFs or generate high quality exports.

If you are a beginner and need an easy to use tool to create simple designs, Piktochart is for you. It was my go-to for small projects like invitations to events.

When it comes to using graphics, the versatility is just not there. I would not recommend this product for infographics.

Overall, I love the ease of use. Anyone can use this software, from elementary schoolers to elderlies. I began using this software in fifth grade and it has helped me with school projects and now in college, presentations. The accessibility is amazing!

There were sometimes when I could not find the font that I liked. There are definitely good fonts but an interesting feature would be being able to create your own font!

I love the access to the templates and icon library. The text frames are really cool as well to find new ways to make text visually attractive and include facts and figures.

Nachteile

Not being able to upload custom fonts is big for us. Also, when you share a piktochart, the other person can't download it, they can only view it. This means we have to download a copy each time and upload it somewhere for them to be able to mark-up during review processes. I've found however that the design line-up is inconsistent- meaning when you're trying to align something the auto-alignment is a little wonky. Also, if you zoom in to say 300% something looks aligned, but when you zoom out to 100% there's space. I've found this inconsistency to bleed over to the pdfs as well.

I liked the fact that the software helped us quite a bit with designing our newsletter. Also, we were able to create different postcards and Facebook cards.

Nachteile

I did not like that it was not compatible with Outlook, at that moment. We have managed now to insert the images like PNGs and only it works this way.

Creating an infographic is easy and fun on this application. Lots of detailed templates to choose from. No experience in graphic design necessary.

As for the other features, I dont think this product is the best in its class. Templates are not as varied or creative as its competitors and effects/fonts etc are not as unique.

The quality of templates are really good, I would say outstanding.
The platform itself is not overloaded with features, which makes me comfortable to use.

Nachteile

Missing color picker tool, I had to enter the color manually when it was not available on palette.

Easy to create and edit compelling infographics using Piktochart templates as inspiration. I like how each template is divided into blocks for easier editing of each graphic segment. I use Piktochart regularly to draft infographics and other designs for clients.

There is almost NO learning curve for making really sharp infographics and PDFs. The stock images are really helpful, as are the templates.

I can't see how to change the font inside the chart tool for the percent marker on the line graph. It prints a bit blurry and I don't get how to bold it.

I appreciate how Piktochart makes it possible to drag and drop any element that you want within your project. It is easy to add and maneuver any text or pictures you want. I've used Piktochart to create info-graphs for three different projects at work.

The only thing I didn't like were the limitations with just using the free version. There were one or two very useful features that I had to pay to use (which of course is how the company creates the incentive to pay for the full version).

The layout is very simple to work with. As a first-time infographic creator, I've explored a variety of websites trying to find the simplest ones. This lands in the top 3.
I was able to craft a infograph from a template in less than 30min, and it even allowed for me to make changes that suited my needs.

Nachteile

Huge downside: templates are very limited in free versions. They provide a "lite" version, which is half the cost of the more useful paid option. This version doesn't allow you as much freedom though, so it's hard to justify the use of more templates without the extra functionality.
This doesn't take away from the platform though - the quality is there, just comes at a cost!

The design features provided by the service are diverse and allow a lot of flexibility in usage whether it be for a presentation or a quick flyer. Piktochart provides me templates to use for any situation which comes in handy when I'm on a time crunch.

The worst part personally for me is how there are a lot of settings and tools to use in the features which can be a bit convoluting. However, all that needs to be fixed here would be a tool guide or tutorial, but there are already some tutorials out there.

Piktochart is easy to use and has a great library of graphics and images. I especially liked the infographics templates and the very aesthetically appealing "Text Frame" options.

There were some difficulties with layering and click features in Piktochart. It is difficult to click on overlapping text boxes. I wish it were easier to size the overall image as well.

That the free package is quite small and I needed to purchase a subscription for the more advanced features, but I only needed it for punctual activities, not as continuous work. For me it would make sense to be able to pay for just a piece of asset created, for eg, not a subscription.

I really like the flexibility of the Slides/Powerpoints they offer. Embedding links and Videos are a breeze.

This site is also good for helping you get through a spend freeze or those days your designer is on vacation.

You can't upload your own typekit font. Interface trial is the font I'm required to use and it isn't installed in the software.

This is my go-to for making infographics or reports. It is very intuitive and easy to use. The graphics are professional and easy to re-use one downloaded. The interface is drag and drop with many templates and lots of support. There are many stock images that are easy to find and use as well.

Nachteile

Sometimes the interface can be glitchy/nonresponsive but I don't know if that's the software or our computers/internet connection.

I like that Piktochart is an infographic-creating software. It gives the students something to do that is not a PowerPoint or Google Slide or Prezi presentation. It allows students to use their creativity.

What I dislike about this product is that if you are not using it after so long, they disconnect your account. I like Piktochart, but I do not use it as often as I do other products. It would be nice to be able to keep my account open to be able to view previous Piktocharts that I've used for other classes without recreating my account.

It takes 0 design or dev experience to be able to jump into the tool and whip up a Grade A infographic is an hour or two. In a previous role, we were so efficient with it, we started building custom infographic plans for our customers.
