Useful for keeping everyone on the same page
being able to make 'to do' lists, view, update and share them constantly within the company as well as external companies and suppliers.
Vorteile
I like the fact that multiple people can see all information and edit without things getting lost. it also has some useful features.
Nachteile
its not particularly attractive, not a major concern but it just looks outdated. It would also benefit from a 'help' button being available for all users all the time.

Collaborate from anywhere
Vorteile
First to start off their customer service is phenomenal, lots of follow up and FAQ information at your fingertips. I enjoy that they integrate well with salesforce . Great templates to work together with colleagues on any type of project.
Nachteile
The project management software market seems stiff there is always a new product or a new collaborative tool out there. Quip separates themselves however sometimes it’s hard to get team members adoption or buy in on something new or different. No knock on quip.

Great note taking software to keep you organized on larger projects
Quip has been great to work with. Having an organized structure for keeping our files and notes has been really beneficial to several large projects that needed heavy collaboration.
Vorteile
Quip makes taking notes on large projects a very quick, easy, and accessible process. Having your notes accessible through the cloud is a great way keep tabs on how things are progressing.
Nachteile
Some of the features can be hard to locate when switching over from other comparable platforms. Other than that there isn't too much to complain about.

Great App to use
Yes, I use quip personally and loves it.
Vorteile
Quip is very user-friendly from the web version, I like the use of the apps to docs or calendar features. The use of mentions makes it easy to pass information around to your team. It also integrates my google drive, box, dropbox etc. The interface is lovely and warm, puts you in a mood for work. Love how it makes communication trends easy to access and follow. Overall the software is affordable.
Nachteile
Quip does not carry any reporting building features, it could also use some approval processes for project management.

Nice, But Not For Me
I would not necessarily recommend Quip, it just did not work out for me the way I was hoping it would.
Vorteile
I like being able to literally cross off your list of todos, It's nice to see a task completed with a nice strike through it.
Nachteile
What I liked least was how the organization and files were organized and laid out. It gets a little messy when you start creating to many files.

Great for use with Salesforce
It is easy for users to pick up on using with little training. Most people understand and have used Google docs before, and this just has a few more power features if someone really wants to dive in a learn to be a power user.
Vorteile
It is a Google docs like app for Salesforce that you can use within Salesforce natively to collaborate with coworkers. Great for keeping company information within the company database.
Nachteile
It does not offer enough value for the cost compared to employees using Google docs on their own.

No comparable alternative comes close
Very promising software right here! Got a few bugs to work out, maybe a few features to add, but in general, I am thoroughly impressed. Quip attempts to cover a large number of interfaces related to collaboration and excels at everything.
Vorteile
Chat is as good as slack
Docs are as good as gDocs
Support is as good as... well there's no comparison.
Nachteile
Minor bugs that will probably be worked out.

Easy and user-friendly!
I just switched from Asana (which I disliked immensely and found really clunky) to Quip and I LOVE QUIP! Quip is really user-friendly and easy to use and learn. I particularly like the checklist option, which makes it easy to see what needs to be done and what's been accomplished. My VA also likes it.

A good tool review
I tried out excel documents type. I like to use that for my check-lists creation, and i would like to see more functions in it. For example pressing ctrl and choose the lines you need. Or giving the colours to the text.

Great software tool
I like this software a lot. Although it can be slow, it is great to manage a program in one space that talks to other platforms. Great for team collaboration.

Team chat!! Love being able to have the team chat all in one place. Makes managing a project so much easier.
Nachteile
Software and/or updates can sometimes be slow or laggy. Other than this, I can not think of any other problems we have ran into.

Best so far
Having a business with branches and investors overseas is really hard. Thanks to destiny that i was able to discover unexpectedly this app. Realtime edits, easy reports and many more.

Quip Is Pretty Bad
SmartSheet is better.
Vorteile
The only asset to Quip is the fact you can update documents on the cloud.
Nachteile
I don't like this software at all. The desktop version and web versions are completely different and don't allow you to access the same features, it is extremely difficult to search for documentation or know which documents actually need review. Horrible design and UI as well. SmartSheet is better.

Nice t-shirt!
Honestly I'm not a good person to have review this. I went ahead and got the t-shirt cuz everyone on my team was doing it, but I certainly don't understand what I did to get it, and we haven't really implemented the software yet, don't know that we will - there's so many options out there and as a techy startup we get cycled through them all.

See above. I can't say anything bad, wouldn't want to negatively review you about something I know nothing about, but it's not exactly honest, either...
Nachteile
I am not thrilled in general about the abundance of types of software that do the same thing, or slightly different things, and the way they keep "upgrading" i.e. changing user interface so we have to constantly not only be doing our work but keeping up with the latest "fun change" in the name of "efficiency" or whatever...it's not efficient to have your tools change on you in a moments' notice so you spend hours relearning them rather than just doing the work/having the interaction you wanted to.

I didn't know how broken Google Docs was until I worked with Quip
I was moving along using Google Docs in my job without thinking of how inefficient it was. I was then recommended Quip by a colleague and after a week or so, I experienced a huge change in what I was focusing on. It completely stripped away any need I had for internal email; outside of calendar invites, I no longer use gmail. My entire company is in Quip and we use that to not only generate and do the work but also discuss it and use it to make decisions and finish projects. It's had a huge impact on my productivity. Big, big fan.

Solid Documentation Tool within Salesforce suite
Create and share documentation, lists, boards.
Vorteile
Great functionalities for sharing and tagging other users, tagging dates and times to auto-generate reminders, and integrate in-document features like charts, visualizations, lists, and boards.
Nachteile
Workflow for accessing files and folders is not as intuitive and organized, compared to typical local drives or even google drive for example.

Better replacement for Evernote
Font choices are great, less cluttered than evernote usage is intuitive. Transfer over from evernote was seamless and a breeze. Glad that evernote started restricting access which made me discover Quip, which is much much better.

My new swiss army knife for work
I didn't realize a tool like this existed until I stumbled upon Quip. The biggest problem it solved for us is bringing our ideas and projects into a single place. I don't have to search through email/skype/asana/confluence to find the information I need. Game changer. The other really cool feature that I've found more and more helpful is the mobile app and the ability to get mobile notifications from changes on documents I'm managing projects with.
Highly recommended.

So cozy and easy to use
Vorteile
The most useful aspect of Quip is its simplicity. It's easy to comment and it's easy to change and see changes and revert to previous versions
Nachteile
The only small complaint I have is that the text formatting controls are a bit limited.The other problem is how Quip doesn't work well with PDF's. It takes a long time to upload them.

I like that when edits are made to a document that those with access to it are immediately notified of any changes. In addition I like there is running history of the changes that were made to the document.
Nachteile
The copy/paste feature was not as robust. When I attempted to copy content from one source into the Quip doc the formatting was difficult to fix especially where bullets were used to define the content.

Great app!
Would be great to have spreadsheets download into Excel format. Great addition of adding pictures to notes.
