I have using After Effects for a while now and It has been really helpful to me. Here are the Perks of using it- Can make Transition effects from Scratch and with wide range of effects available in the library- Can be interlinked with other software of Adobe like Photoshop and Illustrator- Can be used for Motion Graphics, VFX and VIdeo Editing

Nachteile

Well after using it for a while I came across few turn offs- It consumes a lot of RAM- Crash issues happens a lot of times resulting in lose of unsaved data- THe UI of this software can be lil difficult for new users

It makes my life easier since i use since there are various ready made templates that cut my work in half.

I wish there was a blender plugin to ease the use of 3D modeling objects into your projects

Even though adobe effects requires more RAM to playback smoothly, I am able to still work around by adjusting the resolution sample to as low as quarter or even to a customized level. This does not affect the final product. Adobe After Effect is a layer based software and each asset can be sized up or down without necessarily cutting down long assets. I am able to employ many items and layer them appropriately on the timeline with a lot of ease.

There are Many things to learn and takes forever to render. i normally give it priority over any other tasks on hand.

I mainly use Adobe After Effects to add animations and effects to pre-production videos. The software has a lot of amazing effects that I can easily integrate into my videos. I love that Adobe After Effects makes use of layers so I can more accurately add my effects. The text editor is powerful and I use it to overlay graphics on my videos.

Nachteile

Adobe After Effect's render can take a bit of time to render my projects. The UI isn't the most simplistic so it does take time to learn.

It has a lot of great features when it comes to animating. I am not the most advanced user, but this program is hard to use. Like it is not for beginners. However, it is definitely a great tool once you learn it and it has great compatibility with other Adobe programs.

It is not easy to use. I think the layout is overloaded with information, and you need to know a lot of terms in order to operate it. There's a lot of trial and error when you are trying to create something new.

I love the ease of use when working with effects. And if you know any other Adobe product then it's pretty easy to understand how this one works since a lot of the options and keys are the same.

The render files get pretty big at times and can eat up space on a hard drive. But that's the cost of the work more than the product itself. I wish there was a way to estimate how much space something would take in case you might run out of room though.

What I like most about After Effects are its tools and the integration of other plugins, when you think you are already an expert in Motion Graphics there is always something new to learn and that helps you achieve more surprising results.

Managing layers can be a bit of a mess at times, but when you find a way to use the tools provided, like hiding layers from the timeline, changing colors, and so on, layer viewing is more user-friendly.

After Effect is a really common software for a very long time, I'm using this software for more than 6 years, and the software playback and interface look easy, After Effect has really useful stock plugins and you have the ability to add more professional plugins, you have advanced tools to make transitions smooth, you can change the playback quality for a good experience, cause the software is huge and need a good pc

Motion graphics in Adobe After Effects is second to none. The tools included are amazing, i rarely have to reach for a third party plugin to achieve a task.

Adobe After Effects can be a bit heavy on the CPU and the GPU. I find that you can't really get away with a half decent graphical card. But it's a professional tool, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Logiciel très lourd. Il occupe une bonne partie de la mémoire RAM, d'où des difficultés à l'utiliser en même temps que d'autres logiciels. L'utilisation est plus facile sur un PC gamer ou sur MacBook Pro.

I've used it for my best motion graphic work - including kinetic typography, animated logos, and animations - and also some editing across ad films and marketing material. Currently, I'm looking into the integration of Cinema 4D into my 3D workflow. The plethora of tools that it provides along with the external tools available makes it versatile and super powerful.

After effects could definitely use better memory management. The cache fills up really quickly and can make the software crash more frequently.

It's part of Adobe, which has some of the worst customer support in existence.

What I like most about AE is the easy of transitioning from PR to AE. If I'm editing a project and need to do a VFX shot I can simply send to and from each program with ease, which allows for a Streamline workflow.

Nachteile

What I Least like about the program is the slight bugs it has at time, switching from certain windows freezes up the system and crashes. Little stuff that frustrating but usually fixed with a simple restart!

The friendly user interface is best in Adobe After Effects. It's very easy to import different formats and start a new project. I use to add animation to my logos and text. Easy drag and drop of png files is the best option. It saves me a lot of time.

Freandly user e con possibilità di settare a proprio piacimento, è perfetto per chi utilizza già da tempo la suite Adobe o è alle prime armi. Utili i tutorial per ogni funzionalità.

Il modulo di render esterno tramite Adobe Media Encoder, è lento nel caricare i dati e i codici del progetto, una volta superato questo step, il modulo procede in maniera discreta e sufficiente.

Although there are loads of positives to this software there are a few drawbacks one mainly being the software constantly crashes upon opening which becomes a bit annoying after a while but also there are times where rendering can take up to an hour just for one scene

What I appreciate most about Adobe After Effects is the common approach to the other software in the Adobe suite. Working on the time line is a common and assimilated experience where you get your bearings after a few seconds.

After Effects once again confirms itself as the leading platform in advanced video compositing, representing in its latest incarnation a more complete solution and, now more than ever, 3D oriented by virtue of the integration with Cinema 4D, offered in bundled light version.

Even on Mac it enjoys a fast track, given the lack of an Apple product truly able to compete in terms of versatility and completeness.

What I dislike very little, however, is the resource consumption and the price. Being a MacOS user, I've ended up preferring Final Cut Pro with Motion, thanks to which I can carry out similar works consuming much less resources and with shorter working times. In this case, however, I have to give up working with team members who don't use MacOS. In my opinion, the pricing could also be improved to be more user-friendly.

I was able to find prebuilt lower thirds from people that worked seamlessly which is awesome. If you can think of something you want to do with a video, you should be able to within After Effects.

There is a large learning curve for beginners. I was confused a lot and watched a ton of YouTube videos in order to learn how to edit and create animations. I figure once you learn it and if you are editing videos all the time, this would not be a problem but for someone like me who doesn't really deal with video, it is very overwhelming.
