What I like most are the desktop and Chrome apps. With the Chrome app I can quickly take a screenshot of what I need in browser and the desktop app allows me to screen shot or create gifs in other apps. Sharing images and gifs is pretty easy and works well embedded in the CMSs that I use.

Nachteile

I haven't ran into any real negatives with the software. I simply use it for grabbing screenshots/gifs and sharing them around the web.

I wanted to find an easy way to save and share screenshots. This does exactly what I wanted and more! I like being able to screen record and I can also annotate which helps me share information and get feedback.

Nachteile

I use this program a lot. The only things I don't like is the chrome extension. I choose to use the actual software rather than the extension because the extension doesn't have all of the features.

Lost of options with the mac app. I just click on the option I want and the select the section of the screen I want to screen shot, make a gift and/or record a video of the screen and front camera.

Nachteile

I often find myself rebooting the app on my macbook pro computer because it crashes, so I have to use the web/browser version of cloudapp once that happens.

One of the things that I like the most about this tool is that it differs from others that have the same purpose, it provides a comfortable workspace or interface to capture screenshots, use a camera and make annotations.

It is an ideal tool for when you do an office at home since sometimes you need to have some captures recorded and the best of all is that it also acts as a cloud and works with other cloud systems, which is doubly incredible.

Despite being freeware, there are options that I would like to be more within reach.

It's super easy to use, has almost every feature I look for in a tool like this, and was really reasonably priced for my team. Disclaimer: I got this software at a big discount through a special promo. I'm not actually sure what the full price is.

CloudApp is a life-saver as I work in customer support. We use it everyday to give our users visuals. It's extremely easy to use!

There really isn't anything I don't like about CloudApp. The only thing I can think of is that I'd like to be able to edit the name of the clip in the pop-up window.

This app right here, is a game changer! I can create gifs to give to clients to explain onboarding process! Can also create screen share videos and annotate them for clients!

The thing I like least is.. there are UX bugs that could be fixed but they're minor things! Which I'm sure with time will get better!

A lot of features I don't use yet, perhaps a bit to much to begin with ! You really need to get on the settings before using it or you may have too much information.

Very slow and also seems to slow down my operating system. I also can't seem to drag and drop my files directly into the app and have to use the "Upload from computer" button which slows me down.

Some of the how-to explanations are complicated and only make sense after spending some time trying to remedy the issue with your team.

I love how easy CloudApp is to use! Really makes it super easy to share screenshot and even draw on them as well. CloudApp is saving me for so much extra work!

Some of the previous versions was a bit buggy... However, most of the bugs seems to have been fixed! Sometimes CloudApp is using too much memory just on idle... with only 8GB RAM this is crucial issue.

This app is awesome because it is so dang easy and convenient and flexible to share stuff. It's actually a pioneer in many of those aspects.

They pivoted and changed their model without adding a lot to it. It's not worth it for me to pay for this to send funny things to my friends. And I have other options I already pay for for business uses.

The annotate and drag and drop in a mail option is very useful to explain something to a client when needed. I also love the video feature for my tutorials.

Firstly, this has made sharing images so incredibly easy for me. I've been using it to share examples from my screen on Whatsapp, Messenger and in emails - the change from my old versions of either dropbox links or heading off to the desktop screen on my Mac is a thing of the past.

I love the annotate option, and the fact that it's so easy to do. I'm only just getting started with the video capture options so can't comment but it does the basics I've described so well.

Nachteile

The fact that the information about what it can do is a little difficult to find. It's a hugely feature rich product and all the things it can do is hidden away in a tiny square.

CloudApp has been a true discovery. It's made it very easy to share screenshots and quick videos with all my students and other people I work with. I love how you can choose to have the screenshots go to your clipboard immediately so you can just paste them on emails, Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, etc.

Nachteile

The only thing I don't like is having to organise the pictures once they're uploaded to the cloud. However, this isn't really an issue, as I don't really care how they are stored online.

I love how simple this is to create a quick screenshare video with a mic voiceover. It's very smooth and streamlined and has simple embed codes. No need to upload videos to YouTube or Vimeo for new clients!

Nachteile

The software takes a little time to get used to before you fully understand what it's capable of. Possibly a better tutorial would help but maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention!

It's so much easier to tell people with pictures/gifs/videos. I've used this to show people the bugs I'm finding on sites. You can even annotate gifs. How cool is that? Gone are the days of reporting bugs with words.

It's simple to use, but not as simple as it could be. Annotation is not that straightforward. You have to dig deeper into another menu/screen for it to be apparent that you can annotate a picture or gif.

I am new to this product. I found that it is fairly easy to use. I am still messing around with it and ive really only made some animated gifs. But so far its a pretty good platform

The support is impossible to deal with extremely slow with the response and forget about trying to get the support on a live meeting.
Even though the company is trying to improve communication with customers,

Great range of functionality and possibilities. CloudApp is a tool for screenshots, video sharing and collecting various kinds of data out oа your desktop. Also, it has integrated a lot of sharing options to make work with it comfortable.

UI is also great, there has been done a lot of work there (maybe to much) but in general the app is very interesting and promising.

*Rather slow and needs some extra CPU resources
This app almost killed my computer while using it with other power tools. Great functionality comes with great issues and sometimes it can be just unbearable.
If you have a great commuter with a lot of spare RAM - go for it and see all the benefits. Otherwise - define your needs and stick to something easier to work with.

The editing tools, are not working quite correctly, just yet. I have also encountered the web page a little confusing (to eliminate or edit items). I might not been doing it right.

The best thing about CloudApp is that it saves our remote team so much time. We’re always sharing password protected links with each other and clients. With CloudApp we can do this without all the hassle. We also use it to create tutorials. It’s the one tool we all use.

I'm worried about how much worse it'll get once the paid trial ends. I also feel that using your OS' naming scheme in the URL provided for the upload makes the links too long and ugly.
