More than a calendar
I was an early adopter when it was simply known as event booking. It was great just as a calendar but now venue Ops does so much more including the ability to use it on my phone.
Vorteile
It’s ease of use. Ability to store notes and documents for each event.
Nachteile
The way it prints is clunky. You need to export the calendar and then print instead of a print button.

Slow and duplicate entry
I am not fully satisfied with Ungerboeck software it is quite confusing about duplicate entry

Sales Dashboard is very impressive and give a detail of each sales person activity

Love VenueOps
It has made my job much easier in regards to booking events and inputting all of the promoter contact information in one swoop vs. multiple different pages.
Vorteile
The ease and functionality. The booking process is much easier for our multi-facility campus. I like that contracts can be created within the site.
Nachteile
The financial aspects and running reports could be cleaner.

CBC Tulsa Review
We are currently trying to get catering and tech to use Venue Ops. They have been great working with us to find a solution to get those departments involved.
Vorteile
It is very user friendly. I love being able to attach PDFs directly to my event orders.
Nachteile
There are a few adjustments we would like to see, but not enough venues need the same adjustments so they will not be implemented.

The software is very flexible - there are many ways to get things done.

The flexibility is also a challenge, at least for us, as staff took different routes to accomplish tasks - which has caused confusion and some errors along the way.

The new reporting tool is very powerful and has allowed us to analyze our data in more sophisticated ways.
Vorteile
We appreciate how user friendly it is. Also the client support team is the best I've ever had the pleasure working with!
Nachteile
Not as customizable as EventBooking Classic. But our Sales team is finding VenueOps to have more advantages than disadvantages

It took a while, but I'm really starting to enjoy it.

UBS User Friendly
Overall is very good and also the New Vers. 30 is very promising and looks really amazing , and we are looking forward to start using it soon in the very near future

The software has been very valuable to us, the many different reports it can generate help in long term planning. The support team (Catey Pomeroy in particular) have provide answers to our questions quickly. She has even done some work that I am sure should have been done by us but she did it quickly and without hesitation. I can't think of any con's, every time we have a question or suggestion it is either answered or taken into consideration for future plans by Ungerboeck Great product

Love that I can see in one glance the space that is booked on any given day.
I think after I learn how to put in an event work order with setup and equipment it will be easier. Right now we are using the program to block space & room rental. We have to go back in and add any equipment after the fact because we are not doing event orders (work orders is what I think you call them) Caty is setting up a training so I can learn more on how the service order works.
