Pandemic period taught us to manage document control differently, and DocuSign will definitely make your business managed. It is secure and have digital trace of a signature, so it makes your agreements a legal document.

It is a bit complicated when you creating template for your document. If you have often correctionsin it, you have to upload several times one Template, and there is no option to edit template itself in a platform, probably it is made so for security reason, but it is time consuming.

However, the graphical user interface where the recipient has to sign the contract digitally still looks poor, the blue color looks old-school and obsolete. Plus the design of the yellow arrow is also not modern. It is sometimes confusing not knowinGood tool in general, however the user interface is not very beautiful & confusing sometimesg what I have to do the first time I land on the contract signing interface.

The pros of docusign are that it is a critical feature that is easy to navigate and ensure that required and classified documents are signed. Docusign provides extreme convenience and allows for representatives to ensure that client’s documents are completed within a timely and convenient manner.

There are not really any specific cons to docusign. The product works extremely well within the financial industry.

First of all, DocuSign is a popular choice for many companies, which makes it a seamless technology to use with your employees, vendors, and clients. It's easy to have someone sign a document with the system because it's widely used so people are familiar with what the interface looks like and how they go through the steps to fill in forms and sign documents. We don't really have to train people on how to use it since it's so intuitive.

Another big benefit is the ease of use of the software on any device. I don't have to worry for days if someone can figure out how to open a document and sign where needed, they can just pull it up on their phone or computer and complete it in a matter of seconds. Seems like a small thing but compared to using pen and paper or another software this is something that saves us so much time.

I also love that the website interface is customizable with your colors and logo. Our company rebranded our logo and colors recently so I've had the chance to set up our DocuSign Brand twice now. Both were very easy and this allows for a very professional look and feel for those who use the system.

After years of working in HR without an electronic signing platform, and after using a competitor to DocuSign at another organization, I can now say I cannot live without this system. Their prices are fair, their product is so easy to use, and I have so much more time to focus on other stuff in my role, not worrying if someone can figure out a signature.

Nachteile

The only thing I wish we could do is take the data submitted into a form (for example, a number put into one box and the name of who entered it) and then put that into a trackable spreadsheet. But, this is not the main functionality of the system so I get why this has not been fully flushed out yet. Otherwise it works great for all the ways we use it.

When you can't be with someone in person, this is a terrific alternative. It can also be used to highlight specific sections of a document for others to see. As an alternative to using fax machines, this is useful. Also, it's a lot more convenient than sharing a photo of a paper that's either blurry or backward.

Nachteile

There are a few steps and procedures that are difficult to grasp or apply. It wasn't entirely apparent to me at first how I was meant to sign or countersign my paperwork. To get everything in the appropriate spot and done, I had to play around with a few different approaches. Faster and easier to use would allow me to concentrate on the content and ensure everything is correctly aligned. Aside from that, it's a pleasure to work with.

It is quick and very user friendly. Both internal and external use can be adjustable to the specific purpose and we have never had any issues with customers using the application.

Our customers occasionally can't seem to find the document when it gets sent directly to their junk file - this is a problem when we need to get a quick turnaround.

DocuSign allows us to easily send documents for signature both internally and externally. It is super easy to use as the sender and signer. We also utilize the integration with Salesforce. DocuSign's knowledge base is very informative and helpful, as well as the DocuSign support team.

It is not super easy to share signed documents internally. It would be great to add documents to folders and then share those folders with users in DocuSign rather than share full envelopes with users.

Super easy to send documents out for whatever you need, NDA, Contracts, Vendor negotiations etc. It tracks where things are and once everything is fulfilled it informs whomever is required when you send something out you have many options of how to stay informed and how to inform others. You can send to people without accounts and it is super easy for themto fulfill what is required of the doc

The things I do not like is the confusing pricing structure and there extended API's. I think they can be better about documenting how to integrate their services into your system. As a standalone system works great bringing into the fold for your own needs is tricky it seems

The ease of use of this software makes it very easy for not only my staff but also our clients to electronically sign their documents/disclosures. Accessible via a cell phone browser, computer/laptop/desktop documents are easily e-signed quickly and efficiently.

Sometimes it can be 'glitchy' and clients can't access the document to sign. But otherwise all good, this expected with any modern technology.

When sending documents that need to be signed to clients, DocuSign makes it very easy to do so while outlining exactly what needs to be completed on the document. Clients also love the features because it is quick and easy for them to use. Having the ability to send out mass communications that used to be very lengthy is now streamlined.

The perception of security is one thing that is noticeable with clients. No matter the situation clients are going to be worried when giving out sensitive information, so while it isn't exactly a DocuSign problem, that hesitation is there.

We can link it to our contacting software and have the agreements we need sent back to us in not time .It is also environmentally friendly due to the reduced need for paper.

I've always used a signature pad for clients to sign documents in the past. DocuSign is so much easier, as the client can sign remotely AND the signed document can be directed to the next level of approval, eliminating all the extra hands touching it along the way. Genious

Ease of use. The learning curve wasn't too bad. I'm technologically challenged but once I figured it out it was easy to use. Also easy to explain to a client how they were to respond at their end.
Not too many emails showing up when the next person responded.
Easy to pick up and save the final signed version in a usable format.
You can still copy notes from the document once it's completed and saved. A great feature.

Nachteile

Price. It became too popular to use and the increased expense forced my company to look for a cheaper alternative. That's when I realized how good DocuSign was...when I had to try and deal with an inferior product. Would love to go back to DocuSign.

Love how we can simply upload our invoices for approval and have the ability to mark up the document with things like signature panel, date, text boxes, approver title, and so forth.

I'd like to see this product integrate better with SharePoint and accounting software. It works OK but needs improvement.

Very easy to use to setup custom forms that need e-signed. It is easy to setup workflows and have multiple signers. Administration has a lot of options, but is not overwhelming.

It can be hard at times to setup custom validation rules. The built in stuff works fine, but when trying to do anything custom you never know how it will end up working.

DocuSign has moved the larger portion of the paperwork we need to do ,which saves up on space ,time and is also environmentally friendly . Integrated easily with our CRM and the interface makes it very easy to track the progress with multiple customers .

Not all institutions accept e-signature documents due to the added security risk ,so you can't rely solely on DocuSign ( yet ) .

Docusign allows our operation to be much more efficient. The agreements use to take 2-3 weeks to be signed and now it's less than a few hours.

DocuSign has been very instrumental in saving employee time and frustration from paper signatures. Paper and copying, scanning mailing are no longer required! It’s a great option for any firm that handles significant amounts of documents that needed to be signed by customers or clients. Their development and support group is always trying to enhance the security and functionality too.

There aren’t noticeable negatives. Though there have been times when signers have not been able to approve a valid signature and end up not completely the form. These have been few and typically due to user error.

I have used DocuSign off and on prior to starting my career in financial aid for higher education. Mostly I used it for personal reasons and I have always thought of it as an easy platform for legally signing documents without meeting with a business or individual in person. It speeds up the process of filing and processing and saves paper. I really began liking DocuSign when I started working in my current department where we handle federal documentation. DocuSign has helped us quickly and efficiently process students' financial aid without having to direct the student to fax us documents or come to our office. Not only does this save the time of the students, it also helps our office be more productive.

Nachteile

I have yet to find anything negative with DocuSign software. It has proven to be effective for our business needs.

This software has some really great features that allow you to add templates (minimizing re-filling out forms), set a signing order and see the history of the document. Meaning you can see when the receiver has opened it, signed it, and download the entire history of these actions.

I find that sometimes the templates default to having a 'required field' even though the command is not to be required. It isn't a huge deal, but takes extra time to have to go through and delete those fields or change them to not required.

DocuSign makes my business dealings a lot easier by allowing myself and clients the ability to sign forms electronically. It is very client friendly and I have not come across a situation where a client could not complete the signing process.

It would be nice if we could resend a signed document to be rectified if something was missed, instead of redoing the whole envelope and sending again. Also, sometimes the Checkmarks do not show up on signed documents.
