DocuSign has the most advanced data protection tools that makes it possible to sign confidential documents securely. It is easy to access on my mobile and laptop which allows me to sign documents from anywhere especially when am on the field. DocuSign is very easy to use and signing a document takes very little of my time. It also has a secure file sharing tool that makes it easy to share signed documents with the relevant parties.

No troubles encountered with DocuSign. I genuinely find nothing in DocuSign to dislike.

It's everywhere, and customers and prospects will all understand how it works and how to use it. Being ubiquitous is a real strength. And, if you have a very simple use case - like signing one single document - it works very well.

No meaningful innovation in the past decade. And the staff of people working on Sales and Customer Success have trended towards tone-deafness when it comes to listening to their customers and what they're optimizing for. And the roadmap reflects it.

I think it's pretty easy to send a contract pack, I like the emails you get when people sign. It's easy to link to Google Drive and works well for our contract signing process. It makes our contracts look professional and polished. People seem to find it easy to use.

I originally signed up with 5 seats, I wasn't aware each seat had a flat fee, so it ended up being expensive for what I needed (200ish contracts a year). I ended up deleting some seats which weren't being used. I'm not sure I get a renewal email with a price so I have to log in to see what I'm being charged. Another con is that sometimes docusign emails go to spam folders which is annoying, there's no way of me knowing this. There could also be a way of bulk downloading PDF completed contracts.

Cost - this service was very expensive compared to other subscription-based models.
Voided envelopes were deducted from the overall envelope allotment.
Was unable to see how many envelopes were left out of total amount purchased, this ability was available and then removed. I was told to ask customer service, then received the wrong information from customer service for this request, then I was told by customer service to obtain the information from my sales representative. This ability was taken away, it should be readily available.

Pricing is expensive, although its worth it.

I actually really like the tool itself. I've used it for many years. I like the notifications when someone has viewed the document and it remembers information about the signer so you don't have to re-type your name in when you sign it like with PandaDoc.

They have started ripping off users by charging per envelope. After being a user for many years with no measurement of how many envelopes are used, they decided they don't want you getting to use their software unless you pay for every single time you send an envelope. Considering I'm in Sales and sometimes you send envelopes that are not ready to be received and you are hoping the convenience will prompt closing a deal, this creates a waste of my service usage. I don't know who advised them to do this but what a cheap way to make a buck. What if NetSuite started charging you for every invoice you wrote? Sheesh. The software isn't being used like 10,000's envelopes. But now you have to pay for every 100 envelopes. If I could find a tool that worked like DocuSign I would gladly change but I haven't found one. And I only use the basics. Adobe should easily be able to edge out DocuSign but it is ugly and not easy to use. PandaDoc is what we now use for internal document signing so we don't push our DocuSign envelopes too high. But it is a weird name, what CFO trusts some email coming to them to sign a contract from PandaDoc?? DocuSign should go back to their roots; maybe raise your annual fee but don't charge per envelope! That's like charging for every 100 emails! What a ripoff.

The integration with some third-party applications occasionally presented challenges, requiring additional steps to ensure smooth operation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall benefits of DocuSign still outweighed the inconveniences.

I love the fact that you can customize your own templates in DocuSign. Since many of the documents we send out are repetitive, being able to customize a document once (with its multiple signatures and other fields) and using the same template for subsequent document delivery is a huge time-saver.

I like that you can drag & drop easily, everything about the process is simple. You can send contracts directly to emails in a few simple steps, Incredibly convenient for both the client and acct manager. I used to send via email and now the signing process is so much faster, and also makes them feel more secure.

I don't really feel there are many cons to docusign. I don't yet know how to implement a signature that can be on my end before sending, but can't say it's not an option... and complain about it because I may just not know how!

It's an easy and more secure way,there is no need of sharing important documents which are in need of signing. It saves time which was to be used why doing the manual staff work. It's the best that have used so far and it's always available anytime of the day.

We settled with Docusign because of its many top advantages. It is incredibly easy to use and navigate it's intuitive design even for our least technical team members and clients and this makes digital approval of large volumes of pages a breeze. This technology is affordable and even better it cut the cost of it printing, scanning and manually signing. Additionally, Docusign is the sheriff of convenience and it allows us to send documents via emails and drive for approval which are accessible through office desktops or mobile phone which speed up the rate of ratifying contracts and business strategies. While sending documents, Docusign allow us to specify the order in which the other party should sign. It allows us to clearly indicate where people should put their signatures, initials, or date. To ensure nothing slips off the crack, Docusign enable us to set automatic reminders to keep us updated and notify us when we need to sign a document. It also gives visibility of the status of documents signing process. I really appreciate that, Docusign really value security. Authentication and encryption of documents make them tamper proof and ensure that just the right people access them. This enable us to comfortably use sensitive business documents on Docusign and it has really hastened administrative tasks

Nachteile

We have not had any drawbacks with Docusign. We were able to seamlessly configure and adapt Docusign in our workspace, designate all parties that need to approve documents without any troubles. The tons of benefits we reap from Docusign outweighs any hitch and I therefore recommend it to other businesses to experience it and understand what makes Docusign really special.

One of the most convenient services I have used. Uploading is easy because it works every time and it's very quick.
The mobile application is capable of sharing files by email or text message. Clients report that it is easy to use even if they are unfamiliar with the service. They will receive an email or text with a link, which prompts them to review and sign. Once they have I will be notified immediately. The emails rarely end up in the spam folder regardless of the provider the client uses. Another convenient quality of Docusign!

I would like Docusign to have the app autosave more frequently. I have lost progress on documents and drafts. It was quite frustrating but thats the only problem I ever ran into while using it.
