Docusign contract open tracking was really powerful for us because it empowered our sales team to follow up and close deals in real-time.

Nachteile

Docusign is not user friendly UX and extremely restricting when it comes to customisation. We were constantly struggling with clients who couldn't understand how to sign because of the poor UX/UI. In addition, we wanted to add a lot of customisation to our contracts to make them appear like pitch decks but this proved incredibly hard in Docusign. We weren't blown away by customer success and were genuinely surprised Docusign was the market leader at the time.

Signature and API work. Need for support is infrequent.

Nachteile

Support is untenable, disinterested, poorly organized and excruciating to make progress with. We pay for the enhanced support and this was a poor investment.

A product that becomes powerfully useful, at least that is the idea, to be able to get for example: a signature. But in this case, virtuality plays as an ally, since it provides the opportunity to get that signature remotely, from pc, tablet or mobile.

Nachteile

While we said that it is "in idea" a revolutionary product. It is not shocking, its complexity and lack of practicality makes one think twice about recommending and even being a prolonged user of it. It is perhaps much easier and with many other shortcomings, competencies of this program, which will not have the modernism of this one, but perhaps it does have the practicality that the average user is looking for.

The fact that I get to go on long lunch and dinner breaks and stay out of the house for more hours because I am on the phone with customer support for 40% of my day.

As a quality control manager and chemist for a clinical laboratory running PCR tests for COVID-19 nasal swab samples, this software is really the biggest piece of electronic garbage I have ever used. I didn't purchase the software (my predecessor left it in place for me to figure out its replacement). It seems to me that there is a lot of piecemealing going on with the software and that they haven't really put together a product that they can handle the volume of documents I am currently dealing with this pandemic. I have sent so many e-mails, called so many times, stayed on the computer with representatives for hours sharing my screen and trying to troubleshoot what should be some really basic issues with e-signature software and there are still so many unresolved issues. Their customer support just plain old sucks! It's a pandemic and I need to be able to allow the physicians to bulk sign for batches of samples and it has basically turned into one of the largest cluster***s and bottlenecks of our operations.

Nous sommes deux. Ensuite, ils ont de nouveau augmenté le prix parce qu’ils le peuvent. Service client horrible, tout horrible, leur produit est bon, mais il ne vaut pas 120, même dans ce cas, vous êtes limité sur le nombre de documents que vous pouvez envoyer par mois.

Their pricing is not clear. Limitations to the number of envelopes that can be sent is NOT clearly shown on their pricing page (rather this is "hidden" in small print which is in a link at the bottom of the page). When you sign up for a yearly contract and exceed what they consider to be "acceptable use" you get a threatening email requiring a call from their sales department. I did this sales call and the solution proposed (mind you, we probably would have done maybe 50% more than their "acceptable use" for the plan I prepaid for) the quote for the next plan is 3-4x what I already prepaid. I declined upgrading and tried to limit my use. I still would get calls threatening to cancel my plan (they had me PREPAY for!) without any refunds offered. I got more than 6 rude, accusatory emails about this, each time I explained that I am an occasional user and the next plan was WAY more than I needed and each time this would get another rude / threatening email back. I completely wasted my money as a small business.

I would say the lack of more advanced features. Although it offers basic needs, DocuSign could be improved to attract higher demanding clients or consumers.

In its early versions, adobe reader did not offer this option, or it was not obvious enough to me as a business user. DocuSign was one of the fastest ways to get the job done.

It's nice that the document signing process is managed in one place, but the software needs to improve.

Nachteile

The site is so SLOW. I regularly have to log on and off to access a different page on the site because it gets stuck. It's difficult to find documents. My Quick View folders, like Authentication Failed, are empty, even though I know there are failed authentication files. It's frustrating that I have to search through all my sent files to find a file. They could improve this software a lot.

Docusign is a good tool for sending documents electronically, especially contract/quotes/sales orders. We have it integrated with our Salesforce instance which is great feature to have.

It's fairly easy to use from an end users viewpoint and has good customizations to fit our business needs.

Nachteile

The integration with Salesforce is lacking in some regards. Especially when it comes to user permission syncs. We often have issues where we provision users and Docusign doesn't sync this properly or somehow stamp an incorrect API username for the user which causes access issues. Also, I find it ridiculous that you can't even see how many licenses you have available without requesting that from your AE.

Getting documents taken care off without a fax/mail/visit seems is a fantastic way of cutting down on excessive paper, travel, resources, etc. Being able to handle business form the comfort of your home or office is ideal.

Nachteile

The problem that I have encountered on multiple occasions is that whenever I send something out to someone else, I need to have a call with them to walk them through the process of using DocuSign. I did not encounter issues myself, but for some reason the users seem either lost or apprehensive about the software.

DocuSign has been very instrumental in saving employee time and frustration from paper signatures. Paper and copying, scanning mailing are no longer required! It’s a great option for any firm that handles significant amounts of documents that needed to be signed by customers or clients. Their development and support group is always trying to enhance the security and functionality too.

There aren’t noticeable negatives. Though there have been times when signers have not been able to approve a valid signature and end up not completely the form. These have been few and typically due to user error.

The DocuSign concept is really great. It allows us to collect signatures and other form based information on official documents. It collects forms into an Envelope concept and allows brokering of signatures in specific order. It is especially helpful in expediting contract revisions. I especially appreciate the ability to collect initials, signatures, dates, and free text. The copy/paste feature when laying out signature fields is nice, which places fields in the same location on the next page.

Nachteile

The template document feature is not robust enough for my needs. It would be better if a template could be defined as an arranged set of fields required that can be laid out on a different document background. Currently a template is only considered a base PDF to start with. Also, defining multiple signatures for a single account is buried within the interface and is not easy to get to. The user interface could be given an overhaul to make more intuitive. There is a separate admin portal that confuses things for me even more.

It is difficult for the end user (the "signer") to update their signature or move forward without a signature.

I do not like the "envelope system" DocuSign operates with. it is unpredictable how many emails need to be signed and incredibly difficult to predict what is best to use a docusign for rather than doing esignatures

DocuSign makes it easy to share documents and forms that need digital signatures. In today's world with a noticeable uptick of home offices, DocuSign is a needed software between work from home employees and their employers.
