I really dislike the constant aesthetic changes to the site, especially when there was no reason to make a change. For example, a more recent change was "updating to a more modern look" - but it completely changed the layout of our invoicing screen, making it much more difficult to navigate and make sure all the required items are put in correctly. Also, you don't have the option to change the layout back to a previous version - you're just stuck with the new one - which is so frustrating.
It seems like as soon as you get used to one thing changing they make another change - without notice - and you have to learn the system all over again. In my work I truly don't have time to relearn how to use a system that should be easy to use. Very frustrating.

Remote access is also another great feature of QuickBooks Online, we can easily and safely access our platform from the convenience of our home, this has been really helpful for our team–considering that we work from home.

It can sometimes be confusing to delete or recuse an entry. It would be helpful to have user friendly options for entirely deleting an erroneous entry.

I've had times where I wasn't at my desk to run payroll or submit an invoice and was able to get the job done right from my phone or iPad. QuickBooks Online has even saved me during tax season to quick send out W2s to employees in only a matter of minutes. This is a trustworthy and reliable software that only continues to get better.

For my job, I am mainly using QuickBooks for all Accounts Payable situations. I enter all of my invoices as "bills" in quickbooks, by picking the vendor and the GL account the cost is associated to. Quickbooks allows multiple GL accounts used for the same invoice, unlike smaller accounting software's. after entering the bill, you just need to go over the the pay bills section and select the bills you want to pay. Quickbooks allows payments via a check, credit card, and even ACH. What I really like about Quickbooks are all of the reports you can run to see how the company is doing. I use the AP aging reports to make sure all bills are paid on time.

Finally, the customizable reports allows me to see how much time I have spent on different task and how much I have invoiced for that time.

I think the main challenges I have found with the time tracking has been sometimes getting the billing accuracy. This has been because all the tracking is not that automated meaning any simple error can go unnoticed and affect the overall billing. Additionally, it is not highly customizable to fit almost all projects and sometimes I am forced to use other tools to manage the project.
