Great Entry Presentation Program
PowerPoint makes it easy to create presentations that effectively communicate the message you are trying to present. The program is easy for beginners but can grow with you to bigger presentations.

PowerPoint does so much for a presentation program that you can easily use it for simple presentations that can still have a well formed and themed presentation.

Power Point has the Point
My powerpoint presentation for my disseration made my orals for the project come alive. The graphics in the slide was able to portray the emotions of depth I wanted to convey.
Vorteile
My powerpoint presentation through this program was extravagant. The graphics I used hightened the preformance I need to display.

I feel there was a limitation of option in the layout for the sides. I think more designs of layout for slides need to be added.

The old and reliable
If I'm in pinch to do a presentation, this will always be my default option. Because you can certainly create one to convey what you need to convey, in a matter of minutes.

How easy it is to create a presentation using it. Even if you have no experience whatsoever creating presentation, it will take you no-time to "acclimate" yourself to the user interface.

Vorteile
It has lots of great features. Not intuitive and easy to use at all though. It's also nearly universally known and used, so most people can at least powerpoint for basic functionality.
Nachteile
Not many templates. The frequent repeatable tasks of setting up each individual slide often have to be repeated. Creating a slideshow in powerpoint takes more time than in some of the other software out there.

Have used PowerPoint to do Board presentations about fundraising. Also always use it during our event to present Live Auction items with interesting visuals.

The Best!
I find it very easy to use, their templates are professional and the "notes" section is very helpful when giving a presentation. I don't have to have everything memorized!!

I absolutely love the pre-made templates that PowerPoint has available to you. When creating presentation for work on a monthly basis it makes it so much easier to chose a template so it does not look boring and "thrown together".
Nachteile
I wish there was a way to create a duplicate file (there might be a way and this could just be user error) so that when I create a slideshow I don't have to start from scratch each time.

Charts and graphs and pie charts are the most impact ful feature of this software. Besides this I like various word art features and background options it gives to make the presentation attractive.

I have used other presentation tools like Prezi, and I would say that PowerPoint is the only presentation tool that you really need. I like the new features it has with giving automatic design recommendations to develop a professional and effective presentation.

PowerPoint makes it very easy to make a very nice presentation. Many of the features are automatic and don't require too many extra steps. The results are always consistent.

There is very little control over type, especially if you need to tweak text to make it fit, etc. The automated nature of it makes typography difficult. Also, every presentation tends to look the same so it lacks variety.

I have loved using Powerpoint compared to all the other fancier versions of presentation tools in the market because Powerpoint helps me make neat presentations which directs the audience attention to the user. Presentation at its simplest.

Powerpoint is very handy when I prepare for my classes. Unlike many other presentation tools, Powerpoint helps you create neat slides so that the audience are not distracted by unnecessary graphics on the screen. The customer service at Powerpoint can be improved. Now a days, with chat bots provided by various companies, looking for answers on Google is a bit too time consuming and stressful.

I make nice presentations and sales pitches with this software.
Vorteile
Imbedding videos, links, and images is so easy with PowerPoint. It converts to PDF and web fairly easy as well. They have many free stock templates, more available online for free, and some premium content makers as well.

I can't think of any cons for what it does. Simply best in class and has been for some time on presentation software.

I have stopped using PowerPoint when found out about other easier and better looking tools out there for free. PowerPoint takes all your time to build a presentation and in the end it's still something isn't right.

Since we started using PowerPoint, it has been very effective in the trial setting. No longer having to tote trial exhibits back and forth to court. It all electronic now.

PowerPoint is a very effective tool in preparation for presentations and also very effective in presenting demonstrative evidence in a litigation trial .

PowerPoint is always very effective in presenting evidence and for illustration purposes at presentations.
