How hasn't use it at least once?
Vorteile
Powerpoint has it all, just lacking a little bit of the sexy part of Apple Keynote. You can do so amazing presentations with powerpoint - but try to be simple: few words big pictures.It has apps for mac, PC, mobile, web, etc. With PowerPoint you wont feel you made a bad choice.

To be absolutely honest there is nothing i feel missing

If you give presentations without PowerPoint you're doing it wrong!

I've been using PowerPoint for years. It's capabilities are constantly being improved and it's still super easy to use. From transitions to animations, the capabilities are endless. It really can be fun to use.

Classic, but lacks creativity

It’s fine. There are more attractive platforms for slides, but this one is pretty versatile.

Everyone uses PowerPoint. We all use it, we know what it is. There are some limitations that are available with newer software, but overall, it’s good.

I LOVE PowerPoint. I often have to build presentations and training manuals for new-hires and PowerPoint makes it a breeze.
Vorteile
I use PowerPoint the most for creating training presentations & manuals. I have never had to seek out another program because PowerPoint has every feature I would need to effectively communicate information to trainees.
Nachteile
I've noticed that PowerPoint can be restrictive with what manipulating it allows for PDFs. Not sure if it's a bug or just feature flaw - it's not a huge issue, just annoying.

I've been using power point since I was in middle school and it has always worked great.
It makes it incredibly easy to provide a variety of information for any kind of presentation. I use power point for all my presentations and it definitely befits me every time.

I love that you can use different templates and animations to make boring material fun. The screen transitions and the way to have information enter the screen in different ways is incredible.

I would like there to be a bigger variety of slide customization types when it comes to charts and bullet points to really have a template for any situation or creating an informative slide show.

It's what you remember from school
I've used PowerPoint for as long as I can remember, but it is no longer my go-to presentation software.

What's not to like? Very productive!

I've used several PowerPoint softwares for years. But I really love Microsoft's. It's extremely user friendly. I love everything I can do with it. I've created some really great presentations with PowerPoint. In addition, you can work as a team in real time. Makes life easy.

I use PowerPoint mostly to make presentations to potential partners for our non-profit or at expos/conferences.
Vorteile
since it's a part of the Microsoft Office package, the controls and features are familiar to anyone that uses Word or Excel
Nachteile
features and functionality haven't kept up with newer options, especially Google Slides, and many features feel outdated now

Microsoft PowerPoint is definitely superior to other slideshow softwares. It has many great slideshow styles and formats, but it does much more than just all of the great slideshow things. It can be used as an image creation tool for posters, flyers, etc. Easily worth purchasing!
