I was delighted with how easy it is to create slides and then show them on an overhead projector.

The ability to summarize key talking points to put on display while speaking to my audience.

PowerPoint is mainly used to create business presentations to feedback team work to management supervisors.

The 2019 version is optimized, has all the necessary tools to create and design presentations. Has support for multiple languages. Support videos, hyperlinks and has intuitive interface.

I like PowerPoint because it’s familiar and consistent.

This program helps us with the presentation of complex ideas through simple presentations, using graphs, words, pictures and other means. It was very easy to set up and start using.
Nachteile
I would like to be able to add more animations between pages. There is no function with which you can continuously record sound when playing slides.

I love being able to visually communicate with my audience, and that multiple versions of this program are comparable together
Nachteile
Because there are so many versions of this software, sometimes trying to save a file from one version and use it in another causes problems. My slides don't always maintain their layout across versions.

Easy to Access How-To
Use it all the time and rarely run into a problem.

PowerPoint has soo many online articles, videos etc. that are easy to access so if you don't know how to do something, it's extremely easy to just look it up. It also feature the option to compress images easily to reduce the size of your files.

To create a slideshow, I most often use Power Point
Power Point helps me solve both working and personal issues. For example, I could easily make a presentation video, which was shown to guests at our wedding. And, not counting the time that was spent on the selection of photos, the presentation itself was made in a few hours.

I use this all the time for classes, and presentations. It's so easy to use. You can get so creative with powerpoints while getting your point across. I've been using this since I was about 10 years old, and I will continue until I no longer need powerpoints.

There is so much that can be done in creating presentations using Powerpoint. You can create many different visualizations for presentations, but you can even use Powerpoint just to manage the agenda of a meeting.
Nachteile
There is almost too much capability in Powerpoint to quickly create presentations. If you need simple presentations, it is very easy to use, but when the complexity increases, the time required increases even more, at least for me. I get caught up with all of the options and then end up slowing down more.

PowerPoint is the best (and really only) presentation software out there. There are others, but they do not perform nearly to the standards I have for my presentation needs.

The features are great, but the templates are lacking in originality and variety
Vorteile
The flexability and features of Powerpoint make it a great tool for almost any use. It is particularly excellent for business presentations, and yet it can be used in churches. There is a only a mild learning curve as it is so similar to the other Microsoft products.
Nachteile
The templates are bland and seem to be the same exact templates I used 10-15 years ago with Powerpoint. Competitors like canva offer a much wider variety of styles to pick from, although from a "presentation" standpoint, powerpoint far exceeds canva.
