It is sometimes difficult to get line connectors to connect different elements correctly. When I want to connect 2 boxes the line connectors will often snap to a point on the box that I don't want to connect to and cannot tend to move it without zooming way in.

i really don't need to go through series of training to present with power point, the well designed templates,theme options and animation presentation capability makes it lovely, easy and good for my presentation, the slides can be timed along with my oral presentation, audio tracks can be synchronized with the slide to produce a superb presentation.i can convert my presentation into pdf format for redristribution to my colleague at work.

i really love power point, the limitations i experience in power point has to do with the file sizes getting heavy by adding up pictures, it tends to slow down the computer, files that Microsoft word would take conveniently without slowing down the PC,and it cannot publish directly online, nevertheless i still prefer power point for my presentations.

This is a great piece of software if you need to do a presentation or if you are a public speaker. It's great for adding images and data which makes it ideal for meetings or even keynotes. As a public speaker myself I often use it to create my keynotes and the various file options you can save it in make it ideal for professional speakers. It's also great for companies if they need to make presentations or pitch decks for client meetings.

The only drawback for this software is the fact that its price is very high compared to its competitors, for example google slide which is 100% free.
Also on the handover side I find it a shame that the best tutorials are made by youtubers and not the software manufacturer.
The most important features are discovered by searching on the internet while Microsoft could do it as a tutorial for any user.

For example, I can increase and decrease the transparency of shapes, add beautiful templates and edit text efficiently. If I don't know where a certain function is, I can use the search bar. I find it easy to use and I like the transition Powerpoint has made over the years. I like how I can easily access creative commons for pictures, directly from Powerpoint.

There is nothing I dislike about this software. I'm not sure about the price, as Powerpoint was a free software that came with my University course. I know that you have to purchase the whole Office suite to access Powerpoint. There may be more affordable/free options

I really like how easy it is to integrate text from Microsoft Word and as well as charts and data from Microsoft Excel into PowerPoint. The three applications work very well together. I have not had good experience as we presenter or participant with PowerPoint and video. Embedded videos always show up awkward in the presentation and links to videos sometimes work, sometimes do not work or work for the presenter but not if the presentation is shared.

I can design branded templates that empower my less, shall we say, "graphically inclined" colleagues to put together presentations quickly and effectively that also look good, and don't misrepresent our corporate branding.
I also love that I can export directly from PowerPoint into a PDF document, which preserves my high resolution imagery and vectorized fonts for print and dispersion across the business. With a bit of know-how, it's possible to create well laid out documents that could fool anyone into thinking they were made in Adobe InDesign.

I find the sizing and repositioning engine in PowerPoint to be a bit of a nuisance. The way to get pixel-perfect accuracy when positioning elements on a slide isn't intuitive, and often if I need to go back and make changes to elements across multiple slides, it's a time-intensive process.

I am a teacher. Some teachers use power point as a slide show. It does so much more. I can use power point to hyperlink to videos, or I just insert the video and avoid inappropriate stuff popping up on the side of youtube. I can hyperlink to slides within the presentation, which lets me make interactive games for my students. I can add animations. I've attended several in-services where the presenter talks trash about power point and describes 3 different websites that each does a function listed above. Power Point does all those functions, and more. Why would I use 3 websites when I can use 1 program.

Microsoft Powerpoint does not lack as such in any type of functionality or feature. The only con that I feel is the price of the Microsoft Office Package. If you're a student then Microsoft definitely offers a Student package which is much cheaper than the standard purchase but if you're not a student you will have to buy the product at the standard rate which is quite expensive and I will call it as a con for this product.

Also great for organizing notes on a course you took that you need to share with classmates or coworkers. You can create and record yourself on the slides and then share the presentation with your classmates and coworkers who have not taken this course to fill them in. Another great feature is the ability to create unique slideshows with slide templates given by PowerPoint. You can also add music, pictures or videos to your slides, so don’t be afraid to use a picture or video to describe your slide! A picture is worth a thousand words! Just don’t forget to describe the purpose and importance of the picture and/or video and it’s relation to the overall presentation. Also, do not use too many words on your presentation slide, rather make your words bigger than you think. Size 12 font is very small on a presentation slide, yet normal for a Word document. Bold important words or phrases too!

There is not much that I dislike about this software but the major con that I find is that it needs to be a little "edgier" as some of it's competitors have proven to be. For example, it would be nice if you could do actual illustrations within the software and even make those illustrations instantly animated. As it stands now, you have to do illustrations in other applications and upload them to PowerPoint. Adding this feature would make it a truly one stop Presentation hub.

This is such a a simple program to use. There's so many free templates pre-installed (and countless more that you can find online). They can make any presentation look like you spent hours designing it. Loved using it to create a jeopardy time game for students (there's lots of features to take your presentation to the next level). It's really gotten better over the years in terms of presentation tools. I now have all my notes in from of me on the screen, so no more fumbling with note cards. I really suggest you play around with the features on there, they're not just there to make your slideshow more presentable but to help you present better as well.

I love that I can use PowerPoint to provide campaign mock-up designs to my designers. My mock-ups are not pretty but with the options in PowerPoint, I am able to convey my ideas to my designers.
