Some functions are not very intuitive and MO has not really added/updated features and functions of this product. Im much more comfortable with Excel, and am a data person, so I may be a bit biased.

The apps that you purchase for presentations now as opposed to the good old fashioned PowerPoint. PowerPoint stays consistent and reliable. There service is outstanding.

Its fairly intuitive to use, and because its industry standard, never any problems when taking a presentation to a conference.

If you are on a time crunch to create a slideshow, this is the one to use. With premade themes, and text boxes, you can easily fill in the blanks and have a slideshow done, all within a few minutes.

Some of the themes are a little outdated in my opinion. I think they should create more modern, clean themes.

I was fine with this software until I did Google slides, and presented with that- I found that the Google programs were easier to save and pull out without any error mixups, and I was more familiar with the Google format than the Microsoft.

It is always available, and packaged with most Office Suites. It is reliable, easy to create content, and easy to present. It has remained relatively the same through all the updates, and therefore has very little learning curve from the time you used 10 years ago or just yesterday.

I have had no issues with powerpoint and I've been using it for 10 + years. Sometimes when you email the document some of the images change placement.
