The ability to create a structured and meaningful presentation.

The ease and ability to create and edit presentations. I have also found it to be great for creating and editing diagrams.
Nachteile
Price point needs to be better. To get the latest version of the software tends to cost too much to justify the small amount of new functionality.

I learned to make animated presentations that have greatly helped me through school.
Vorteile
The versatility of the software. I've used PowerPoint to make elevator screens before and they look amazing! It can virtually be used for anything!

I've been using Power Point since the mid to late 90s and it has always been easy to use. I'm happy that there is not a steep learning curve when a new version comes out.
Nachteile
I still think there should be a slightly easier way to set up multiple slides quickly. Copying is easy, but it seems a bit cumbersome sometimes.

An essential program for office presentations
Vorteile
Every option that I could think of needing for a presentation is available in PP. It is a backbone program as far as I am concerned.
Nachteile
No complaints. The only other program I would consider using for presentations is Prezzi, but I tend to come back to powerpoint because it really provides all theoptions I need.

I use PowerPoint a lot for work. It is really useful for making business proposals and presenting data or numbers to employees at work.
Vorteile
I like how easy it is to use and all the features of use. All the options for editing your slides are great and really useful. There is no confusion for using the toolbar and has no editing fails.
Nachteile
Something that I could change to this software is how it can't be shared online. It should be easier to share with others online than just sending it through e-mail.

This program is extremely easy to use. A beginner to advanced should have no issues using this. I love that it comes preloaded with templates which makes it easy if you are in need of a quick powerpoint.

PowerPoint has come a long way
I used PowerPoint for almost anything at different times. It's mostly a tool for creating slides and presentations but it can be so much more. It's not supposed to be a high-end graphic creator, but if you're only needing a quick business graphic that doesn't need to be top quality, then PowerPoint had lots of templates and tools for making that happen.
