I really loved the video library. You can easily pick premade videos from their library or create videos and upload them in the library. My clients loved how easy it was to foIlow. I was able to send and receive messages from my clients, and create my own web page for my business.

There was nothing I didn't like about this software. It was easy to use and whenever I had a question I got support on the phone or in chat.

I love Trainerize because it's not only easy for me to program my clients' workouts and track their progress...but, it's also easy for the CLIENT to use as well.

Trainerize was very easy to use. The pre-loaded exercise templates made programming fast and simple. Just review certain templates for suitability for a client, edit if necessary, and issue. Client compliance with an assigned exercise protocol is also tracked very well through the software. I also like how the software links to partnered meal planning software. This makes it very attractive to a trainer looking to streamline meal planning and fitness programming.

Nachteile

It can get a bit expensive depending on how many clients you are carrying. It also requires a bit of tech savvy. Neither of these are huge issues though.

Looks good to me thus far, I have not had any issues with the app or the interphase. They advise when an upgrade is gonna happen, so no issues.

Things just work. There's almost never a crash or problem. We tried a lot of software before Trainerize and this was the first that actually did everything it claimed.

There's limited function for CrossFit style workouts, which can be alleviated by inputting them as a single exercise - however, it would be great to have the ability o change the word reps in the input page to something else in this case. So for example when tracking a CrossFit workout you may be able to put in 2 tracking options (a la cardio), daily rounds and Time.

I love that I can get notified every time a client checks in on the app for their workout. I Also love how they can message me during the workouts and I can answer questions while they are working out. It's like I am there with them. I also really like all of the charts and graphs to check progress.

I would like to write group programs but still be able to customize for someone in the group inside of that workout plan.

It's a great way to deliver programs to my clients. The dashboard feature is packed with plenty of info keeping me informed so I keep my clients engaged.

I would like a few more features. Heart rate tracking, Apple Watch syncing to give more options for my clients.

The fact that my clients can see their entire program in the app and have easy access on there is incredible. The programs feature and meal plan integration is super convenient and adds so much to the experience for my clients.

I don't like that there is no way to call and talk to someone from customer service when I need to. It has caused problems to always have to wait on a return call. I also think that tracking workouts could be easier. My clients have issues with it all the time.

The software provides a great way to interact with clients outside of the gym, keep track of their progress and training plans, as well as their schedules.

I haven’t personally ran into any issues or dislikes with this product. My clients enjoy it and so do I!

I love that Trainerize gives me the option to create truly personalized programs for clients all over. Trainerize also gives me the option to program workouts for clients outside of our one session per week, which is essential to client success.

Nachteile

At first Trainerize can be a bit difficult to use, but once you take some time to get to learn the software, each workout is easy to program. Trainerize is also constantly updating and making it even more user friendly.

Super easy to set up and modify. Can be customized for each client. And the clients LOVE how easy it is to set up and use on their end.

Seems to have some connectivity issues due to other apps updating on their end. Since Trainerize talks to these, it can be frustrating for end user. Not Trainerize fault but is frustrating on the user end.

I like how easy it is to building training plans. It's very user friendly. I like the video aspect and all the features it has such as: progress pics, tracking workouts, myfitness pal etc.

1) I don't like the fact you can't add multiple sets in the program. (i.e. 3-4 sets).
2) I put my warm ups in the "workout instructions" box and include videos of the warm up. However, sometimes my clients (usually non iPhone clients) can't open the link so see the video. So I have to send them via message.
3) Clients recommendation: to be able to add in their workout for the day. Sometimes they can't get to the gym and want to add in what they did for the day. (MMA class, sprints, ab circuit, etc)
4) No video access for clients. It would be nice to be able to send videos (not just pictures) via the messenger to clients.

The software makes it easy to stay in touch and monitor clients. The software also is easy to use for clients. Establishing exercises for training programs is easier to do at a larger scale.

Nachteile

There are a few features and functions I would like to see in the custom training program and workouts. Adding in percentages and progressions for them throughout the training cycle. The nutrition aspect is fairly basic, would like to see a like bit more in-depth feature of nutrition. Free range customization of cardio workouts.

I enjoyed the ease of use for adding videos and content to my clients programs. I also was able to deliver quick messages to clients to engage in the programmed workouts that I set up for them.

Nachteile

What I didn’t like and why I’m no longer using this software is the high cost. My business dropped from 1-5 clients and the rate per month was still significantly higher than if I worked with some different training softwares on the market.

I like the drag and drop feature for exercises the most. It makes planning workouts more convenient than having to search and click a button to add all of them.

The price for the number of clients is what I like the least. Also, when trying to make workout templates, it gets a little confusing.

My favorite aspect is the client experience with ability to track in a normal fashion to using a built-in interval timer without having to program it themselves. This allows the trainer to tailor the workout even more so to the likes of the client.

I dislike the cost. It's reasonable when you have many clients but I'm intentionally looking for a little work on the side, not a major business, and it adds up.

This software program allows me to assign workouts to my clientele in an easy-to-use layout. I've used it to provide a strength training program with video demonstrations of myself to an entire lacrosse team and was able to monitor their progress and adherence during their college breaks. The athletes absolutely loved it.

I would love for people to be able to purchase subscriptions to my different training programs directly on the app without them having to go to my website.

One of my favorite aspects about this app is the built in videos that accompany every exercise. I also love that they are constantly being updated and added to.

I dislike that my workouts are separated onto different pages and I have to scroll through the pages to find what I'm looking for. It is the same with my clients - only a certain number of clients per page. I also wish I could have multiple clients open at the same time and toggle back and forth between them.

That I had to have my phone with me throughout the workout, I am big on having my phone with me at the gym, It's my me time and can be very distracting. It is handy though, would be cool to be compatible with a smart watch- notify of an exercise and can select on watch progressions?
