OMG, it is so expensive. In order to make your money back you have to be in the industry for several years. This is not a software that you get to just play around with. It is absolutely for professionals

What I like the most about this program is how easy it is to use. There is a lot to learn but easy to use in the long term. It is simply the best you can use for any aspect.

The price for AutoCAD LT was a big influence in using the software. The capabilities of the software were useful in integrating consultants files with Revit LT.

The difference between paper space and model space is a little confusing for someone who is used to using Revit.

Ideal for CAD Users, especially on field and basic drawing process. It does not support lisp programs but if you want to view projects or do basic drawing process, it is most suitable CAD software for you certainly. Also It wants less poerfull hardware requieriments than AutoCAD variants.

I bought the software many years ago with a perpetual license..... AutoCad now informs me that I need to "upgrade" and purchase new software.....they have literally made my software non functional by not allowing it to open....

If you've moved into the world of Revit, it is still really handy to have some version of Autocad around. The price is right on LT, though it lacks the ability to assembly a drawing set with the sheet set manager etc.

As I mentioned, it lacks the features to assembly drawing sets with coordinated tags. It is really just helpful for light drafting and simple sheets.

I have been taking online classes to learn AutoCAD and am very impressed with the functions of AutoCAD LT. I had no idea all the amazing options you could do and look forward to learning more as I explore more and more of AutoCAD. For example being able to go in and edit any drawing is epic!

AutoCAD LT is a great light weight option for reviewing and revising, CAD drawings. Take-offs, measurements, clouds, etc are all very straight forward and runs quicker than regular AutoCAD

AutoCAD LT is lacking certain features by design, occasionally the need arises to use these features while in LT - would be good if there was an easier way to jump back and forth from full-feature AutoCAD

AutoCAD LT provides a wide variety or uses, the most thing I like about the software is the shortcut keys that allows you quick access for the tools required to be used.

the least thing I like is that when you select multiple items or object you cant unselect 1 or some of them, and you will need to start again from the start.

The ability to draw effectively and fast, complicated designs. The shortcut control+shift+right click+from is addictive , as you can specify your starting point, giving the distance from one reference that already exist in your drawing, without further measuring or construction lines.

Had 2007 LT on my computer. Computer crashed. Lost the software. Lost all info. My complaint is Auto Desk will not help after I paid for software.

Well AutoCad Lt Functions same as the regular AutoCad software. I've used this software for a while in my intership. Still this is a good help for me doing my drawings.

There's no option for 3d or isometric drawings. That function helps a lot in Plumbing Isometric Layout

How many times i find myself clicking the mouse to move, rotate, select, etc. I am accustomed to clicking and dragging and I find myself clicking frequently. I still do this wrong because it is second nature to click and drag.

Often our laboratory wanted to design 2D objects without the crowding of 3D options available in products such as Inventor. AutoCAD LT allowed our group to design workplace environments and 2D views of potential products in a much more simplified setting.

It's very frustrating to use 2D software if you've ever used 3D software, which is much more powerful. (Of course it's not AutoCAD's fault if you're still using 2D.) That said, the interface needs much improvement--it takes too long to do simple things.

The product offers features for editing 2D geometry and annotating architectural drawings. I also love how you can attach and import PDf files. Considering the price, the software is a great tool for many designers.

The software provides single-user licensing, so it may be difficult to use as a business organization. It is not cloud based.
