Stripe is easy to set up and use. They provide comprehensive monthly reports and have many features that can meet organizations' needs at different growth stages.

Nachteile

Like any new technology platform, learning to navigate the portal and get used to the format takes time. The reports are extremely detailed, so it takes time to figure out what information to look for and what to filter out.

You find Stripe almost anywhere and you can integrate with anything. Their platform and code and interface is clean to understand the integration.

Nachteile

I didn’t seem to like their support as they get busy and it can be a bit pricy.

Easy to integrate and the security system seems pretty good, but you dont really know until its too late.

I had a customer pay their AUD$7000 invoice twice. I refunded the second payment but Stripe kept the entire AUD$393 of fees !! For doing NOTHING!!!
But it gets better. Stripe took 5.7% in fees when my international fees are only 3.5%.
They claimed that it just covers their costs. Ironic how Paypal and the banks only charge a couple dollars for the same thing.
They are fraudulent and dishonest.

I had integrated my Travel business with stripe, client issued tickets from my website through stripe and stripe says we will refund the money back to the client although passengers traveled and not registered any complaint to us or to stripe, i have sent several emails to stripe to share the details with me if my client submitted any claim or any complaint, but tell date they are just replying few lines and saying it is not our policy to share the details with you but will refund but when i ask the reason the not shared despite several reminders.

Stripe is by far, the best payment processor on the market. We use it to set up eCommerce products and create product links and invoices. The user interface is friendly and the help section provides much helpful information.

Stripe easily integrates with most major platforms. I like that I can offer clients pay later options that they're familiar with like Affirm as well as other easy-pay options like Apply Pay, etc. The fees are comparable to other payment processors.

Stripe offers a slightly robust payment processing solution so the setup *can be a little involved, but doesn't have to take a long time if you have fairly basic needs. I do not care for the amount of time it takes to clear payments. I have to wait a couple of days after the payment is made for it to clear AND THEN 1-2 business days after it's cleared for the payout. They have an instant payout feature where they take a percentage of the amount transferred so you can get the payout immediately, but the fee adds up quickly.

En intégrant plusieurs outils à Stripe, j'ai trouvé le mécanisme de compte un peu obscur et nécessitant la duplication de données de l'entreprise sur chaque compte.
Par ailleurs une intégration d'un des outils s'est faite avec Stripe Express dont l'interface et l'intégration diffère complètement ce qui casse un peu l'homogénéïté entre tous les outils connectés à la solution

If you want to use invoicing and subscription software, you may use Stripe, or if you're a geek, you can easily design your own system that is PCI compliant. The majority of things have integration options, and if for some reason you run into a difficulty, you can log into the dashboard and typically solve it there. If not, they offer excellent support materials and even a chat option. You even make a small savings in comparison to comparable competitors. Their ACH costs are some of the lowest I've observed, which I particularly like. The fact that they include the annual PCI compliance charge, surveys, and monthly statement fees in the flat rate is an added benefit.

Due to Stripe's strict risk management policy, accounts may occasionally be abruptly suspended or cancelled if the company notices any suspicious or high-risk conduct. This may inconvenience customers and impede business operations. Additionally, Stripe's customer service is generally offered via email and chat, which might not be appropriate for urgent or complicated problems. For immediate help, some consumers may choose phone support. Furthermore, Stripe may not provide substantial support for offline transactions or in-person point-of-sale (POS) scenarios because it is primarily focused on supporting online payments.

Stripe tracks all of my income in both my personal business and as a Wag dog walker! I have been using Stripe for years and it has always made payments easy; both as a business owner collecting payments from customers AND as an employee being paid through Stripe.

3% processing fee is steep and so I don't really like that they charge so much for payment processing but to be fair, I appreciate the ability to take international payments easily.

Nothing at this point since day one been nothing but issues I had to use a back up until they fix this issues but doesn’t seem they care to fix it

I have been reaching out to customer service they say we will escalate this issues to get fixed. Been a week and around this time midnight someone will respond with a copy and paste message and not read the transcript of the issues to begin with and all the required paperwork they need.

They locked me out after some system breach. I requested access recovery multiple times after that and all I received were automatic notifications that my request was received with a promise that somebody would contact me shortly, and NOBODY HAS CALLED BACK ONCE! Their customer service is simply a mockery. Do NOT trust the business.
