Overall, easy to use and good functionality
Vorteile
I’ve enjoyed its layout and ease of use. It also gives you little things the other education software doesn’t, like the ability to see your possible grade with possible grades from different assignments.
Nachteile
I was unable to access a test after it was graded. The issue was quickly resolved however.

Spectacular functionality
I use it a lot for my social networks, it's great.

Huge Learning Curve
It was a sufficient software for using while I was in college.
Vorteile
This was a good product to use for the college classes I took. It was good for communicating with professors and my cohort.
Nachteile
It wasn't very user friendly at first and it took me awhile to learn all its functions. Sometimes the calendar would be buggy and take forever to load.

Great experience.

I like how i can submit work from different google apps onto CANVAS. This makes it easy for me to complete work. I also like that CANVAS has many other, i guess collaborations with many other educational and communication apps.

CANVAS - finally a user friendly LMS
I have used several popular LMSs in my work at various universities. CANVAS has all the tools the others have, but it much more logical in its placement of tools.
The speed grader is the best grading interface I have seen with a LMS. I can grade seamlessly from desktop to laptop to Ipad.
They are also constantly innovating and improving. They take suggestions seriously and make changes in future versions.

A student's opionion on Canvas: It's pretty good.
Canvas has much less extraneous information than Blackboard did, and is really easy to get the hang of.
Vorteile
Canvas has this useful tool where it allows you as a student to submit hypothetical scores on assignments and see how this would affect your grade, which is useful for determining relative importance of assignments as well as for peace of mind.
Nachteile
The only downside I've found with Canvas is that my University has not fully implemented it yet, so most of my classes do not use it.

The only flaw I have so far been able to find with Canvas is that it is a new player on the market. As such, I would be very worried if I was in competition with it. It is by far the easiest of all the LMS's to use. While it doesn't have the comprehensive level of development you might find in others, it does have more than enough features, good enough for any school.

Good software for afterclass
We use canvas as the official platform to do after school works and projects and it manages my work and progress well.
Vorteile
Lecturers could easily post the homework online as well as the grades, so we could keep on track of our progress.

The layout could be improved a little bit, to see the progress and updates of each course individually and simultaneously.

Gets kids excited to learn
Overall, I would say Canvas is very good at what it does. The kids that use it appear to really like it!

I was asked to help design some items for a 1st and 3rd grade classroom. The kids were very excited to use the software, to the pint where they began calling the laptop they were working on "Canvas".

I noticed that some of the kids had issues trying to login to the software, but that may not have been the software's fault.

As a busy college student, I rely on the app to keep things up to date. Often times the app would not open any information and I was forced to go to the website to get my data.

I didn't know about Canvas until a colleague pointed it out to me. I don't think I've stopped using it to create invitations ever since I learned about it. It has helped me improve the presentation of my work and it allows me to do more of what I'd like to it due to all the features it has.

It still feels a little intimidating to use but I've learned where to go for the things that I need. I am still learning here and there.

I use Canvas for school, and I find it really useful, with all the information I need being in one spot, and easy to access. I previously thought that I couldn't integrate Canvas with Google Calendar, but a quick response from Customer Support dispelled that notion! Great platform!

So easy, even non-millenials can excel for online courses
I decided to take a few college courses after being out of school for 20+ years. Canvas was utilized in both classes and was very easy to use for all test taking and class communication for most assignment. So much easier to work at strange hours using this product.
