It's easy to set up courses and pages within Canvas and to add additional functionality through plugins.

Canvas also makes use of groups and discussion boards to help with class breakout groups.

Very useful social features through plugins like 'YellowDig'

Nachteile

Canvas looks kind of old. While no one expects an LMS software to look state of the art, the design of Canvas looks far behind current website UX/UI.
