I wish that they had more case studies available to show people out the gate. If there were more examples, I think more people would choose to use them.

It is really easy to make courses and add lessons. Also they offer multiple add-ons which improves and adds functionalities. Easy to easy with multiple visual builders.

Pretty easy to use with a good knowledge database to get you started. They also have some decent tutorials on YouTube.

Some of the add-ons have not been updated in a long time. There are some key features that are missing from the product and their add-ons - like being able to easily change the 'see more...' button on the course grid. You can, but you need to know code which a lot of people are not comfortable with - hence why they use LearnDash.

Could do with a little bit more flexibility when it comes to moving things around and designing the different elements of the plugin.

Not too much at all - it has been nice and simple and if I get stuck I know I can rely on support for prompt and fantastic customer support.

It has lots of features/add-ons available, there was a live demo that you could test and view before purchase, no issues with conflicting plug-ins on the demo, lots of video documentation to show you how to use the software.

I'm still just learning how to use it but it could have nicer templates maybe out of the gate for a quicker course start.

LearnDash is a great course management software. We have it set-up for one of our web clients who use it for video based course software and it runs great! We had small issue arise with video progression and the quiz software and LearnDash's support was incredibly helpful in getting it resolved.

Simplicity. It's a straight forward product for both the student and the teacher, or the person developing the course. Does everything you need, but also stays easy enough to use without a bunch of clutter or options you don't need.

Can't think of anything, at one point we had a few students miss the mark complete button on a lesson but that's probably more to do with our design.

The plugin does the job that’s needed. You can build your e-learning courses with content and quizzes fairly simply. It works quick easily, and is pretty straightforward.

I would like to see more customization options without having to purchase and utilize 3rd party plugins for additional design/features. Some of these options should be built into the plugin.
-additionally I’d love to see default settings for new quizzes and questions to be more easily to streamline the creation workflow.

LearnDash is a really flexible system for delivering online courses - especially since v3 and the new "course builder" which allows you to quickly and easily build an online course using an intuitive drag and drop interface. The addons availabl are also really flexible, so it's easy to add Stripe payments and other customisations when you need to.

The previous version was a little bit hard to understand - but the new course builder has really nailed the user experience now in my opinion.

I've been using this WP plugin for more than a year now. Used it as an alternative for Moodle. Overall as a LMS, its course and quiz builder are very easy to use. It has the basic functionalities you'll need to set-up your online courses.

Nachteile

The plugin and 3rd party modules are limited. Would be nice if they will have a larger library of extensions. Reports are also a bit limited to the basic ones

Extremely simple and natural to utilize, and great technical support. There are also so numerous highlights that you can do with Learndash.

LearnDash is profoundly simple. The course builder allows you to build on the fly and brainstorm with a Team or simply dump ideas and then drag 'n' drop or add content to populate. So simple!!!

LearnDash is full of great features, most of which are a must when setting up an online course website. Their support is amazing - the solutions given are precise and thorough.

Nachteile

There's a bit of a learning curve to set up the LMS and configure all the features, but this is insignificant because they have a thorough tutorial on just about any aspect of the plugin.

It would be great if they can release a tutorial on working with AWS for hosting the videos, including setting up security policies for access.

I've just installed Learndash for the first time and it didn't work. I reached out with a support ticket and within 5 minutes someone got back to me with some things to try and they worked. Brilliant!

Once you get your setup complete, the front end of the site looks and works great. You can integrate with Memberpress and woocommerce which is a plus.

Organization of courses and lessons is completely horrible and non existent. Trying to edit permissions for accessibility can be tricky as well.

It is so complicated to use if you don't have a high grasp of wordpress. We are now switching to Edvance360 which is much more user-friendly and has so many more features.

The Customer Service is outstanding. They handled my questions thoroughly and gave great explanations.

There are elements built into the core that can not be altered like the "Click Here to Continue " button text at the completion of the quiz and the ability to link to different pages, depending on the quiz from the "Click Here to Continue" button. Right now it can only go to one page. I would like to be able to change the name of all buttons and label text. Unfortunately, there were some things that Customer Service couldn't help me with due to software limitations

It does even more than we expected it would, it's epic! Customer support has been on the whole absolutely fantastic too. Customer support take on board feedback and where possible action said feedback. Speed of support responses.

LMS training videos, especially the the comprehensive ones, are convoluted and confusing - ended up using common sense and/or customer support. Having to use third-party plugins for Group Registration was/is a bit of a set back.

I am not a web developer, programmer, or WordPress proficient. Despite this, I was able to easily create training materials using LearnDash. Creating Lessons and Topics with video content was simple, and LearnDash made it easy to create quizzes that handled the scoring, numbering, etc.

There haven't been any limitations that I wasn't able to overcome with a few quick hints from LearnDash support.

The time-consuming inefficiency for the need to switch from/between courses, lessons, topics, and quizzes. questions every single time. Yet the worst is customer support. I have been played for a fool for 2 weeks.

Issues with mark complete and mark incomplete check marks not staying removed after incomplete mark on free flow .. created ticket for this issue with support for mark complete doing same thing and seems to be fixed. Please fix this mark incomplete bug

The LearnDash platform has all the features I need to be able to create bespoke courses for my clients. But what is just as impressive is the excellent customer support. When I hit a technical glitch (which turned out to be nothing to do with LearnDash), [SENSITIVE CONTENT] in Customer Support responded quickly and professionally to my query and subsequent emails. He diagnosed the issue and took the time to screenshot and explain what he'd done to fix the issue. Give that guy a pay rise!

This software is very easy to use and implement, in regards to actually getting it into Wordpress. Creating courses and content on LearnDash is very easy. The product is much more stable than its free competitors (in this case, LearnPress). Customer service team is VERY responsive, unlike some of its competitors.

Nachteile

However, we had to switch back to its competitor. Our web team reported that the product is not as theme-compatible/customizable as some of its competitors, especially when it comes to the eCommerce portion of selling courses via WooCommerce. Unfortunately this realization came after the 30 day mark, so we did not receive our refund for the year. However, otherwise their customer service was great.

Integration was a bit difficult and trick in some cases. API had a lot of documentation, but was difficult to search and use.
