Great customer service and easy to use software
Easy access to software and works great for the company. Customer service is always available to help in all situations of the program.
Vorteile
It's easy to use and the programs always are up to date. If they have a technical issue they resolve it a good timely manner.
Nachteile
I don't have a least comment. Storedge is a great service for any business to use.

Fantastic ease of use!
Its a bit different switching to the training module when some of the things are slightly different or options are or are not avail. I never know if that is something that we as Managers dont have access to or if its something that was purposely chosen by corporate to deny etc. I wish there was an option to either notify corporate that the store was needing X done or Y looked at or...sometimes as a facility Manager we dont know what options have been denied by corporate -or that they X option is even available or Y option could satisfy an issue we may have here at the office. Perhaps corporate doesnt realize either how /if that one thing could work? It would be helpful to have a dropdown list of explanations briefly of each button if needed.

Integration was easy. Product help was always available. It was easier to learn than Yardi when I started here. I learn something new every time I read through the help section.

The red exclamation point used to notify us that an overlock needs to be removed, they have taken it away and I am not certain why. Also, not being able to see an individuals access to the property. I wish it could be separated and sorted by individual users.

Transitions can be exciting and stressful, but the StorEdge experience has left me without...
There are a lot of great little features that really make an impact. Many of the rent courtesy notices, late reminders, auto pay withdrawals and even most late fees are automated which frees up a lot of time enabling management staff to focus on other business necessities. I think the best aspect is that StorEdge offers so many great amenities that can be tailored to each individual business based on their needs so you're not forced to use a default setting.
Vorteile
It's honestly a composition of little features that make the job easier. I LOVE that StorEdge allows you to see if a tenant has opened/read an email notification that has been sent; much like a read receipt. Additionally, the online payment and account management feature has been a fantastic new option that both myself and my customers enjoy. The online payment feature has allowed tenants to update and manage their auto pay settings as well. This is a wonderful amenity for customers because they're not forced to take the time out of their busy schedules to make it by during office hours, they can manage and update their payment preferences at their convenience. It's also fantastic how automated many tasks are such as emails, SMS notifications, auto pay withdrawals and most late fees. None of those even require the click of a button to execute the task, which enables the management staff to focus on other business necessities. The StorEdge program allows you to customize and tailor the features to your business! Not having to remember to post date payments after a bank deposit is amazing! StorEdge will automatically take any payments made after your "close of day" bank deposit report and add them to the next deposit cycle. Last but not least, if you're ever feeling lost, StorEdge support staff is always quick to respond and happy to help find a solution to your inquiry.
Nachteile
Please note that the following statements are more like suggestions than complaints: It would be great to add a very obvious way to "flag" an account. For example "don't accept checks", do not rent to", etc. There already is a place to note it, but a more conspicuous notification would be quite helpful since there are multiple staff members operating the software in one office. The only other suggestion I have is in regards to the sale/auction process. It would be great if there was a way to type in the description of items being sold rather than hand writing it on the notice of sale. The second observation is by no means an issue, I just feel it would look cleaner if the items listed for sale came out printed on the document.

Great Software - Great Support!
After extensive searching for a software to help automate and organize our storage facility, I finally choose StoreEdge. Our facility is a bit non conventional in that we have a warehouse and storage vaults, and some customers may have multiple Vaults (units), so adapting the software to our specific needs was a little challenging, but the tech support was great! They helped me through the whole process, showing me ways to adapt the software to meet our needs. I still have issues with the software that are very annoying, but this is directly related to the way we do business and not the software itself. They are constantly doing updates and bug fixes and I have already seen changes and additions to the software that were suggested when we first signed on. The reporting features are good but would like to see more customization in reporting. Overall, I feel we get a great value for the money.

Nachteile
Reporting - There is not enough customization in reporting. Customer invoicing and statements are a bit confusing when prorating is being done (the daily, prorated rate does not show up, only the regular monthly amount, followed by the prorated TOTAL. It does not show the customer how we came up with that total).

Clunky and getting better.
The features are great however it seems none are fully implemented to a point where they are dependable and useful. I bought this software a couple of years ago for the Rental Center and it still has not proven dependable enough to use.

Great to keep track of the different Profit Centers and post them into Quick Books.
Overall I have been very satisfied with the customer service and the product. I recommend it.

I have an RV Park with Self Storage. Essentially two different business. I needed a program that could separate the revenue by profit center. This program has worked without any hassle at all.

Gets easier to use with time...
Overall, the software handles the basic daily functions of a self storage facility, it would be a great improvement if they would add a column that showed the last time notes were added to an individuals account on the list and a way of sorting a list by most recently contacted.
Vorteile
The feature I found to be the most useful is the search field because it searches the entire program for whatever you type in the search box.
Nachteile
The software could improve on usability in making it easier to find where you left off in a list you were working from if you have to switch tabs.

It is very user friendly and an understandable software.
you can pull up past customers that no longer store with us but are back to store again.

What i like the most is that you can see everything you do, down to the time you do it. you can right notes and reports are easy to pull up.

what i like least is sometime the system goes down and our CC on file don't get charged so me have to manually do them but when the system comes back i will double charge some of them again.

Software relieves stress!
My experience has been really good with StorEdge. Fairly easy to set up (they did most of the work), and fairly easy to learn. There are a few elements we are not using and that needs to change, it will aid in running your storage business with less effort!
Vorteile
Ease of seeing what's going on, who is late and by how much and what's been done about it. Their support team is prompt to respond.

The majority of my experiences with this software have been really good.
Vorteile
I like how easy it is to use, I also really like the fact that they record and store any phone calls that were made. It's nice to have a history of that to go back to when needed.
Nachteile
I don't like that you can't enter a date when entering a payment. Sometimes we receive payments on time, but they do not get entered until another day due to certain circumstances. I would like the option to enter the correct date that the payment was actually received and not necessarily when it was entered.

Features and functionality
Have problems with system freezing because of to may people on line. Other than that theer are not problem. I did have a problem when I reserved a new tent it placed it on another account even though I enter it as a new customer

Over all store edge has not been to bad, there are a few things that could be better and easier to do.
Vorteile
It is easier to keep up with customers that are on our wait list as well as moving people in.
Nachteile
Important Notes do not show as easily as the did with our old system. Even if you hit important note you still have to search in order to find it. I think it should be easier to add units when they first move in if they need more than one unit.

Very professional customer and manager interface
Very good system. Very fool proof. Good reports. Professional appearance. Very responsive customer service. Friendly knowledgeable customer service from headquarters. Not overseas.

The software is easy enough to use not has a few quirks and is sometimes unintuitive. Small things like how to enter more than one email for a single customer. And the. Offset issue is that it doesn't work with our gate software system linear controller.

VERY SLOW

it is user-friendly and not hard to learn, there some nice features. I only use it for 2 months so I dont have much to say about it.
Nachteile
VERY SLOW!!! keep crashing when there are too many people using it. If its the beginning of the month when people coming in to pay the site keeps crashing.
