Über SAM

SAM Aviation Maintenance Software von ASA Software ist eine intuitive, leistungsstarke und kostengünstige Lösung, die es CAMOs (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) und Organisationen im Bereich MRO (Maintanance, Repair and Overhaul) ermöglicht, Flugzeuge und Komponenten einfach und in Übereinstimmung mit den hohen Standards der Luftfahrtbehörden zu zertifizieren, zu warten und zu reparieren. To have a program which covers Store, Maintenance planning and overview, Service information compliance and tracking, work order quotation and completion, and invoicing, and more, in one sollution is truly beneficial in terms of time-saving and an overview perspection. The customer service from the team are also in another league compared to other solutions.

Vorteile

Gathering of all data in one system has shown to be a huge time-saver! Also to have an end-to-end solution are highly beneficial. SAM11 is a powerful tool with a lot of features to streamline production.

Nachteile

We are waiting with exitement for the release of new SAM. In the meantime SAM11 cover all our needs. Even if the interface and layout belongs to the past, when you get the hold of the shortcuts and the logic, it works like anything else.

Very hard to find a software team so proactive

Vorteile

We are still in the implementation phase of SAM but it seems that it is a great improvement on the previous software / system that we have.

Nachteile

Well it used to be because the server was in Denmark, but that's been resolved so there really isn't much to complain about.

Pleased user from CAMO

I have seen few other programs for maintaining aircrafts and airworthiness but SAM still offers the most widest features and best value for money. There is still couple features where we need other program to support our actions (like communication between workers and scheduling maintenances) but I have already seen progress with these features and hopefully some day in near future we can drop this other program away.

Vorteile

When you get it, it's pretty easy to use. Also I'm very satisfyid for customers support serivice. I always get answers quickly and they help me to find easiest and the most suitable solution for my issues.

Nachteile

Sometimes we still have some bugs in you system, but always when reporting them, I'll get directions how to proceed and some hours/days/weeks later (depending on quality of bugs) it's been taken care of.

TAMs experience of SAM11

It helps us on a daily basis to run the MRO operations in the hangar which also includes purchase and sales of components to external customers.

Vorteile

I like the overview and the possibility to switch between the different modules fast and easy.

Nachteile

Not been able to customize reports ourselves and in an easy way if not educated in programming Crystal Report.

15 years using SAM in three companies is the best recommendation I can give.

The system works for every company, small as big and can take account for all aspects in a CAMO. Doing my 15 years, working with the system, if a problem occur or a new feature needs (customer request) to be developed, we always had good support and understanding from the support.

Easy to use and quick to understand. Userfriendly .

Nachteile

There is no chapter 13 in the training manual.

Value for money product

Vorteile

I find this product easy to use and setup. The customer support is fantastic, and it is easy to impediment across multiple aircraft types

Nachteile

The remote desktop application can be a bit slow to connect
