Talent Management and Core HR complete suite
We started with the Performance Management and Goals modules 2 years ago. We were not using a product for those functions before that. We just had paper based processes.
Vorteile
For performance management, it's easy to use. We do some training, but we probably do more than we need to as it's very user friendly
Nachteile
Something that had been problematic that they recently changed is auto save. We had employees losing work.
The options in the goals planning module i.e. to share goals with other people working on same thing, to align with organization goals - could be simplified. It's a little convoluted.

User friendly layout/design. like the customization of the home page.
Nachteile
seems like to use features of the system requires you to be a programmer, it's not intuitive by no means. which has limited our use of some of the great features it offers.

SuccessFactors is awesome!
I'm obsessed with SF!! As a sourcer/recruiter it is great tool! It's easy to use and lots of neat features. I am very glad my employer uses it!!

I don't really care for the program, but you can complete it fairly quickly. I do like the suggested text, that makes the process even faster.
Nachteile
The formatting is cumbersome and the directions for completion aren't very clear. When you use the program for the first time, it's very confusing and you have to take a lot of time to figure it out.

This came with the entire suite of human capital management software, SF learning and Talent acquisition and management. cloud based solution that you pay as you go and pay as you grow. Completely scalable.
Nachteile
this solution is very expensive and took longer to integrate then expected.which took up more man hours then expected.

SuccessFactors has been wonderful in aiding us in employee reviews. Goals are easy to establish and reviews are straight forward.

My experience with Success Factors- Goal and Performance Management
Vorteile
I like the simplicity and ease of use. This is very easy to implement and users who have not used any HRIS are also able to use it without any problems and much of training.

There is nothing that I like the least. It is able to cater to all our needs.

It's a really decent feature rich product. You can get advice on all the best practices for both your process flow and SuccessFactors implementation. you can also learn from other user and network. Get Business support available and prompt responses makes it easier to use.

feature that guides you in responding to performance review questions.
Nachteile
UI is good, but can get better, navigation between workflows can be improved.

Great performance management product!
Overall SuccessFactors has great performance management software tools - creating goals, tracking performance, compensation, recruitment, etc. My only suggestion is building in how-to-use instructions directly into the tool to make it more user friendly.

I like how easy the UI is to navigate, the administrative capabilities are very easy to understand and reporting is abundant. I would like more help documentation on reporting, but that may be something I have not yet uncovered in their help section!

Success Factors Review
Pretty happy with the product. We were looking for an all in cloud solution for goal setting and performance reviews. Success Factors fits the bill.
Vorteile
Excellent collaboration functionality. No need to export spreadsheets or word docs. Everything can be done in the app itself.
Nachteile
As with many web based tools, the UI is a bit clicky. Would like to see improvements in the area of being able to use keyboard shortcuts more.
