Mapcon works for McIlvain!

When J. Gibson McIlvain Lumber decided to automate the Lumber Mill Machinery Preventative Maintenance Schedule, we contacted Mapcon for options. Based on our environment, the number of machines and PMs to track, Mapcon turned out to be the best solution by far. Mapcon's Customer Service Team has been exceptional in their response time and willingness to help us through setup and operational issues.

MAPCON has been a great addition. We are happy with the performance of MAPCON.

We are taking advantage of what we are using in the system. But we could be taking more advantage if the training and implementation process would have been more consistent

Great CMMS Program!

I have been using Mapcon for over 8 years now, and it has been a great tool for helping us organize and document all the work preformed on our plant, as well as tracking our inventory and doing purchasing. The system may take someone a bit to learn, but it really is an indispensable product that every facility should have. The support Mapcon offers puts them a step above others!

Good choice for our company

We needed to implement a CMMS on a budget, and MapCon delivered, but with features you would not expect from such a cost-effective solution. In fact, in working with them, they have released new versions that have included suggestions we made to them. It's a good product with great support, would recommend to others!

Mapcon here has really been a great experience. I can enter work orders in and it gets to the appropriate people and it gets done.

My main experience with the product has to do with the back end infrastructure but product gets good feedback from the few employees we have that do use the product. The one thing that I can provide direct feedback for is customer support. I've always experienced exceptional customer service.

For the money mapcon does what we need it to do and has been greatly improved with the latest web version that we have. The user friendliness has improved as well.

Although we are in the process of implementation with plans to go live Jan 2017, through thorough investigation we have found MAPCON to be the right product for our business, needs and objectives. To this point level of responsiveness, service and support has been excellent.

Customer support

Every day use of Mapcon is done with ease. When I am trying to make my own report or doing something that isn't a daily task, I will usually need customer support. There is always someone ready to assist and explain the steps that you can do it yourself the next time.

New to Mapcon

We are new to the software but from my perspective it seems to be working out well. I enter work orders so I can't speak for the maintenance dept but I have not heard any negative feedback. I only rated some areas lower due to lack of use so far. So far I like it.

MAPCON rocks!

Our site has been using MAPCON products since prior to 2000. The site support is outstanding. Our site doesn't require a lot of customization but where we do, MAPCON service techs. are outstanding. Very satisfied and hoping to upgrade within the coming year!

Easy system

on the accounts payable side this is a very easy system to use. I have never run into any difficulties while performing reconciliations. Beyond Reconciliations I don't use the system much but feel if I needed to I could easily teach myself.

Yay Mapcon!!!!

Since we have upgraded to Mapcon 6 I have been very happy!!! Customer Support with Mapcon is great!! Mapcon 6 offers so much more and is really easy to use! I would highly recommend Mapcon to some shopping for a maintenance software!

Mapcon Review

Overall I think Mapcon is good, there are a few things that would make life a lot easier, ease of report generation, being able to do a change order without approvals if it is just an address change, otherwise, I would recommend it.

Ease of Use on MAPCON

MAPCON is a very simple/easy to use program. Training did not take long (yay!). Very user-friendly. Only drawback I see is a slight one - you have to make sure you put your name somewhere in the request so they know who sent it.

Wisconsin Operations

This is a great program for maintaining, keeping track of and inventorying everything for your company. Has so many different tools to use and an overall great tool. Very pleased with its capabilities and superb customer service.

Mapcon customer service and tech support is what makes it better.

Our needs are basic, and all of the maintenance programs will fulfill our case list. What has impressed me about Mapcon is that I can call and talk to a knowledgeable tech within minutes. This greatly enhances ease of use.

We have been slow to implement and any issue's we have had are our own. The Customer service from Mapcon has been wonderful. From the Sales Department through the Tech support everyone has been very willing to help us.

It is very user friendly, Mapcon makes our maintenance team easier to manage and organize the department. Vendor and inventory database is very helpful. We use online version it gets all upgrades, and Remote access.

I've been a MAPCON user for about 7 years now, using it daily to track and maintain records. Never had any issues with the software, and the staff is always there and willing to help with answers when needed.

This software has helped our facility by reducing maintenance cost and increasing production up time. We also are able to use the software to meet compliance requirements mandated by regulatory body's.

Mapcon is a complex CMMS system, ideal for maintenance support.
Though, it communicates with other softwares not easy, custom programming needed in this case.

MapCon at VMI

The customer service is good. We use the cloud version. It's priced right. I'm the IT guy and don't directly use it. But we have very few calls to support it.

Mostly enjoy Mapcon

I enjoy the ease of use of Mapcon for the most part. I find it very functional and the things I use it for are easy to navigate to quickly complete my tasks.

Mapcon has helped me have a much better maintenance department

I came from a company with a large expensive program and it didn't do any more than Mapcon however the cost of Mapcon was about 1/5 I am very happy with it

Good system but definitely takes time to learn how the features work.

Required Training in order to become pretty proficient on setting up. Had issues understanding the scheduling portion. Seems pretty good so far.

Would buy it again

We needed this program and it is working well and I am also going to be informing another large co about your product for them to test / buy

We can analyzed more about the equipment breakdowns and planned a preventive maintenance based on their frequency and reason of equipment downtime.

MAPCON HAS BEEN EASY TO USE AND HAS MEET MY NEEDS. THE STAFF HAS BEEN GREAT WITH ANY ISSUE THAT I HAVE HAD.

Great upgrade

The upgrade to Mapcon from Mapcon Lite has been great. The customer support was awesome since my Mapcon Lite had crashed and was corrupted. Robin did a great job of digging through the data bases and ensuring things would work. The support since install has been just as good.

It seems awkward to use. It is capable of doing much, but it is awkward to use. Not very intuitive.
