I love how easy it is to add multiple deliveries onto circuit, either by adding a spreadsheet or manually searching. I also love how Circuit has grown and changed with our business, we have been in meetings with the developors at Circuit to say what was and wasnt working for us and changes have been made on the app as a whole to make the product perfect. Any issues raised have always been sorted very quickly.

Nachteile

our deliveries are sometimes constantly the same as we visit charity shops. It would be great to create templates which can be loaded in whenever needed.

The ability to put in delivery time frames for each stop is what got us to sign up. The built in GPS combined with the route optimization based on the delivery windows is what we love about this product.

The price is too high. Don't know why everytime a driver is added, you add another $20 USD. Should be a flat fee for single user or business account. We enter the same stops day after day, but Circuit doesn't have the ability to autofill to help find the previous drop off location quicker. As far as I know.

I think driver tracking from customer point of view can be done better. Something like live tracking, like waiting for a taxi. ETA times differ and are fixed so sometimes drivers are faster/slower and customers do not get the right info.

The most impactful thing about Circuit is really the efficiency it has brought to our company overall. From communication between dispatchers and customers, to the effectiveness of the drivers, to the massively reduced training time of new employees, Circuit has made unbelievable changes to our overall performance. This does not include the fact that the cost of Circuit is only a fraction of the total savings we are getting by using the software. The free trial was also a great investment. Integration into our companies processes was not only simple but also eliminated some of the extra steps we had to do with our old system. We had Circuit fully up and running company wide in just a few minutes and even people who were not at all computer savvy were able to get their portion up and running with little problem quickly.

Nachteile

The largest thing that i currently do not like about Circuit is the fact that my drivers cannot mark a break on their route if they are using android or google powered phones. There is an option on Iphones to do this but it has not made it to the other devices as of yet. This is a minor thing however, because when i reached out to the Circuit team they were already aware of it and were working on making it an active thing. I hope to see that update roll out soon.

which is too easy to use and extremely efficient and stable, in all the time I have been using it it has never failed me and the times that the application has crashed it has lasted minutes out of service which speaks very well of the response time of its workers to put it back on, I work from Latin America and despite being a foreign application, for me, it is very well designed for any user and the response time for queries is very fast.

It's difficult to talk about what I don't like about circuit because unfortunately I feel that I haven't gotten the most out of it, which is a shame because our operation has improved a lot. If I have to say something, it's that I can't add my clients' emails because They do not want to download the app to see the details of their delivery

Circuit is a very useful multistopp planer, so the route is "made" with some clicks As a manager you have a history of past and can investigate on problematic drops If you set up your raw information of the route well, you will have a time saving app

pricing could be smarter and cheaper for example: team packages for companies with monthly payments ( as existing) but also a single user package for low price or for one year, so some drivers could buy it for one year even if the company doesn't want to spend money for the app

I like the platform overall. It's never buggy, and drivers seem to get along with it.
However on the route management side - the story is completely different

Some simple features are still missing (see me points). In addition your routing algorithm requires more features. You have to understand that not everyone who uses your software runs a amazon/ UPS style package delivery route.
For some logistical company's it is highly important to serve a specific delivery at an exact time.
However the algorithm literally choose this for you based on the route (i.e - I need to deliver package A at a 10am, when pressing the "optimize" the algorithm might decide on a allocating the delivery window to 2pm...)

I like the fact that we can input our entire day of deliveries and optimize how our day goes based on our clients needs in the most effective way possible.

I do wish that there were upgrades to the phone app so that if our driver needs to add someone before the route starts he has the ability to do so(which I know he can) but with the ability to add a email or phone number so the the client gets a notification. At this point I have to enter it in on my computer for that to happen. There are times when we add someone mid route and if our driver adds them it would be nice for the client to get notifications.

We like having a simple app to create routes for our local deliveries each week. The basic plan is suffice for 1-2 days delivery 4-30 orders.

Nachteile

The only dislike is the route directions sometimes don’t make sense. When you choose first stop, it takes you to it but then will direct you all the back to the second stop which could be farthest away rather than rerouting to make the next closest stop, stop 2. I have tried a few different hacks to fix this but we end up just hopping off the route and getting back on.

This routing software has a clean, intuitive interface that runs quickly and smoothly. It helps the delivery crew accurately report delivery status as well as helping the sales staff to make much more informed decisions as to scheduling. I am confident that there are many deliveries that would not have happened without this software.

Recently a "save changes" step was added after "re-order all/changed stops". This extra click is easy to miss and has resulted in a few inaccurate routes when a browser was closed/computer restarted. Though, we are now on the lookout for that.

Circuit is a great app for anyone who organises deliveries and/or drivers as part of their work function. It's user friendly and inexpensive and can be used by anyone with a phone. It sorts deliveries in to the most efficient runs, provides a 'proof of delivery' function, shows real time tracking of drivers and notifies customers. The Circuit team provide great customer service, are constantly improving their product and are happy to take suggestions onboard for further improvements.

Nachteile

There's nothing I don't like about Circuit. There is one improvement that I have already suggested to the team, which they took onboard. This was the ability to click and drag a particular delivery and place it exactly where I want it in the delivery run, irrespective of what is the most efficient order. This would help as occasionally our customers have particular needs that don't fit in with the most efficient route.

We like the route management so we don't need to manually sort a drop list for our drivers. Circuit automatically gives our drives the most efficient drop list and route.

Real time adjustments to the delivery locations and order would be great.

Given the ease of import data, we are able to manage our weekly delivery route with accuracy and appropriate automated communication with our customers!

The most useful feature missing for our use would be the ability to change the order of stops manually. The "make first" and "make last" functionality is useful but needs further development in allowing to select the order of the stops and opting out of the optimization of route option!

dealing with customer service, I have not been impressed with them any time I discover an issue, as an example, addresses we have used many times, all of sudden is putting it on the map miles away on a street that doesn't even with the same letter. but the next time same address can be where it belongs. When I called in it, it was they never heard of it and it was something i was doing wrong. Then months later I see a post that this problem has been solved, (so others had the same issue) when this was posted that it was fixed, it wasn't , but this past two weeks it seems it has been finally repaired.

Circuit is improving all the time. It is a great product for the price, and the team seems to actively be working to upgrade it. Their customer service is accessible and they listen and work to fix any issues that arise. Including modifying the functions when necessary.

Too many finalization buttons to optimize a route. It seems like you have to click through so much after inputting the route information before the route is actually saved. Many times our team has input a route and not finalized it because you have to walk through 3 additional steps to complete it. That takes time when working with a customer.

Clients not being able to message the driver specifically, not sure if I’m missing anything but usually when clients message the message doesn’t get to the driver. Also sometimes doing the route and redoing them when a driver changes can mess up the whole route, wish that was a little easier. Sometimes I have 5 drivers and add in another driver but when you optimize the route then only 4 or 5 drivers get a route which doesn’t make sense, it should split them into the active driver. So then it’s a manual process for me which does take some time. But in general, hasn’t been bad.

Circuit made a usually tedious process of planning my routes for philanthropy and charity a breeze. To be able to plug in multiple different addresses across the county and have their algorithm standardize it in one simple route is what is making me consider subscribing to this service in the future. No other service does route planning better.

Nachteile

I personally did not find the other services Circuit offered to be useful to me - but that is more so to do with my goals than theirs. While they offer Route Planner and Teams to differentiate different accommodations and goals, they might need to further this visually (e.g. different color schemes or branding). They already attempt to do this, but Circuit is what people will remember - so maybe consider combining them into one application with one brand and making sure the difference is clear for both users of Route Planner and Teams.

We tested several other programs (some cheaper and some more expensive) but Circuit had the best value. It was very fast to implement and learn how to use the software. I really like the monthly updates and features they push to us.

Overall the multiple clicks to get add a stop, make changes to a route is a bit cumbersome. It would be nice to streamline that process.

Being able to manually enter delivery information makes Circuit very user friendly for a one driver business. Also seeing the distance for each days deliveries gives us a good idea of how to properly plan our daily routes.

I would like to be able to add a number to the delivery to help manipulate it to suit the days route. IE: Account A is #1 delivery Account B is #2 delivery and then let the route planning take over from there.

If you are running a small fleet of delivery vehicles, then the circuit is a must have. It is a cost effective solution with loads of great features. The one feature we love is how the customer can track their delivery to their business.

Nachteile

None thing really. The only feature that would be fantastic to have would be to upload a week's worth of deliveries and for circuit to optimise the run for the week. At the moment you only do it for the day. Which means sometimes we go to the same area in the week.

Circuit has allowed our organization to be able to serve more individuals in need that qualify for our services due to the dramatic amount of time we were using to hand-type and navigate ourselves for our deliveries. Now, with Circuit, we can base our route off the week before that was saved within our team and add and take off deliveries instead of having to manually do it by hand.

The mobile app can be more of the way to go in terms of routes but sometimes we do have to use the webpage. I have seen it be significantly slower on that aspect.

It gives ease to me for making routes for our Drivers. I make nearly 12 to 14 routes everyday across the UK using Circuit. I was using it in my previous company and I suggested it to my new company owners. They liked it and bought subscription immediately. Previously they were using Free Bing Maps for routes. Overall its very convenient and time saver.

Please improve upload through spreadsheets by entering less options. We have to put too many data into the spreadsheet.

I wish there was a way to track the time at each stop. There is a spot to import an estimated time at each stop, although it is difficult to collect that data aside in the field. If there was a way to find the difference from the arrival time to the time the user clicks "Navigate" to the next stop, that would be an excellent way to get an idea of how long a driver is at a particular stop.
