Employee portal

Our company used Bloomfire to establish our employee portal news, updates and policy and procedures. The app is easy to use, provided a location for central web access, it was simple and seamless to setup and maintain. Corporate P&P were easily uploaded and accessible by staff. Pricing was comfortably within budget for our small business. Positively recommend this for internal use or even for business to client use.

Bloomfire has been great!

We use bloomfire for our customer experience team and it has been a great tool to update the team on policy changes, product changes and as a general resource for the vast amount of information we have. We used other tools in the past that were not nearly as intuitive and bloomfire has made the team more productive. There are features we haven't fully utilized and we still love it so it's well worth the money.

Not great for the way we use it

We use Bloomfire across 3 different teams, with a lot of different posts and series. The more we add into it, the harder it becomes to find information. Generally, it's just not structured/organized enough.

The best way to share knowledge and guidelines with my team work

I live the style and the simple way to share to my team the knowledge I have and receive a feedback.

Unsure of Program

I like what I've seen of Bloomfire, but I'm not sure I'm getting the most out of this software and it's hard to find resources to learn more about everything it can do.

Solid way to keep a community informed and keep an eye on who is engaged.

Have been using Bloomfire for just over 3 years now, it's always been a simple and fairly intuitive way for employees at any level to contribute questions, suggestions, or knowledge, and it's easy to see who is engaged within our community as well.

Great internal KMS

Best tool for Community of Practice (CoP)

We looked at a lot of social tools before we selected Bloomfire and we found that most of them used the Facebook model, which doesn't work well for content and knowledge sharing. Bloomfire's ease of use, posting, searching, etc. contributed significantly to the success of our CoP

Complete and easy to use

Our organization has just recently started using Bloomfire as our main knowledge database and we are still learning and discovering new functionality. Compared to the software we used before, Bloomfire is smart, easy to use and also really easy to update. Our teams love how smart the search is and like how easy it is to bookmark commonly used links.

Engaging Tool

Bloomfire is a great tool to promote and streamline communication. It includes many useful features and more tools are constantly being added. We used it mostly for training and employee communication purposes. Bloomfire was very efficient and easy to use. Overall, it's great way to streamline the training process and provide support to employees.

Great KM Tool for millenials

The CUSTOMIZATION is probably the best feature on Bloomfire. For an agile and fast paced company, you would need to have a platform that can keep up and Bloomfire does that. I know the reporting dashboards are being built out continuously, but it would be nice to have more customization and modification as it relates to report building and such.

The best I've seen for building Communities of Practice

We've used this very successfully where Yammer and other Facebook type approaches would not work for us.

Great option for building a knowledge base

We've been using bloomfire for a couple of months now and have noticed a definite increase in our new team members ability to be self-sufficient.

Bloomfire is great for bringing teams together across the silos of large organizations

We have used Bloomfire to create several communities of practice, helping bring multi-disciplinary teams together from across a large organization. I'm able to share information through Bloomfire in a way that is searchable later on, as opposed to email or shared drives - Bloomfire is much more discoverable.

Bloomfire has a lot to offer

I love using bloomfire. It is a real easy program to administer. It allows our company to share information on a web-based application platform. We can create team communities where people can post questions and answers. This makes it so much easier to monitor and collaborates amongst the company.

A Great Community for Our Staff and Users

The Bloomfire community we've built keeps our support and education teams connected with the small businesses that take our product to market. We are able to easily communicate new advancements in our product, post sales resources and get feedback from our user base via comments and user posts.

What happened to the format?

I used to love the intuitive visual experience of navigating Bloomfire -- titles, subtitles, entry text were all clear and easy to locate. Now it all looks offset and same, and I have difficulty quickly absorbing the post. Look at what Medium is doing, or return to the old settings. Thanks!

Works great

It has been a life savior to send large documents and power points! Our documents are very large and they can not send in just a regular email. So we send them to bloom fire and it uploads and the person can get the document.

Bloomfire is highly customizable, easy for novice users to contribute, yet powerful enough for advanced content creators. Solves so many knowledge management problems. Worth a look for any company facing the challenge of keeping customers or employees engaged and up to date.

Amazing Search Features

The search function within Bloomfire has really allowed our organization to find the content that they need, when they need it. It blows other search tools out of the water.

Great for a large team

I have always found that Bloomfire is a great way for team members to keep up to date with whats going on around the team. We have a large team and sharing information is super important. Not only that but keeping it all together and easily accessible is key.

Community of Resources

I love Bloomfire because we can house so many tools for our sales force to easily find, view and share as needed. From technical papers, collection videos, industry related articles and so much more, Bloomfire allows for easy sharing of a variety of content.

Invaluable resource for documenting best procedures

We used bloomfire to host all of out standard operating procedures. This helped us stay organized and have everyone on the same page

Great alternative to a LMS

Bloomfire has been a great alternative at our company to post various materials, videos, tutorials, and make posts. Sure the features are short in some areas (no SCORM or TIN-CAN), but it's not a deal breaker for us. Definitely worth considering!

nice resource for team

This system makes it much easier for people to find materials then other systems we have used in the past. The hardest part is keeping it clean with the tagging, naming conventions, etc. The video transcriptions do a pretty sub-par job.

Best Sales Enablement Tool We've Seen

Bloomfire's simple interface has allowed us to dramatically decrease new sales reps time to productivity. Our team is better engaged with one another and tribal knowledge is bubbling up and becoming a key part of our sales strategies.

Excellent Platform for Managing Ideas in a large group

We started using Bloomfire as a collaboration tool for a large group representing different industries. It is a great way to share resources, generate dialogue and get questions answered.

Good Product But a Bad Pricing Structure

The software is easy to use, but the pricing structure doesn't work well for companies of our size. The biggest complaint is how BF handles documents like PDFs, PP slideshows, and so on.

Great product

We use Bloomfire for all of our training videos and it is the backbone of our new employee on boarding. It is a powerful product and plays an important role in scaling our organization.

Ok, but can be a bit cumbersome.

Bloomfire is good, but can become a "kitchen drawer" of information if not managed well. There can be a tendency to throw everything in Bloomfire and then it becomes very cluttered.

Easy to Use

The ability to create posts so varied and to add them to different series made it a lot easier for our org. to spread the word to the employees regarding the processes we use.

Global Communication just got easier

Advanced Reporting & Analytics application really allows company to better communicate with our consumers. We can also crowdsource information and recognize our own employees.

Great people, lacking functionality

The API is lacking a lot of functionality. You have to interact directly with their Amazon space rather than being provided an endpoint for it, which is a lot less efficient.
