Great customer service...easy to use!

Very Useful Corporate Tool
We have implemented Bloomfire as a corporate tool in the hopes that our busiest resources can have their load lightened with a single source for all our Documentation. In addition the ability to ask questions within our community has been a great help. Despite this tools inception in the Summer of 2016 we are still working through having everyone getting used to using it. It is a work in progress that we believe is well worth the effort.

Great tool for communication and peer-to-peer learning
We use Bloomfire as a forum to share company news and process changes with our branches. It also serves as a place for employees to ask questions of each other and find out how other branches handle business processes and issues. The interface is very intuitive to use.

Good "Intranet"
We've been using Bloomfire for about 3 years now as our company "Intranet". It's a great tool for us to store and retrieve pertinent information/forms/trainings for not only our new folks, but folks that have been with us for a while.

Bloomfire use by FreightPros
We use Bloomfire for internal process documents and SOPs. All teams have access to all documents so we can get a better idea of who does what, and how.
Vorteile
Provides a place for us to keep process-related docs. I like that we can create our own docs from within Bloomfire. I like the Q&A feature.
Nachteile
Hard to keep it organized... We want everyone to participate but then its hard to keep all the series/categories/tags/etc straight.

Luke Peirsel - McKesson Review
I have been using the platform for three years and have seen many improvements over this time. It has become easier to use and the functionality has increased exponentially. However, some things have become a burden. I think there should be an option to print directly from the viewing screen without downloading. Also, it should be simple to combine posts that have been around since series were the best way of adding multiple docs together.
Truly I think the largest problem I have seen is the increase in cost per subscriber. I do not feel the platform has come along as much as the cost has increased.

Brian Gilbert Review
Just starting to learn. One way to improve for me is in the rooms. When I invite someone to a "Room" It sounds a little creepy. "Brian Gilbert has invited you to a room" Would be better if it said, Brian has invited you to a create space, collaborative space, brainstorming session, etc. Also, I'd like to be able to types notes directly into the room instead of creating a post, putting it into a group and then bringing it into the room. Still a great software solution for us

The tool is very capable, but not easy to master without very structured training. Our internal team has put together guides for what and how information is shared in Bloomfire. It would be helpful to have a 'built in' basic guide.

We sue it as a way to keep sales updated on industry news, marketing collateral, events and activities. It works great, brings new features every few months and is easy to use.

Bloomfire is Awesome
I will continue to use Bloomfire. It does have a lot features that are helpful in our daily jobs.

Bloomfire is simple to use and easy to find since an icon has been provided for us on our homepage. I love having the virtual knowledge available 24/7.

The wait time is usually too long of a wait as most times we have the clients right in front of us or on the phone waiting also.

Clunky Mobile Performance
Mobile app is clunky since the last update and our users are losing faith in using it on their mobile devices. They turn to the web browser version where they have to download content to use it when they are on the go. We had a stash option on mobile before where the reps could use their documentation on the fly without wifi...now they are expected to log in to obtain those stashed documents...well, this requires wifi and completely kills the perk we purchased licenses for in the first place.

Definitely A Helpful Tool
We use this tool at work to share basic knowledge about our other tools and processes. It's pretty handy, though it's not all that intuitive. Rather difficult to format posts or questions the way you need - However, it does allow you to insert different media types into the posts, which is nice (although you cannot do this with the Questions/Answers, which can be frustrating).

Disappointed
I found the product hard to use, and we had a really bad customer onboarding experience. We are using Guru now which we love. It has a logic to it that fits into our workflow.

It can sometimes be hard to navigate and I'm not sure the search function is as useful as it could be. I often try searching for things and if I don't use exact wording I don't get what I'm looking for.

Great Collaborative Knowledgebase
Bloomfire is easy to use and relatively inexpensive. We use it in our call center to keep our agents up-to-date on all of our policy changes. The ability for users to ask questions and flag posts is very helpful. The only downside is text formatting. Even if you to the HTML markup, the formatting doesn't always show correctly.

Bloomfire - Enterprise review
If you need to get up and running fast with minimal expense, have a lot of videos and content to start posting, and have users at worldwide locations this is the way to go.
Vorteile
Easy to start using immediately. Uploads are very easy. Doesn't need much local IT support. It has an app for mobile access that works very well. Customer service is pretty good.
Nachteile
Becomes more complicated if you have multiple related Bloomfires such as with the Enterprise version.

We have two "groups" in where I need to search for a phrase. I find it confusing to search between the two groups, or to "limit" the search to properly only look in the single group. Otherwise, I find the product fairly straightforward. :-)

Bloomfire's functionality is above average, but analytics features could be re-worked and design could be more appealing. The bloomfire customer support staff is great.

I find the ability to link live Google Docs to a post really helpful. I mostly go into our system to answer questions that others have. I do post resources a lot and find myself going there to see what other teams' resources are. I find it relatively easy to use.

Bloomfire allows our sales team to publish documents and articles that they can then share with the other team members. It allows to questions to be published and allows for any other person in the group to answer and share their experiences which is helpful. You can track to see who is participating by viewing items and is one common spot for everything to be contained. Bloomfire has helped our sales team be more efficient and effective working together.

Pretty cool.
I do like Bloomfire and use it a lot for referencing our internal articles. I don't see it being much different than using a free Wordpress with some blog categories though, it seems there is tons of ways to accomplish this overall.
