Syncfusion has an amazing selection of easy to use and highly customisable visualisation components. Everything from simple line chars to complex Tree maps.

They even added Caleender and have a PDF library.

Their excellent customer support makes it easy to use and fix issues when you find them.

I would highly recommend this package to anyone looking for a visualisation package for flutter.

Nachteile

Would like to see more complex graphs used by data scientists like 3d scatter plots and components to visualise point clouds.

The mapping component does exactly what we need, and is the reason we started using Syncfusion Essential Studio. At the time, the other components were a bonus, but since then, the many components give our software a richness we couldn't achieve on our own.

Nachteile

Sometimes, the help alone doesn't answer questions about a component not used before, but there are many examples, and the support team have always been excellent and quick to respond.

Vorteile

Comparatively easy to create reports and graphs using the pivot table VS other JavaScript table and graph solutions, primarily because you can just pump in your data and it takes care of the calculations for you. Typically you'd have to process all of your data and create some object with all of the calculations in an object with some obscure structure.

Nachteile

Could probably do with slightly more on the documentation front, though there are lots of examples which are most certainly helpful, sometimes you ideally want to get a definition of the classes and methods themselves.

Easy to use and integrate into projects, the quick starts are really good and enable you to get up and running in no time. The documentation is very good and any queries are quickly and efficiently dealt with normally with samples provided by the support teams.

They have a lot of pre-made components, very useful for creating awesome user interfaces

Every version upgrade is a jump into the void, you don't really know if something will break or not.
Mu recommendation is to upgrade and manually test your WHOLE application, starting from license activation to appearance and behaviour.

All nessessary code is already included to use extended functionality. Individual customization is possiplle too.

To find the just needed explanation for a function in the documentation is a bit tricky. The documentation is not in all situations deep enough. Examle: ASPNET.Core Datagrid, records in Grid = ?
Used to use aggreagat functionallity? No, in dataBound -function use : var recordcount= this.currentViewData.lenght is one posibility that I didn't find in documentation so far.

Customer Support is high quality. They are trying to find solution for you. If they can't find solution. They are opening incedent and max 2 days you are getting response but I got my responses in 1 day.

When it comes to a dynamic behavior for example pre-selected options it can be a challenge to achieve this.

On-line forum and support is great and very responsive.

For someone such as I who has only a basic knowledge of CSS, the controls are a bit difficult to use and understand. They would benefit from a bit more information about how Syncfusion uses CSS and the standards they employ. The examples provided are OK but the product would be enhanced if there was more of them.

The sample applications are failry unstable, particularly the latest Pivot (Analysis) tools, and the load performance for the datagrid is pretty poor for large amounts of data

For basic scenarios it’s good out of the box.
If you get stuck the support is very nice and also helps with samples.

I really miss some more advance but quite obvious things. E.g. Angular Grid with CRUD operations and offline capability bound to ASP Core Web Api. (That is nothing really fancy)
Instead of just the doc - why not giving a sample with the grid and all features active at once?

The support always tries to help. Also with samples. It would be nice to have a list of already provided samples instead of searching all over the forum.

Some components or features are only available on specific platforms. It would be great to have the same components and a similar way to use them for all platforms.
Work in progress and some bugs still have to be ironed out especially for Blazor.

It was easy to use. The examples helped accelerate my development and learning of both the components and the Xamarin platform. In a nutshell, I was able to get my phototype of an iPhone application up and running and record time.

Some features are easy. When it worked, the Gantt was great. Dropdowns are good. Almost everything else can be done more reliably with standard Blazor components

Releases are made without ensuring that every part of the system works perfectly. I get an update to fix one problem that breaks another part of the system. Test it all properly

The components are coded from scratch, they are fast and easy to use.
I am using the Blazor Components and the documentation is excellent.
Also, a huge benefit is the support provided. All my questions were answered
quickly and professional from people that genuinely wanted to help.
They provided examples and links to documentation to help me solve
any issue I came across.

I find the css sometimes can be difficult to track when taking the examples. Do we use the site.css or the component .css or merge them both together.

Syncfusion has an extensive set of components. Almost anything I need can be found in the suite.
Their support is excellent. Even though I use the free community edition, I always get timely responses and they actively think with me to solve any questions/issues.
Community edition is free for me, which is ideal since I'm self-employed and only parttime programming.

Nachteile

There are a lot of components and it is sometimes difficult to find the right component. Documentation is very good for basic use, but isn't always clear if you need to do more special things. Though in that case Internet search usually helps and if not you can always ask their support.

1. there were some limitations to handle selecting and deselecting rows. specifically in multi rows. deselect event didn't work properly as expected.

2. there is some limitation to making a freeze column specially when you have columns that have multiple layers of sub columns.

3. it's not easy to hide some borders in complex grids

I am using the Win UI suite and Essential Studio really gives me what isn't available in the core product from Microsoft and the community.

Nothing really - its extremely straightforward to start using.

Most of the common controls : editors, spinners ect. is very easy to start using in a project. I like the data grid control very much.
The Map control need more enhancements to be able to catch up with DevExpress Map controls.
I still need to use the controls a little longer to see if there are issues, so far I could achieve to implement everything I tried. I love the quick response on support to implement enhancements when requested.

I search a bit longer to find answers in the documentation, the Map control is a bit limited specially with huge datasets and not being able to cluster.

There's quite a number of performance issues and bugs, including regressions. I'm currently only using 2 main controls, namely (Hierarchy) Grid and Tab, and I've reported 9 issues which have been validated by the Syncfusion team as issues. I would have expected it to be more stable.

The first education phase is difficult. Forum pages are a bit inadequate. Usage videos in local languages are missing. For example, generally Telerik and Devexpress use in Turkey. There are many training videos of these tools in Turkish on Youtube. Maybe local languages subtitles can be added to YouTube videos.
